I have brought the list across, fluffed the cushions and put some nice tea to brew. I baked muffins and biscuits too, help yourselves.

Aw welcome Josie. I hope you don't have to wait another 4 years! They say you're more fertile after giving birth..i'm not sure how much truth there is in that but I hope it's true for you.

Emmsy1 · 17/02/2008 06:18

sparkly hope your DD is ok??
(it was definately Catherdral rd, I knew it as soon as I read the name!)

its officially 14 day past 'O' for me and my temp is still fairly high, so I don't think AF is on its way! just hope this bean is the stickiest ever, 07mumstheword don't really feel confident enough to graduate yet, but you go for it girl! xx

SparklyMummy · 17/02/2008 10:04

Emmsy She seems fine today but looks a bit pale. It's amazing how they pick up so quickly. My street is off the top of that road...it's the one with the cameo club on where you might have visited because it used to be one of the few places with a late licence. Fingers crossed for it sticky one for u. X

Morning all!

Hi Noam
That sounds unusual...was it chinese by any chance? There's a chemical in chinese (can't remember what is is called)...and it makes me feel like i've been eating sand too!
The bursting for the toilet sounds like a good sign...ur good listening to DH..i never listen to mine lol!

fruitloop79 · 17/02/2008 11:13

Morning,

OMG, So this is what a hangover feels like , I'd forgotten, ouch my poor head . Gosh, everythings so blurry!

fruitloop79 · 17/02/2008 11:16

Actually covered a lot of ground last night. Went to my mate's 40th, then we gatecrashed someones 60th then we went to a club with kids about 10 years younger than me

Hello josiejellybean Love the name , Wow, 4 years! had you been actively TTC for all that time? My DS took 3 years but we weren't actively TTC, just not using any protection, he was quite a shock really, a wonderful shock

TTCindisguise · 17/02/2008 11:28

hiya, can anyone help me on this thread please?

SparklyMummy · 17/02/2008 11:28

FL..sounds like a good night. I get killer hangovers..keep your fluid levels up. I think I prob always used to get hangovers but didn't realise how bad they were until DD because I got to sleep it off...here's to a speedy recovery!

fruitloop79 · 17/02/2008 11:41

Oh sparkly, I'm never drinking again. I feel awful. I got a lovely phonecall from DP this morning shouting at me cos I didn't call DS's friend's mum (where he stayed over) to see if he was ok. I bloody forgot! "morning to you to DP!" He did then text saying sorry and that he was on his way home and going to make me a nice lunch, well I hope so too!

TTCindisguise I don't know the answer to your prob I'm afraid but I'm sure someone will be able to help you! WHO ARE YOU!! Go on give us a clue

josiejellybean · 17/02/2008 11:47

hey yes we were activley ttc its a strange story really, we stopped using contraception 6 yrs b4 but only really started trying hard 4 yrs b4 iyswim! after a while we got chlomid off the dr but it didnt work and they wouldnt let us have IVF on the NHS (as my DH apparantly too old so we saved for a while to go private. when we turned up at the ivf clinic we had some blood tests etc and then a scan- when they scaned me they found i was 5 week pg! i couldnt belive it but they did say one of my overies was a bit funny looking so may not ovulate from it. so this time we decided to go straight for it and let fate take its course

SparklyMummy · 17/02/2008 12:44

TTC I don't know the answer to your thread either sorry, but good luck!

FL You can't be expected to do anything with a hangover...glad DP is going to make you lunch. I'm waiting for mine to bring DD back from his mothers so we can have some lunch.

Josie The exact same thing happened to our friends re: turning up for IVF and finding out they were already expecting. It's great that you know you can get pregnant naturally and I hope it happens ASAP for u.

Piper Ru testing again tomorrow?

EI HCB...where are you?

fruitloop79 · 17/02/2008 12:52

Wow, JJB. I've heard a lot of stories of people going for IVF then finding out they are pg. It's as if they just give up hope which seems to kick start the system. What a wonderful surprise for you after TTC for all that time

SparklyMummy · 17/02/2008 12:57

I wonder if it gives you hope or whether you just become more relaxed and wait for the IVF..and somehow being more relaxed and not thinking about it as much means that you get pregnant...does that make sense?

TTCindesguise it could be an ov bleed - I've posted on the thread for you.
Emmsy great that you are 14dpo and still have high temps - seems like a sticky one to me
FL night out sounds great, hangover sounds rubbish - am all too familar with them - although ttc has helped keep them at bay (well mostly !)
welcome Josie here's to super-quick DC2
never > how are you ? dehydration is definitely a sign ! are you going to test tomorrow ? Am very hopeful that this is your cycle after the "shadow" line !
How are (and indeed where are) my CBs ? Treats, EleveId and Oufton, anyone planning to test soon ? Any good symtpoms ? I have been very tired the past few evenings, burst into tears yesterday and got a spot - do they count as good symptoms ? Temps seem a bit lower than last cycle but trying not to put too much importance on that as only 2nd cycle of charting.
Hi Sparkly, Ei, Bucky, Fairy, MOB, PicknMix, glasto and all the waiting room regulars >

SparklyMummy · 17/02/2008 16:44

NOAM Take aways cost a fortune...some weeks we end up getting 1/2 a week which is not just bad for the bank balance but also for my wasteline!!
I'm hoping you are pg and not getting another cold!
I am using OPKs but all - up till now. Have been testing twice a day (morning and night) and am either on day 14/15 of 28-35 day cycle..hope they give me some indication soon because I never notice a chance in EWCM/pains.

SparklyMummy · 17/02/2008 16:48

Mibbles
They all sound like clear pg symtpoms to me...fingers crossed for u!!
NOAM I want spring rolls and satay but we're having salmon fillets for tea.

mibbes · 17/02/2008 16:50

Ladies, I posted this on the 2ww thread, don't think I posted it on here (apologies if I did). It is great for helping you invent more symptoms while on the 2ww ! Some of them are ridiculous but others are quite interesting. In fact never there is one specificaly about a shadow line on HPT
www.twoweekwait.com/web/early-pregnancy-symptoms.php

mibbes · 17/02/2008 16:52

Thanks Sparkly - the site I just posted has helped me come up with them ! It is interesting but puts yur mind into symtpom-overdrive !
Make sure your salmon doesn't taste of diesel ! If it does off to the takeaway shop for you mi lady !

SparklyMummy · 17/02/2008 19:12

Mibbles Shame it didn't taste of diesel...Had some icecream to compensate for lack of calories from chinese. Will check the site out now.

EiWishFor3MoreWishes · 17/02/2008 19:20

evening ladies
how has everyone been today?? and yesterday as i didnt get a chance to pop in due to my fab DH whisking me off for a romantic meal in town
