I have brought the list across, fluffed the cushions and put some nice tea to brew. I baked muffins and biscuits too, help yourselves.

Morning! Oooh the sun is shining, what a beutiful day I feel a BFP coming up, who's it gonna be????? Treats??????????

Emmsy It is heartbreaking, Did you get comments from people along the lines of "That baby needs a bottle" GGGGggggggrrrrrr .
I've warned my heavily pregnant friend that actually not every woman is physically able to BF (like midwives/health profs tell you). Only very lucky women are able to do it.
I was also devastated when I had no let down. Almost like being robbed of being a woman or something - especially when it takes so long to fall pg in the first place

Oh what happy start to the morning, AF must be on her way after all this whining from me!

fruitloop79 · 16/02/2008 07:58

(beautiful, not beutiful)

cece · 16/02/2008 08:04

Morning all.

AF has arrived in full force. Up all night with excrutiating pains but hey ho hoping they will ease off today. Have to see doc on 26th Feb about scan results (about the bad pains I had last AF) but then we will bd ...

When the list is next updated can some one add me on. I am CD 2. Cycle 2. TTC#3, after a late mc in Dec.

fruitloop79 · 16/02/2008 08:25

Oh and Morning ei and Sparkly my HCBs

Emmsy1 · 16/02/2008 09:30

Treats any news yet???
Fruity sorry about the cock up on the temping buddies thread!
Yeah, it was awful when I was told to 'keep trying' by the midwife,(I really intended to BF) I was in tears behind the curtains while poor DS was sucking so hard and getting nothing, I'm sure he would have starved if it wasn't for the older midwife rescuing us both!

Emmsy1 · 16/02/2008 09:31

cece have a nice few days away!

Emmsy1 · 16/02/2008 09:37

fruity It's really odd, my first proper symptom for pregnancy are that my boobs really hurt!? You would think that when they do a breast reduction that they would attach the nipple to some milk ducts as I'm sure there is plenty in there, just no way for it to come out? They won't even give you tablets to dry the milk up when you have your baby.

Emmsy1 · 16/02/2008 09:51

sparkly your pictures are lovely! I am not very pretty and have loads of 'crows feet' (I have had them since I was a teenager)
There probably more likely to be wrinkles now I will dig out some pictures of my 'tribe' and post them soon, will let you know when I have posted them!
I stayed in cardiff for 2 weeks (many years ago) it was when I lived in Aberystwth, a big crowd of us from work were sent on a Training Course, we had the time of our lives and had expenses paid! I vaguely remember a pub called the 'owain glyndwr' not too sure of spelling, we were drunk in there most nights ohh what memories, life before children!!!

fruitloop79 · 16/02/2008 10:00

Check out the latest thread on MAP grrrrrr, now I know everyone's entitled to start a new thread but a little sensitive on the conception page doncha think???

Emmsy no probs at all
My 1st sign of pregnancy is larger boobs, well it was with DS anyway. DP noticed and said "you sure not not pg" I thought he was being ridiculous! he he. Shame you couldn't have given me some of your (.)(.)s I'm definitely lacking in that department , I'm convinced the size of your (.)(.)s makes a difference when trying to BF.

MollieMooma · 16/02/2008 10:12

Emmsy thanks for the post re temping hun much appreciated.
Well after catching up with the HUGE amounts of posts last night I've been on ebay this morning and bought OPK's and early pg tests can't wait to start testing and temping, my dh thinks I'm talking in a different language bless!
Treats - where are you - dying to know if your the first BFP since I've been on the thread!! Come on!!!! No pressure of course don't you want you feeling bad

MollieMooma · 16/02/2008 10:16

FL just looked at the MAP thread, hmmm slightly insensitive and making me very jealous
Like you said wish I was that fertile!

Treats · 16/02/2008 10:30

BFN

Feeling a bit pooh and have been bitching at DH all morning. He's promised to take me out for some coffee and cake in a minute, so I'm sure I'll feel better after that.

We're going to the cinema this evening to see Juno. I've really wanted to see it all week, but now I'm not so sure.....

Still, I'm on day 25 of a 28/29 day cycle, so it might still have been a bit soon. Expecting AF on Wednesday, so if there's no sign of her this time next week, I'll have another go. Trying to put it out of my mind though, so that I don't get too hung up on the idea.

Thanks for your kind enquiries.

Emmsy1 · 16/02/2008 10:57

Treats sorry hunxx This was my first BFP at 10 dpo my hcg levels dont usually show up on any hpt's until AF late!(and there all making a terrible noise this morning!) fingers crossed X
fruits and mollie definately insensitive on a conception thread, it makes me think of my SIL who I do not like very much, she has 4 children and she has had approx 3 terminations that we are aware of!! (because she didn't plan those pregnancies!!) Her last child was only born last year, her terminations were before that,so it just didn't make sence? it makes me soo mad, I have never really agreed with abortion's but what she has done is down right murder!!

