I have brought the list across, fluffed the cushions and put some nice tea to brew. I baked muffins and biscuits too, help yourselves.

piper that must make you feel so good ! Why are men always not up for it at the right time ? I felt like I had to coax him into it this cycle - FFS I thought men were supposed to be mad for it !
FL if your CM is atall stretchy go for it girl ! Even if it does turn to proper EWCM later in the week you can have another go ! As long as it is stretchy it can keep swimmers alive . I really hope this is it for you and the egg finally shows. Hold your wee for 4 hours and do an opk - fingers crossed
Treats CB am so sorry TEW got you we have not had a lucky run us CBs this cycle have we ? I expect AF on Sat, my bl00dy spotting just delays the inevitable grrrr.. but at least I don't waste a fortune on HPTs.

Oufton · 19/02/2008 16:50

Oh treats, my CB, what a disappointment for you, hope you're ok. I'm still waiting for it to arrive, there's definite rumblings so I think it's only a matter of time for me too .

FruitLoop good luck for tonight and kicking DP into gear, dammit he has the easy bit after all!

Hello to everyone else and congrats to musicgirl. Mibbes*, my remaining CB, any news from you (apologies if I've missed a post, I've had to do some speed reading to catch up!)
x

Oufton · 19/02/2008 16:52

Hi mibbes, cross-posted there, we have been very unlucky this cycle, bad news on the spotting although you never know, given the sheer number of crazy symptoms on 2ww.com, it might just be another pregnancy sign for you

Treats · 19/02/2008 16:54

Ah well. I've got a work event this evening, so although I'm just not in the mood, at least I can knock back the champers without worrying about it.

And I've got a day off tomorrow so I can scream and cry from under my duvet and then spend the day on treats for this Treats.

Gloom.

Oufton · 19/02/2008 17:02

Oh defo get quaffing that champers, especially if you've got the day off tomorrow, you can make it worthwhile! As soon as AF arrives I'm hitting the wine with a vengeance.

piper1984 · 19/02/2008 17:03

LOL Mibbles I thought men were supposed to be mad for it as well! At least i know now its not just my man

Oufton · 19/02/2008 17:07

Oh I think we're all in the same boat piper you'd think they'd enjoy the opportunity for a few no-effort quickies!

piper1984 · 19/02/2008 17:18

hahahahaha you'd think Oufton Lol, MEN!!!!!, i just got my DH to agree to BDing everyday this cycle! hopefully he will stick with that

Oh god AF really painful this month

twinklingfairy · 19/02/2008 18:17

I have told DH that we need to BD every other night this month, he agreed but I think his will, will wain( that's a mouthful) as the month goes on.
My fear is, if I start him too soon, he will be all washed out when I really need him.

Another talk with lil sis telling me that she, 'is a great believer' in not trying as such.
Huh!! She is 23, too young for dispensing advice and has no clue what it is like to want a baby and to go month without concieving.
oh yes but we managed first time without really trying and my Bro has an accidental pregnancy, so surely Not trying works better!
tut, and roll of eyes, oh and Grrrrrr!!
ok she says it with eyebrows raised and her I am trying to say something helpful cos I don't want to upset you face. Also I think she is worried that I am becoming obbsessive and would like me not to be IYSWIM
But I am not becoming obbsessive, I am just trying to concieve and trying to improve my odds. That is not obbsessive and anyway it is impossible not to, isn't it?

oh sorry about that little rant, but it is upsetting to be told you are trying to hard and i think you should stop trying cos it is not how I would do it.

fruitloop79 · 19/02/2008 18:23

Just smile sweetly and BREATH twink

I might suggest/insist to DP we BD every other night next cycle (if it ever arrives), cant go wrong then..............surely?

piper1984 · 19/02/2008 18:47

Hi TF I know how you feel. I hate when someone says not to try so hard. Only people who have never had to try would say something like that

A friend of mine just rang me to tell me she's pregnant, she was giving about stink about it cause it wasnt planned some people dont know how easy they have it

On a happier note -- DH seems very optimistic about our Bdingathon!!

Sorry, now i'm ranting!

