God, I don't 'arf'en rabbit on.....

popcornprincess · 13/02/2008 16:42

Anyone mind if I join in (have started own thread but am being ignored)?

Can any of tell me what ovulation pains feel like please? I'm not sure when I'm due to ovulate as I suffered a missed m/c 3 weeks ago. I've got crampy feelings and tenderness on one side. We have been ttc so could this be a pregnancy or AF on its way - oh i'm so confused.

Was hoping that one of you may be able answer this as some have been in a similar situation.

BeMyLilBaby · 13/02/2008 16:44

oh playin your an inspiration, and NJ your story is like a modern day romance type thingy!

you have all cheered me up! popcorn welcome i cant help sadly perhaps someone else might be able too sorry about your MC i know the pain of that loss x

NatalieJane · 13/02/2008 16:46

Hiya Pop Welcome

I've never had OV pains myself, I always go off the EWCM, so can't help you, but I am sure someone on here will know...

So sorry about your MC, I had one last month, it isn't nice

Good luck with the TTC'ing though

kayzisbroody · 13/02/2008 16:48

Hi Popcorn sorry to hear about your MC.
I've never had OV pains either.

NatalieJane · 13/02/2008 16:50

Pop I have heard of OV pains being described as crapmy on one side, but I don't think it is an indication of either pregnancy or AF. I'm afraid that is what the 2WW is for, waiting and second guessing.

popcornprincess · 13/02/2008 16:51

EWCM - do you mean cervical mucas? Sorry - new to this. I just went for a wee, wiped and nearly lost my arm it was so slidey!!! (TMI) - hoping thats a good thing.

lardylumps · 13/02/2008 16:51

Hay popcorn sorry I cant help you and so sorry for your loss too.

NatalieJane · 13/02/2008 16:53

EWCM, egg white cervical mucus. It is literally like raw egg white, clear to white in colour and very stretchy.

I had a link to a picture of it a while back (maybe on the other thread?) will try and search!

popcornprincess · 13/02/2008 16:54

Thanks NatalieJane

kayzisbroody · 13/02/2008 16:55

You could always get some of the OV test sticks, they might help but I have never used them.

Rightio I'm off, Mum has asked me round for dinner as dh is at work till 11 tonight. I might be on while Im there.
We're all excited as my brother is proposing(sp) tommorow. He has taken her to London and is going to do it on the London Eye, I hope she says yes!!

NatalieJane · 13/02/2008 16:55

NatalieJane · 13/02/2008 16:57

kayzisbroody · 13/02/2008 17:00

LOLOLOLOL

NatalieJane · 13/02/2008 17:03

Pop I think we all agreed it was the false nails that made it an appauling picture!

Playingthewaitinggame · 13/02/2008 17:04

Hi Popcorn, always welcome here, but again I can't help you having never been pg.

As for an inspiration guys, well thats a little OTT, I wouldn't say that . Much as Natalie has said (CFS/PVFS/CFIDS are all just words for ME, so she really does know) is the same for me. OK my DH and I did grow up together, we are the same age, we learn together. However, being ill, loosing what you consider to be your 'life' and many so called friends, does make you stronger and re-evalutate who your are and what a "sucessful" life means. I am very grateful for all the positive experiences it has given me. I honestly believe without it I would have been a very different person. I was due to take 12 GCSE's (and I already had 2) and wanted to be a lawyer. I was smart, impatient, wanted to be a success in everything I did, wanted a high flying career and was very "me me me". Then when everything I thought mattered to me got "taken" away and I gained everything that I didn't think mattered (meeting my DH, getting closer with my family etc) I realised I never really apprecated life and the people that mattered. I wasn't really living. So when people find out I have only ever had 1 boyfriend (whom I married), they think I haven't lived but my ME helped me see what really mattered in life and I have no regrets I got married young(ish) at all and having a family has always been a top priority.

lardylumps · 13/02/2008 17:04

Ah Romance I seem to remember what that was.

popcornprincess · 13/02/2008 17:06

WOO HOO - EWCM, positive. Red talons, negative. DH is in for some fun tonight - without that claw marks in his back

Playingthewaitinggame · 13/02/2008 17:10

Just bumped your post popcorn

lardylumps · 13/02/2008 17:10

O crap I meant about proposing on the London eye. I really am to slow at this sorry..

Playing you are an inspiration because you came out the other side smiling and fulfilled not everyone can say that. For some the experience could have made them bitter and self obsessed.

BeMyLilBaby · 13/02/2008 17:13

Playing i still think youre magic, actually i lurve you all deeply

my friend who i worked with had a little boy yesterday so i am much cheered up cant wait for my turn!!

Playingthewaitinggame · 13/02/2008 17:15

LL- (not calling you lardy). Maybe . If you get like that though you never recover. One of the biggest problems with ME is depression. Because people get so ill they naturally often get depressed, but if you are depressed if is much harder to get well. From a self-preservation point of view, you just can't get like that. You can only be positive. And I must say, spending time in a wheelchair made me see how lucky I was. If there was a step in the way, I could get out of my wheelchair, not everyone can. It honestly makes you see the world in a completely different light.
