Why does nearly everyone I know in rl either just had a baby, is pg or has just found out they are pg.
My friend has just split up with her dp as he wanted to settle down, she has just rang me to say she did a test and she is pg.

I do have have twins in the family, only on my side, and quite far away, my mums Aunt. We had a bit of a scare when I got pregnant with DS2 because I had got so big so quickly, and then I was feeling the first fluttery movements at about 9 weeks, we were convinced it must be twins, went into the 12 week scan (which was actually at 14 weeks) ready to be told there was two, but nope, luckily, just the one!

Glad you and DP cleared the air BB Any news on your Nan yet? Heard nothing from Playing, will search her name in a min see if she has posted elsewhere.

Kay, I think it is always the case when you have babies on the brain. I think you just have to remember that when you are waddling down the road and moaning of swollen ankles, back ache, and piles someone will look at you and think, 'Why is everyone pregnant while we are on cycle x and nothing yet?' 'Tis always the way!

Nope nothing from Playing since last Thursday....

Maybe as she could only post at work something has happened there that hasn't allowed her on? An office reshuffle so someone is looking at her screen? Or something.

Morning all,

I was trying to be good and read everything that I have missed when I have been sick but I have given up now!!! You guys chat far to much .

Did I miss anything essential? Apart from everyone's will power slowly draining away?

Right down to business CD2, no EWCM yet, thinking it might be too early to test, oh that and I'm still using contraception!!

The baby has the pox, dh is pickled and am waiting on Hug's... deep joy.

I want twins again next, so do the twins! I would get 8 in one pregnancy then

I did a test this morning and it was a BFN, boo sucks. I didnt really want an october baby, the twins birthday is October and 2 birthdays a month is enough! Could be too early to test is suppose and it was a cheapy ebay test.

Must do some baking today and make up some baby food, poor old Beau's stocks in the freezer are low.

How is everyone else?

I have no willpower at all, dunno how I gave up smoking at all.
It doesnt help when most of my friends are pg or just had babies.

That must be hard. Luckily I have no pg friends (on the downside that means I cant steal babies to play with for a while). All my are only just getting married or still single so are not at the baby stage yet.

My friend has just found out this morning she is pg after dumping her dp as he wanted to settle down and have kids. She is now in a mad panic wondering what to do

Kay i know the feeeling but im seeing it as an upside cos it means my baby wwill have lots of babies to socialise with and i'll have friends in similar situations

Playing you've not missed much...will power is waning, i think im about the only person who hasnt switched months!!

Playing, you have returned! You feeling better? I don't think any thing absolutely essential has cropped up.... Diege has changed her month so many times we are all getting travel sickness, BB has had some sad news about her Nan, but she is staying positive, LG&T'S family have the lurgy, and I think that's it. I think you should test, just to get it out of the way

LG&T, poor kids and DH, and you! It doesn't sound like much fun at the moment. Sorry about the BFN, time for it to change yet You do realise now you have said your don't really want an October birthday, it will happen! Keeping my fingers crossed for you

I can't find anything to buy that I like, I am trying to find things that will possibly expand a bit, but no luck so far....

I am feeling much better, still knackered and a bit poorly but feel human now. I haven't changed my dates, still holding out for Sept but yes maybe I should test .

Kay, thats really hard for your friend!! I think if it were me I would be panicing as well. Couldn't even imaging having a baby without my DH being there, mind you that might be due to the fact that he has always been there since I was 16 and would not know what it was like to be a single adult .

Yeah she feels really bad now as they have been together for 8 years both 25 and she still wants to go clubbing and go to ibiza every summer and he wanted to settle down and move in together and stuff, she hated the idea.
Ironicly(sp) she was taking antibotics(sp) and didnt realise they made the pill not work. She isnt sure if she should ring him while he is at work and tell him

God, poor girl. She will have to tell him but maybe work is not the best place to do it. Can you see them getting back together, now she will have to settle done, or do you think it was more that she was not ready to settle down with him?

I can see them getting back together she has rung me everyday in the week since they split up crying cos she misses him. She refuses to have an abortion so she will have to settle down now.
She has rung the holiday company to cancel her holiday.
