I have brought the list across, fluffed the cushions and put some nice tea to brew. I baked muffins and biscuits too, help yourselves.

hi mibbes up to now i havent had any EWCM but i have had some other white CM so maybe it is on its way soon i dont know i had soem symptoms last month early on and then got loads of EWCM aroud CD15 so i dont know what to think. my sis has suggested i go and speak to my GP about my odd AFs so im trying to get an appointment for the end of the week (she thinks it could be PCOS which the doc has suggested testing for before) and i also want some advice on weight loss and excercise as i have signed up for the race for life this year anyone else doing it?? how are you holding up today?? glad you are going to see the doc about your worries hopefully he will help to explain it for you
xx ei xx

JollyBear · 19/02/2008 10:55

musicgirl Congrats on your BFP!

NOAM I'll keep everything crossed that this is just an implantation bleed.

Scary Green wee!!

mibbes · 19/02/2008 11:14

Ei I haven't done the race for life but usually do the Glasgow 10K - running is the best way to lose weight and get fit so good luck and well done for signing up . I was actually hoping I won;t be able to do the 10K this year due to a big bump... maybe I should dign up and try to envoke the sod's law theory that MTW did with ther diet club Good luck with GP visit too - If you are atall worried it does make you feel better to be making positive steps. I have actually requested a female GP as not sure I could talk about spotting and stuff with a bloke (esp if he was gorgeous like Bucky's !)

EiWishFor3MoreWishes · 19/02/2008 11:29

my GP looks like a short-bearded father christmas and the other one is russian and doesnt understand you when you try to explain things to her she is doing english language lessons apparantly so she should be a bit more understanding soon hopefully the FC-GP is good though so hopefully he will help point me in the right direction
xx ei xx

scully · 19/02/2008 11:45

Well done for signing up for that EI Hopefully Sods law will kick in Mibbes !
Off to bed now, even CSI Miami can't keep me awake

Treats · 19/02/2008 11:48

Lots of catching up to do......

Congrats musicgirl and hope it all goes well. Fingers crossed NOAM for an implantation bleed - don't panic!!

to Piper, Eleveld, Lobsterslass and Scary for your AFS.

Scary - v. interesting article on acupuncture and fertility in today's Guardian. i've been for two sessions (only two because it is expensive). I'm not sure what effect it's really had yet.

Nothing to report from your Treats correspondent since my BFN on Saturday morning. Thanks for all your supportive messages - and fingers crossed that it was a bit early to test.

I'm on day 28, so expecting AF to come for her visit tomorrow. Just not sure if my symptoms are pregnancy or pre-menstrual. My boobs are now so big that they'll need to set up home on their own before too long (although not quite as sore as normal ), I've got a few spots today and quite a lot of CM (although no spotting, which I've had for the last five AFs). Was absolutely starving and very moody all weekend (rowed with DH about loo-seats for two hours on Saturday - don't ask!!)

Went to see Juno on Saturday (great film!!! - go see even if you think you can't bear to watch a film about pregnancy - I dare you not to cry when you watch the scene with the adoptive mother in teh shopping mall) and just KNEW that I was pregnant. But now I'm not sure........

(Sorry for long post)

EiWishFor3MoreWishes · 19/02/2008 11:56

treats fingers crossed for you i want to go and see juno it looks good

cricri · 19/02/2008 12:04

Hi everybody,
I was away for the weekend and couldn't believe how many messages had been posted since I last logged on
Apologies if I don't mention everybody...
Musicgirl Congratulations on your BFP! Wonderful news.
NOAM As somebody else said, hopefully it's just implantation bleeding. Fingers crossed for you...
Lobsterslass Sorry about BFN - hopefully you just tested too early.
Treats Thanks for the article on fertility and acupuncture. I've also been having treatment since Christmas. My last cycle was a bit shorter than previous ones post-mc as a result and it makes me feel very relaxed if nothing else. Fingers crossed AF stays away for you and you also tested too early.
Hope everybody else is OK.

piper1984 · 19/02/2008 12:18

Hi NOAM
i have everything crossed for you that this is impantation bleed.

