The TWW begins - testing 11/12 Feb.

Hi all

I’ve commented on a few threads but thought I would start a new one for anyone who may have ovulated over the weekend and now starting the TWW? Officially 1DPO today.

This is our first cycle trying to conceive #1. I came off the pill a few weeks ago, had my normal withdrawl bleed. Had flashing smileys last week with the static appearing on Saturday. I will assume I ovulated yesterday as I had a fair few cramps.

Anyone else in the same boat?

@LittleMiss2023 hi ovulation buddy! I’m also 1dpo today and it’s our first cycle actually ttc with #1. Also testing 11th of Feb but I might do some early tests a few days before cos I dunno if I can hold out?

I’m quite crampy today, actually needing a hot water bottle. But I know my ovulation is done bc my CM is thicker. I normally get sore boobs the whole 14 days before AF but nothing so far. Looking forward to hearing from others in the same tww!

Yay! I’m in the same boat - will try and hold out testing until the 11/12th, but I’m sure I’ll want to test earlier!

Going to have to try and keep myself busy these next two weeks! 😬

@LittleMiss2023 hey ☺️ 3dpo today. I’ve barely had any symptoms like not even my usual ones before af. I usually get very sore swollen boobs whole 2 weeks, but nothing so far. My only symptoms are I’ve had a crampy full heavy feeling in my uterus ever since 1dpo. Been using a hot water bottle (but not too hot) to soothe it, it feels like period cramps. So weird. Other than that I noticed I’m very wet? But not like in a sticky way, more just very watery. Really weird.

@Peachyplumm I feel alright - no symptoms at all. I’ve had sore/sensitive nipples the last week but they seem to be disappearing, maybe that was an ovulation symptom. Other than that - nothing! Weird that I kind of want some kind of symptom to see if anything is happening? I say that now, then would be wishing it away!

Good you also feel alright - for now. The wait continues.

@LittleMiss2023 4dpo today! Yeah it’s weird how there’s like no symptoms, I was telling my OH that it’s like a symptom in itself, but at the same time I feel like nothing is happening 😂 I know it’s early but because I’m used to every pms sign ever

How is today for you? My cramps were bad while I was sleeping and before I felt it in the centre but when it got sharper I felt it more towards the left. I read somewhere that it’s the tubes contracting to move the egg down, never experienced it before though! they’ve settled down today though as well as the full feeling. I also felt a pulling sensation around the sides of my breasts/under my armpit, really weird. Other than that I woke up with a sore throat but I think that’s unrelated due to heartburn/acid reflux, it was pretty bad last night

I'm 4dpo and have felt some cramping today. Not sure if it's just normal cramping I'd get as I have never tracked anything like that before. My heads been sore too but I suffer from migraines so could just be a coincidence but my migraines are under control with 3 monthly injections so I don't tend to get them.

I hate this waiting lol.

Hey hope you don't mind me joining. I'm 4dpo. Had ovulation pain from peak day and still feeling it now. Not painful just a dull ache on my left side. More irritating. X

Hope you don't mind me tagging on too. I'm 6dpo. Having period like dull aches in lower abdo and back since yesterday afternoon, I feel like I'm going to come on but not due.on for another 10-11 days and pretty regular.

@Peachyplumm 4DPO for me now ( Aus time). I still don’t have many symptoms, although last night I was getting a few on and off cramps, but they didn’t last very long! Hating the waiting game!

Age 35, TTC#2, Cycle #4
I'm on CD17. Think I am 2DPO.I have cycles anywhere from 28-34 days. My app says I'm not due to ovulate until this Sat 4th. But from my symptoms I'm pretty sure I ovulated 2 days ago. Pain in tummy, EWCM etc ... I don't do OPKs or temps etc ... were just going with a very relaxed approach atm. DTD throughout the month and hoping it will catch at some point.This worked for conceiving DS who is now nearly 3. We have decided this is our last month TTC for now. (Other commitments throughout Nov, Dec, Jan, Feb) If doesn't work will start TTC again in July time but then with the OPKs etc...Good luck everyone 🤞 xx

Thanks @LittleMiss2023 been TTC for 2.5 years. Done 6 months of clomid with no success and 4 months of letrozole and metformin on last cycle now and if no luck then it's a discussion about IVF.

Trying to keep sane in the TWW is horrid lol

Should word that better. Just cause you didn't see it doesn't mean you didn't have any 😊 and it's not bad if you don't have any. Can still get pregnant

No, but I’ve been tracking for months using a mixture of ewcm and bbt so think it should be fairly accurate (ish).

Given it’s our first month DH is convinced it won’t happen yet, I’m being slightly more optimistic!

@madeofcodes Welcome!! I also only noticed the slightest EWCM this month (like, once on a bit of toilet paper). I also had the peak OPK so hoping I did ovulate! Time will tell I guess.

@Mushroo Yay welcome. There are a couple of us on this thread who are in cycle1 of ttc#1 too! We can help each other out! ☺️

@madeofcodes i also didn’t have any ewcm and I had my peak (used the digital clear blue with both hormones). I actually rarely ever get ewcm :)

@LittleMiss2023 yep I'm feeling very emotional. Tbh I am quite an emotional person and had a lot if stress the past week but this morning just driving along got all tearful for a second then laughed thinking what an idiot lol