Emmsy1 · 16/02/2008 11:01

hope my strong views have not offended anyone?

mibbes · 16/02/2008 11:43

cece so sorry about MC and AF turning up - witch that she is . Hope the scan results bring some kind of resolution
Just looked at your pics too Sparkly, you and your daughter are both very pretty with your big brown eyes ! Am a bit scared of your big PG tum - yikes ! I just can't imagine my tum like that
ha ha Emmsy loving your pics of your test very helpful for future reference (hopefully)
Treats CB so sorry for BFN, but like Emmsy says you may well have tested too early - is that 10dpo ? I think it is more the exception than the rule to get a BFP as early as 10dpo - hold on there for a few more days missus, have everyhitng crossed for you hun
Oooh the MAP thread is a bit out of place on a ttc message board grr... silly insesntive woman - well done FL for sticking your tuppenceworth in !
MollieMooma LOL at you all excited with tests - I was the same, itching for cd10 to arrive so I could start peeing on sticks !
Nothing to report here - temp had shot up yesterday but back to normal post-ov temps so no cause for excitement , no symptoms atall, starting to feel like not my month and still have a full week until am tetsing - rubbish, 8dpo today.

Emmsy1 · 16/02/2008 11:55

mibbes on 2 occassions my temps didn't go up until implantation! Triphasic chart I believe? spelling prob wrong so there's still a chance for you this month, fingers crossed xx

mibbes · 16/02/2008 11:59

Thnaks Emmsy I was hoping the sharp rise yesterday was the start of the triphaseic rise but as it dropped back to normal again today reckon it was a one-off - poo . what dpo did you have implantation rise ?

SparklyMummy · 16/02/2008 14:07

Been swimming this morning so taking me ages to catch up!

FL The Villa is in Benissa which is near Calpe/Moraira..it's so beautiful out there are 2 tiny beaches 5 mins away and they are always quiet so LO can run up and down and we can see her. Our friends just moved out there in November..they used to live next door but they both retired in early 30s (he made a few million and sold up; travelled around the world with their young DC and finished up in Spain!)
EI I looked at the graduate list and saw your name lol...I got really confused!
Treats Sorry about your BFN but there is still time for you to get BFP. Hope cake made you feel better.
CeCe Sorry about AF arriving. What a cow! Sorry to read of your mc too.
Emmsy Glad you liked Cardiff. The Glyndwr is very close to my house. We live in Pontcanna Street..you might have visited when you were here as it's very central and lots of nice places to eat/drink?
Mibbles It's so weird having a big belly!! You forget it's there until you walk past a shop window and think "Oh my god - is that me? Check out EI's belly on her pics..also impressive.
Hi to everyone else I haven't mentioned and sorry for the long post!!
XxX

HI guys, it has been a while since I have been on her, well seems like it anyway. I am CD30 of a norm 28 day cycle but ov was 2 days late so not too excited yet. Also had dark brown spotting yesterday (sorry TMI) some more today, but much less.
Part of me is realistic that it is AF showing herself, in disguise. The other part is really hoping that it all goes away for ooh, I dunno, nine months maybe
Ah well, until she turns up properly I shall just wait. Am not doing any testing though, not much point if AF is round the corner.

That is such a shame for you guys who had probs with BF. I had probs getting going, ouch! I hadn't thought that a breast redction would affect it, shame they couldn't fix that bit whilst they were at it.
Poor you too FL Though I have a friend who is also not vey well endowed but she got on great with BF and no pain, grr
I wish it could work for eveyone though.

My poor DD has a cold and is teething at the same time, she is still sleeping after going to bed at 2.30 she norm doesn't sleep until at least 3.30. I don't know what to do with myself. Except knicker watch but I am really trying to cut down

piper1984 · 16/02/2008 19:07

Hi Everyone Never and Treats I had a BFN on sunday night and a faint BFP monday morning so there hope yet.

I've had no symtoms at all yet though which is getting me a bit worried, gonna test again in monday and then doc's

TF >
Really hope you get a BFP , i have everything crossed for you

Fruitloop was just looking at the MAP thread, this really not the place for a thread like that, your right, very insensitive

Emmsy1 · 16/02/2008 20:11

mibbes 11 dpo with one cycle and 12dpo with the other. This recent pregnancy just had a slow rise straight after 'O'? good luck mibbesy
NOAM I had a bit more CM and sore boobs, (although I usually have sore boobs before AF!) They do tend to hurt more now that I have had my BFP maybe it's pychological?? I really thought I was pregnant this time because my temps were staying high, In previous cycles I have had the odd day of high temps (usually because of too much alcohol the night before then they went to my normal post ov temps.
sparkly I cant remember the road where we stayed only that we used to cross over by a big stadium and we would turn right and our guest house was near the top of a very long road, (which seemed longer when you had too much alcohol!) When I lived in Aberystwyth, every year we would travel to Aberdare and have our sports day there, we used to have a fantastic time, and it would end with a disco, buffet and beer!

SparklyMummy · 16/02/2008 20:14

Emmsy That road is called Cathedral Road I think. There are lots of guest houses on it. My street is just off there ..if it's the same road there's trees on both sides of the road.

DD has a temp of 38.6

josiejellybean · 16/02/2008 20:16

hey guys ive been reading through your thread and would really like to join u guys. i have a dd born 3 months ago! but took us 4 years to concieve so decided to go straight for it this time and let fate take its course. this seems like a lucky thread so i hope i dont have to go through another 4 years.