Treats sorry about the BFN, Hopefully you just tested too early

fruitloop79 · 19/02/2008 13:38

Would you lot stop gassing so I can catch up!. DP was hogging the laptop last night and this morning so I couldnt get on. Well, I still had the hump with him last night but hinted to him I was going to bed, I said I was going to go to sleep soon, HINT HINT. Well, he got into bed and started reading his bloody book! I dont see why I've gotta make the first move all the time . We haven't BDed since Sat morning and I'm worried if we dont BD at least every 3 days we will never catch my egg (if I ever get one). My chart's not giving me any clues and neither is CM or OPKs - Day 58 now and I'm getting really f*ing fed up now

EiWishFor3MoreWishes · 19/02/2008 13:53

oh dear HCB FL bloody men eh!!! my DH is like that only he decideds when he wants to BD and when i want to hes too tired etc hope you do catch the egg and all is well

to fruitloop. How frustrating for you. How long was your last cycle? If you don't think you're ov'ing at the moment, it's probably not such a big deal if you've missed a few days, but I can understand how you feel if you're not sure when you're ov'ing. Hope he shapes up this evening .

fruitloop79 · 19/02/2008 14:19

Thanks guys, I kick him into gear tonight .
Right, no temp shift (but only started temping a week or so ago), but just went exploring (TMI ALERT!) cervix high, soft and open (I think) and lots of EWCM but it's not clear like egg white it's white with the odd see through streak. Any one think it's possible to still ov on CD58????? I've had this before during this cycle. I don't know if it's the PCOS winding me up or not I can't do an OPK cos I've just been to loo so too late. I might ask the temping buddies too.....
AND the PCOS girls, someone must know something!!!

fruitloop79 · 19/02/2008 14:19

treats my last cycle was 88 days (PCOS)

MollieMooma · 19/02/2008 14:22

FL - can we swop dh's?? Mine can't get enough, I'm the one fobbing him off with excuses, probably got something to do with the fact that he's 10 years younger so I'm cutting him off in his prime! Toyboys you can stick em!

fruitloop79 · 19/02/2008 14:28

Mollie my DP is also a toyboy! he's two years younger than me, he's only 26! Should be in his prime!

Treats · 19/02/2008 14:48

Fruitloop - I think most people ovulate two weeks before the end of their cycle - regardless of how long it is. So if you're typically 88 days, then you probably won't ov until about day 74 or so. I don't know if 88 days is typical, or whether the length of your cycle fluctuates. If it fluctuates, then it's obviously going to be hard to predict exactly when ovulation will occur.

So you could definitely be ov'ing right now - and be having a 72-ish day cycle. Don't know what the cervix tells you, but any kind of CM is encouraging. Keep an eye on it over the next few days - if it changes to EWCM then you're in business. I don't think PCOS has an effect on CM particularly.

Scratch what I said earlier, get BD-ing straightaway!!!

MollieMooma · 19/02/2008 14:54

FL - Oops Snap well he's 26 in April, I'm 36 in June. Hope I didn't make you feel worse about it!
Get thee to Ann Summers then see if he
says he's tired!

calsworld · 19/02/2008 14:54

Can anyone help - I'm confused and starting to stress....DH and I have just decided to start TTC for no 2, we've only had one unprotected BD on Sunday, which was CD18 (I think) and today I've had a small bleed. I'm not due on my period for a while yet, so what was this?

EiWishFor3MoreWishes · 19/02/2008 15:08

hi calsworld it could be an ovulation bleed i think i have had one of these this cycle and a few others have said they have had this too so get BDing just in case good luck
xx ei xx

EiWishFor3MoreWishes · 19/02/2008 15:09

my DH is my toyboy aswell only by 18 months like but sometimes it is obvious i am 25 and he has recently turned 24 (im 26 in may)
xx ei xx

JollyBear · 19/02/2008 15:33

FL When I still had the FF VIP membership I looked at loads of long cycle charts and some ladies got BFP on these really long cycles so it can happen.

EWCM is promising and if you haven't had a temp rise then get bd'ing. You can do opks at any time of day I think. The cheap ones say not to use FMU but apart from that you can do them at any time of day. Good luck .

calsworld I agree with ei. Good luck!

Treats · 19/02/2008 16:21

, ,

AF just arrived......

piper1984 · 19/02/2008 16:26

sorry to hear that Treats AF is horrible!!!

I've decided i'm banning AF next month!

FL
OMG I thought it was only my DH that needed kicking into gear!! told DH last night that we have to BD every night this month --- he didnt look to impressed
