Hey everyone!

Is anyone else trying TTC #1?

I think I’m 9DPO although my cycles vary from 28-34 days so I’m really not sure. This is my first cycle TTC so I haven’t tracked ovulation.

I took a clear blue ultra early digital test this morning and BFN, I’ve heard digitals aren’t as accurate, is that true? (The way the test was laid and how I was sat meant the ‘not’ was in the shadow so for a second I thought it just said pregnant, was gutted!)

Any advice on not driving yourself mad during the TWW? 😂

I'm also out, this is cycle 6, I'm SO frustrated.

Im thinking about taking some tests privately. Probably just basics to see if I ovulate

I get that desire too but then so many people say it's normal that it takes ages, even my doctor said not to come see her until it had been a year of trying with no success. I assume I'm definitely ovulating, I use strips and the Pre Mom app and I always have a peak. It's such an annoying process isn't it..

How's everyone doing? I tested Saturday at 9dpo and bfn and haven't tested since as I'm too scared to see the result! Think I will test Thursday or Friday , AF due any time from tomorrow. 12 dpo today and still no spotting which is crazy for me! Had a tiny bit of orange (random?!) discharge on Sat then nothing since. Confused! Hope you all had a good weekend xx

@Piglet34 ahhh sorry to hear you had a BFN! I’ve read 9DPO is most common for implantation and to implant before is actually pretty rare so definitely don’t be discouraged! Amazing that you’ve had no spotting!!

I’m chilling waiting for ovulation which I think will be Thursday. Only thing is my UTI came back which is kinda ruining fertile week 🥲

I think if this isn’t the month we’ll pay for some tests for OH and start there, even though this is only the 5th cycle, I’m impatient 😅

@Piglet34 sorry to hear about BFN but as @kalixxx said it's still early days so don't be discouraged! Keeping everything crossed for you 🤞

@kalixxx oh god nothing like a UTI to get everyone in the mood, have you thought about trying the Macaroot? Men can take it as well to help with sperm count and quality x

I’m just waiting around for fertile week to begin which is to start Monday (predicted by Premom so hoping it does).
I started Macca root yesterday so hoping that helps with egg quality and being in the mood to DTD every day of fertile week this month 🙈

@BexTTC 😂😂 I swear it’s the most uncomfortable feeling in the world, I’m like why now 😭 I’m tempted to start maca next cycle although I did read a couple of people say it threw their cycle off which worries me! How are you doing!

@Nmmck93 you’ll have to let me know if it helps with getting in the mood because I struggle with trying to BD everyday during fertile week 😅

@kalixxx i started a thread before ordering Macca root & people where saying they have used it and within the first cycle of using got their BFP so I will try anything, only one girl in the thread had a negative and said she won’t be trying it because it could worsen PCOS symptoms but I’ve seen so many videos from professionals say it helps with egg quality and stuff.
i’m hoping it helps with the mood, but as I said we’ll be on holidays with nothing else to do anyways so we said after a day at the pool we’ll come back to the room BD and then go enjoy the evening; neither of us will have work to attend and will be well rested hahah! I’ll keep updated on how it goes.

the only thing I can say, I took it for the first time yesterday and today I’ve had 3 bowel movements and it’s not even 11am 😂🙈

@kalixxx All good here 🥰 5 weeks +2 today, nothing prepared me for the leg and arm aches though lol

@Nmmck93 ooo ok that’s really good to hear!! I’ll give it a go next cycle as well! Did I read somewhere that you only take it up to ovulation and then stop?

@BexTTC that’s interesting, I’d not heard of leg/arm aches!! Is it starting to feel a little more real now?

@kalixxx no neither did I lol, I didn't expect my back and hips to be hurting so badly already either lol

It is! First appointment at the end of this month to register the pregnancy etc then first scan at 12 weeks at the end of June 🥰

@kalixxx yeah, I actually think @BexTTC told me when I asked her you only take it until you ovulate, I may be wrong 😂

@BexTTC awww! I didn’t know about the aches and stuff, I suppose anything could ache because your body will be prepping for little baby to grow 👶🏻✨

I'd rather have the aches than the sickness tbh which thankfully hasn't hit me yet, just super tired and achy, oh and the hunger! It feels like my stomach is empty all the time lol

Oh, I'm not going to lie, when I see a BFP on a pregnancy test for me the anxiety about sickness will take over, I have such a fear of vomitting🙈 but I know it'll all be worth.

Completely random but what ovulation tests are you ladies using? I only ask because I done 2 today and the easy@home was a dye stealer but the other brand had absolutely nothing and I remember struggling last cycle to find my peak with that brand so probably best to steer clear of Onestep

I use easy @ home, I was using those along with cheapies and could never find a peak on the cheapies ever and they where actually one step so I was glad I actually had the easy @ home to actually find my peak.

@Nmmck93 oh good! I think that's so bad that the cheaper ones done work properly tho as I'm sure there's lots of ladies using those and thinking they're not having a peak 😞

@BexTTC yeah I know. I used them the month before actively trying to try and get my head around how they worked ETC and never got a peak and had to go on ovulation pain kinda .so I invested in easy @ home and I'm so glad I did.

I use the clear blue digital one with the flashing smiley, not sure how accurate it is but I’m trying not to obsess too much over ovulation and just DTD regularly around fertile week 😅

So I think I just got my first BFP guys !! 🥹 am in absolute shock and trying not to get too excited as know stuff could still happen but at least it's a line for now! 💕
