The TWW begins - testing 11/12 Feb.

Hi all

I’ve commented on a few threads but thought I would start a new one for anyone who may have ovulated over the weekend and now starting the TWW? Officially 1DPO today.

This is our first cycle trying to conceive #1. I came off the pill a few weeks ago, had my normal withdrawl bleed. Had flashing smileys last week with the static appearing on Saturday. I will assume I ovulated yesterday as I had a fair few cramps.

Anyone else in the same boat?

I have a hen party this weekend which is going to be a nightmare. I ideally want to not drink at all but I’ll probably end up having a few.

It’s so tricky in this zone of not pregnant but also could be pregnant!

3dpo and slight boob sensitivity but I tend to get that anyway my each month

Have fun on the hen! If you're making a round of drinks and there's gin and tonic - try and pour just a tonic on the sly/ vodka + lemonade without the vodka 😂 etc. Might help between alcoholic drinks.

It’s so tricky isn’t it! I would say enjoy while you can, just don’t have your usual amount? Or just order mock tails if you can.
I have been slowly decreasing my amounts (and my friends have definitely picked up on it). Hard to know what to say when they ask!

@LittleMiss2023 exactly, I love a drink so it’s going to be very noticeable! I’ve just done dry Jan so I might just rely on ‘easing’ myself in.

It’s so hard because we always do rounds as well, so even more difficult to say ‘no, I don’t want to be part of the pornstar martini tree’ 😂

Going to just make each drink last as long as possible and skip a few rounds I think…

5dpo today, weird hot and cold flushes last night but okay today. Super craving for fish? I never eat fish. 😂 maybe just need the omega and vitamins. Boobs still not sore, cramps almost gone. I’ve been very wet though every day since ovulation and I’m never usually wet, it’s like watery (sorry tmi) rather than the usual thick/creamy before af. That’s it for me! Taking so long!

@Peachyplumm i feel like I’ve been wet as well (very watery!) but I could just be overthinking!

No fish craving although I did suggest fish for dinner, maybe it’s subconscious 😂

although it is quite nice being pampered by my OH who thinks I may be pregnant. If I’m not I wanna keep this going for the entire 2 weeks. Where are you ladies based? I’m in Scotland ☺️

This 2 week wait is a killer! I've had the most horrific migraine today but not sure if it's an early symptom or just one of my normal ones. I'm Scotland too!

I'm hoping so. I get 3 monthly injections for my migraines so they're pretty.much under control and I haven't had one this bad for so long. Will wait and see 😂😂

How is everyone feeling? I had this weird sharp pain under my left boob last night. Stung whenever I tried to take a breath. Only lasted a minute or two.

I'm based in the South West! @Jb2189 @Peachyplumm interesting to know about migraines. I really want to tone down my optimism! I was on the implant for probably 8-10 years and took it out in the autumn and given myself a few months before TTC so I'm not expecting it to happen on the first proper try. My 10dpo is next Tuesday so I'm going to try and hold out until then (she says) I've had cramps for part of the day, and still SO bloated.

@LittleMiss2023 oh lovely! My cousin is on a year abroad with her uni there in Melbourne but she’s been travelling around the east coast and she’s loving it. Her pics look amazing. Must be nice to be having that sunny weather right now while we are all miserable in the dark and cold here 😂 I’ve been gobbling down vitamin d. can’t wait for spring.

I also had a few sharp pains under my boobs!

@madeofcodes @Jb2189 ooh that’s so nice, I’m also 10dpo on Tuesday. Would be cute if we all timed it and posted our test pics. Is it too optimistic to think we could all end up with bfp’s? Haha. I’m trying to be realistic too and I’ve been doing well, but sometimes it’s so easy to get carried away 😂

Im on the east coast and usually it’s great! Today is going to be 36 where I am - not fun!

I wonder if the sharp pain under the boobs is anything related..of course we are questioning everything!

Here’s to positive tests next week! Still can’t decide when is best to test. I kind of want to test on Tuesday (9DPO) as it is my amazing doctors last day before her Mat Leave - and really wanted to see her before she left. But I think 9DPO may be too early?

I've been in and out a few threads on here but you all seem like my people 😂

I'm 5/6DPO with AF due around 10th.

Crazy sore boobs, highly emotional today, bloated with mild on and off cramps, creamy and sticky discharge which keeps me thinking AF has shown up early.

OH, and I have that random stabby pain in my ribs/under left boob.

Oh isn't TWW such fun...

@OnNaturesCourse Welcome! I think you have the most symptoms out of all of us here! 😂 you’ve got to keep us posted, sounds promising. Have you been TTC for long?

i noticed this evening my nipples have gotten really sensitive, quite sore to the touch, but nothing too extreme at this point

So it turns out that I can't count, my 10dpo is on Weds! 🤦🏻‍♀️ will post my test then! No symptoms this morning, how's everyone feeling today?
