Just wondering if there is anyone else out there trying for number 2? Fourth cycle in, having gotten pregnant quickly on 1st. I assumed it would be the same this time around but no joy as of yet.

Yes me! Currently in the tww of our second cycle trying for number 2. DD is 18 months and we were lucky enough to conceive her the first cycle we tried, so like you, very quick and I am not finding the waiting fun this time round!

I’m lurking at the moment but going to start trying next month. Just waiting for AF to arrive and getting my folic acid up. We got pregnant first last time too our LO is 2 this month. I’m really excited to get going now we’ve decided to try.

Thanks, I'd love a 2-3 year age gap, as I was 5.5 when my sibling was born and we didn't get on really until we were adults! But with the cost of living and nursery fees etc, if it takes longer to conceive it's not the worst thing in the world either.

You've just reminded me about folic acid, better get on that! Aiming to test end of next week, but I'll probably give in and test earlier especially if I get symptoms. With DD I was unbelievably nauseous which prompted me to test at 11DPO (I am not someone who loses me appetite easily!) So i'll see if the same happens again.

Hi folks I’m trying for my second, my eldest has just turned 4 and we had a miscarriage in September. I’m 10 days past ovulation today, nothing on tests yet but I think I’ve just had a super light implantation bleed !

So sorry to hear about your miscarriage @T4Opal but fingers crossed for you this month! Keep us updated. How long have you been trying for dc2?

3rd cycle in and no luck yet!
My DC is 2.5 years old and it took a loooooong time to conceive last time - cannot be going through that again 😪

@Parkopedia I’m trying to remember how I felt last time I was pregnant, it seems a life time ago! I definitely didn’t feel nauseous until much later. I tested super early too 10 DPO I think and had a super faint line. Did you have a good pregnancy last time? I loved being pregnant but it was mostly through lockdown and so was well rested most of the time.

I could do with getting a little fitter and healthier, I was very active last time but with the baby and work I never find the time now.

@T4Opal sorry to hear about your miscarriage, fingers crossed this is your month for baby 2! I’m awaiting AF due today and then we can get started next month.

Came off pill in September, took 3 months for AF to come back so currently in 2ww of our first cycle and AF due Saturday x

Yes, I am! Cycle 3 this month of trying and our DD was 2 at the end of September so pretty similar to you, @cdn298
Ive gone at it full on as it took ages and 3 miscarriages before we conceived DD last time so already on all the supplements and using OPKs/ trying to do BBT too but failing miserably as I never seem to get a good nights sleep!
Just finished af 2 days ago so building up to 's3x week' next week! 😂

So lovely to have other mums trying for number 2. Our DS is almost 14m. I always wanted a small gap but so far no joy after 3/4 cycles. I had assumed it would be easy to get pregnant as I fell pregnant easily twice (first ended in MMC unfortunately). Feeling a bit worried that nothing has happened. Going to start taking the pre natals more religiously and get some Accupuncture to help things along. Hard going when lack of sleep is also a factor.

I took this test yesterday at 8/9 DPO. Thought I could see a faint line when I did the test initially. Went back an hour later and it had faded. Not going to test again until tomorrow but in two minds about this test. The line came up in the 3min window but then faded so I wonder is it an indent? I forgot how hard the TTC journey is mentally!

@NewMomma21 hello! I am trying for baby no. 2. My little one is just over 2 years. We got pregnant straight away with my first and like you I am on cycle 4. I had a chemical last month so said I wouldn't test early again. I'm currently on my TWW having peaked for ovulation yesterday morning.

Sound so similar to our experience! It’s tough going. I wasn’t mentally prepared for TTC to take that bit longer. Sorry to hear about your chemical, hope you are okay. Will you test during the TWW? Hopefully this will be your month!

@NewMomma21 I'm going to wait the full 2 weeks then test. Although with my first I started feeling a bit iffy and took an aversion to wine so I might get a clue elsewhere!
I'm okay after the chemical but it was quite hard to stomach after being so excited! We had planned to tell family at Christmas too!

Hey all, I'd love to join you! I've just started taking folic acid etc so will be starting TTC in April when my DS will turn 2 💜 Took us 3 months last time but I'm 37 now so expect it'll take a fair bit longer.

We are TTC #2 as well. LO is 2.5. Im exhausted and not as fit as I was first time round but hoping it will happen. Currently on 5th cycle trying but conceived quickly first time round.

How many times are you DTD during your fertile week? Doctor said try 4x but husband thinks we should do everyday...

L@LeopardLover I’m similar to you just taking my vitamins and waiting a month or so, my DS turns 2 next week! Is there a reason your waiting until April?

I moved jobs in September so need to wait until at least March 4th 😂 very precise to qualify for the enhanced maternity package. I’m just waiting for AF to arrive so I can start tracking ovulation, I can have really long cycles so ovulation is a little tricky to predict.

Me! DS is 15 months and we plan to start trying next month. DH is waiting to start a new job so we can't try just yet as need him to qualify for paternity, I've been folic acid since October just waiting...

Me! I have a 12 month old. It took 16 months TTC for #1. I’m in the TWW after cycle 6, so if my period arrives, I’ll be moving onto my 7 month of TTC.

I’m already feeling emotionally drained from the experience and losing hope of conceiving relatively quickly! I was hoping it would be quicker this time.