SparklyMummy · 19/02/2008 19:33

Hi all.
Only had a quick catch up because I haven't long got in.
NOAM I know, I must try and eat and drink regulary. I rarely eat breakfast and sometimes skip lunch too which is bad. I also don't drink tea or coffee so I would say my fluid intake is just over 50cl a day: I usually drink most of a bottle of evian which is nowhere near enough so I will try harder Mummy Noam! RE: your bloody wipe today..it could be an implantation bleed so try your best to think positive. The line is faint because it's so early and you still got a positive so try not to worry. [hugs]
Mibbles I hope your spotting doesn't turn to AF and that you're instincts are wrong and AF stays away for 9 months.
EI You're brave doing a 10k. I can't even run to the shop (300 yards away). Any more signs of early OV?
Treats Sorry AF got you.
Piper How are you feeling?

Sorry my post is so long and sorry to anyone i've missed out but only read quickly.

Another -OPK. I'm worrying myself. Haven't had a chance to do them for the last 2 mornings but done them the last 2 nights. Heavy CM on Monday and then some today. Day 15 of approx 31 day cycle. BD Sunday. Do you think i've OV and OPK has missed it?

SparklyMummy · 19/02/2008 19:37

Forgot to add TF I do think somehow your body changes when you don't try so hard and the reason we aren't getting our beans is because we really want it. Not nice to be told to stop trying and so on because how can you do that when you want it so much?
I have a sugar daddy rather than a toy boy. I thought u all had very sexed partners. Mine isn't particulary sexed but will do it if I ask. I wanted to do it last night but he wanted to wait until tonight. I wish it wasn't so forced though and I felt like I was doing it for reasons other than TTC. Ah well....
Sorry for long posts!

SparklyMummy · 19/02/2008 19:40

Mibbles your not you're..have to mark my work.
Apologies for serial posting.

mibbes · 19/02/2008 20:26

teehee at you correcting yourself Sparkly. you may have missed ov but it should show up in the evening too - worth a bd but keep doing them just incase late ov - last cycle I had a very unusually late ov and missed it because I stopped doing opks after cd25
thanks for encouragement but I know my crappy cycles and this is defo pre-AF. Not to worry though, hopefully Doc will sort me out next week

SparklyMummy · 19/02/2008 20:36

Good luck with that mibbles. I think i'll be visiting my GP too. Am going to monitor this month and see what happens. Are we hitting the December due dates? Christmas babies here we come!

SparklyMummy · 19/02/2008 20:43

EI You were in my dream last night. I only just remembered. You caught my DP with his best mate...in a kinda sexual way lol. What a strange dream. I DO NOT feel in any way that my DP is gay..he is one of the straightest people I know but what a weird dream, lol!

EiWishFor3MoreWishes · 19/02/2008 21:07

oo er sparkly how strange maybe the odd dreams are catching as i keep having weird ones ah well lets hope theyre not psychic unless i was sporting a BFP in my pocket or a big baby bump out front of course oh and im only doing a 5k so not so brave and i think i would literally drop down dead if i attempted 10k how are you HCB??
hope everyone else is ok
xx ei xx

SparklyMummy · 19/02/2008 21:14

I always get weird dreams too...penguin water slide at cardiff bay last week with mummy penguins searching for their babies/me wearing that awful monster suit from the film The Village and so on...v v v v weird dreams.
I think i'm ok. In school 745-530. Came home, bathed Lara, put her to bed, sorted my desk, started working, ate tea and stil working now. Half way through the week thank god!!
5k very brave. U go girl!!
How are you?

EiWishFor3MoreWishes · 19/02/2008 21:22

not too bad my poor old nan has been taken into hospital as they thought she had a blockage in her bowel but it turns out that she has had a major flare up of her diverticular disease she is going to be ok but it is still worrying as shes 71 now so getting on a bit i am fine though
xx ei xx

SparklyMummy · 19/02/2008 21:27

Bless her. I hope she is ok.
We lost my nan exactly 2 years ago. She was 83 so you're nan has a lot left in her yet!
Is anyone watching C4?

EiWishFor3MoreWishes · 19/02/2008 21:37

no we are watching the match (liverpool v intermilan) snooze fest zzzzzzzz DH doesnt even like football but seems as how his mates in work do he watches it so he can join in the conversation over bacon butties men eh!!
xx ei xx

SparklyMummy · 19/02/2008 21:38

LOL! I asked my DP why he watches football and he admitted it was for this reason!!

EiWishFor3MoreWishes · 19/02/2008 21:41

men are funny creatures arent they
he does the same thing with cricket and motor racing aswell so life is a bore here sometimes MN is my lifeline
xx ei xx

SparklyMummy · 19/02/2008 21:43

Mine too. Dp has started asking how FL, EI and Piper are. I've only mentioned you all a few hundred times! We should have a meet up when we have our beans. Do people do that?
