cinnamontam · 04/02/2008 19:04

Hey all. Just been sitting next to a screaming DD for 1 hour trying to get her to sleep. No idea what the problem was - very very odd

kayzr · 04/02/2008 19:33

I've got a very grumpy ds. Absolutly nothing seems to be settling him today

largeginandtonic · 04/02/2008 20:08

You bunch of slatterns

I have been on chicken watch today, we got 6 yesterday. We have Henrietta and Gertrude, Penelope and Prudence, Betty and Maggie. We also get a free rabbit, carrots. (named by Hugo ds#4)

Glad you are all happy and perusing the catalogues I have mine dressed in t-bar shoes and romper suits with pram coats like thsi

NatalieJane · 04/02/2008 20:17

Why o why does mother nature do this to us??

largeginandtonic · 05/02/2008 07:03

Like this one

this too

kayzr · 05/02/2008 07:41

Aww how cute.
Why are men silly? I had a bad day with ds yesterday he was really grumpy so I didn't manage to get all the washing up done and dh came home and moaned about it. I said I'd do it today to which he answered "don't worry I'll do it when I get home from work"

HUH!! Am really confused now

NatalieJane · 05/02/2008 08:06

Morning all

LG&T, George had a little jacket almost identical to that blue one, think me and you are on the same wave length with baby clothes!

Also have been in baby shops, I don't feel so silly because I have DS2 with me!

Kayzr, leave it then, if he offered, let him do it, in fact go and dissapear, get a nice long relaxing bath or something and see how easy he finds it washing up and looking after DS!! Might curb his moaning for the next few days

CD31 today, no AF, think it is first time I have had TTC'ing on my mind but actually wanted AF to show up! Farking typical innit?!!

BeMyLilBaby · 05/02/2008 08:11

Hello!! god you've all been busy thank god i found you!!

xx

NatalieJane · 05/02/2008 08:19

Welcome back BB, good weekend? I am going to have to go, DS2 is still in bed asleep, DS1 isn't dressed yet, and we have to leave in about 25 minutes! Will be back after I have dropped DS1 at school.

BeMyLilBaby · 05/02/2008 08:44

Hi all

proper post now..

Well glad you've all been busy and I lurve the title of the thread. had such a gd weekend really lifted my spirits, seems likje you all did! what about playing how was your long one?

NJ any AF?LG&T i lurve the chicken names,i would quite like chickens myself are they easy to deal with? i was talking thru prams and i still cant pick... madness

so what are you all up to this week? sorry if i was a whinger last week...DP and i have decided that whilst im not gonna discount getting a new job if i see a suitable one, i think i'll end up seeing what happens in march and if i get signerd off stick to the original plan, bacause as its been said my job might actually be safer that way! hope youre all well x

NatalieJane · 05/02/2008 09:09

Glad you have sorted the job thing out, still on for end of March then?

Playing's not been back yet, I think she said she'd be back today so I doubt she'll be long!!

No AF here, wish it would hurry up though, starting to get very impatient now!

kayzr · 05/02/2008 09:28

Why is that before we decided to have ds I never had af pains then after I've never had them. But once its in my head I'd like a baby I seem to get them. Its like af's sticking its tongue out and going na na na na Im here!!

BeMyLilBaby · 05/02/2008 09:55

Lol at Kayzr

Yeah i think so NJ, im waiting to hear back on one job i was really interested in but provided i get signed off ill stay here and just hope i con. quickly then enjoy lots of paid time off he he lol i lovwed the conv about BJ's too!

NatalieJane · 05/02/2008 09:55

I think at times you seem get 'more in tune' with what your body is doing. It is like those first few days after you find out you're pregnant, you seem to feel absolutely everything moving and bubbling away in your belly, it moves and bubbles all the time, you just don't take any notice of it until you are thinking about a little tiny baby actually being in there.

What does everyone think of the name Liam? Not that I have spent the last half hour going through my old name book or anything...!!

kayzr · 05/02/2008 09:59

Liam is nice. I want either Imogen or Isobel but both my mum and mil dont like it and my friend had an Isobel at 9:30 this morning!! It makes me even more broody to hear her mum crying down the phone and to her Isobel crying in the background.

BeMyLilBaby · 05/02/2008 10:09

Lol i know what you mean i saw my goddaughter (AKA dreambaby ) yesterday, she is so angellic and easy going it makes me broody!!

NJ i think liams nice and would go with your other names, I like christopher, charlie for boys and lola for a girl i love the way names can be so different

Playingthewaitinggame · 05/02/2008 10:11

Morning all, NJ you know me so well already!! Just trying to catch up on all the chat I have missed! Great new thread!

Had a good weekend thanks, didn't do that much apart from prune the grape vines (it was finally dry enough) and potter round the farmers market on Sunday. And yes, I am a complete old fart!

Trade show was good, hard work and a v long day but good.

LOL about all the BJ comments. It seems as if nothing is really TMI here, I thorough approve . Agree with the not too keen on them statements. I think I actually get off pretty lightly though. DH does enjoy them but more to get him excited for more rather than as a complete event in themselves, if you know what I mean. So there actually ok, if you dont have to go all the way .

How was your long weekend BB?

Probably loads of other things I wanted to say but have loads of work to do as I was out yesterday and have just spent ages reading through all the MN posts, sorry if I ignored anyone!

Be Back later

kayzr · 05/02/2008 10:14

Its really quite funny, friends dp left her bag in the car. The maternity ward is upstairs so on the way down he decided to jump a few steps and broke his leg. So they're both in hospital now.
