So sorry Morningpaper and Hula about AF- What a bitch she is! It's worse when it's late isn't it false hopes etccc Feel sh*t myself and am demanding tests from the dr's on Thursday - am NOT going to be content with "Go and try for another 6 months"
Tried to buy a persona today and found a small packet about 20 quid - test sticks but did not buy it as it said you need another product - but Boots did not seem to stock it. Can anyone help ? Do you need TWO boxes ? If one is the sticks what is the other one ?
Thanks girls !!!

jingleballs · 04/12/2004 17:01

marinda, for persona you need : one moniter (about £70 from boots) or £10-£50 ish on ebay, u can reset it as well so it makes no difference someone else has used it first. the firdt cycle you need two packs of the test strips £10 each (mine this first month are different lot numbers as well! - had I have waited until today I would have had two packs from teh same lot but hey there we go) each month there after you only need one box of the test strips.

Hulababy · 04/12/2004 17:05

(((hugs))) morningpaper. Sorry about AF.

jeddah · 04/12/2004 17:21

morningpaper... sorry about af...but like you say, sometimes it is a relief, as at least you know what is happening.....its the not knowing and the 'what if' and 'maybe' thats the killer.

Just off for a nice bath, wine cooling in the fridge, dh just finishing off a job on the farm, wood burning stove lit and the salmon is marinating in Thai coconut, lime, chilli and garlic........so until tomorrow....have a good night girls

mistletooksandwine · 04/12/2004 18:26

HI, tooks here.
Just wanted to say goodbye to you all. I am giving up my job to become a SAHM and will have to give back the company laptop! We are moving to our lovely new house, I will be able to devote all my time to dd. and I hope the slower pace of life and less stress will do wonders for ttc!All the best to all of you on this thread. I sincerely hope that it all works out for you and that if I get to a computer sometime in the new year you have all moved onto a new antenatal thread.
So, I won't be able to tell you if and when I do manage to get pg, but will send airbourne babydust if and when it happens.xxxxxxx
Have a wonderful Christmas and a great 2005!
love Tooks xx

Tania2 · 05/12/2004 01:57

Oh tooks so sorry to read that you will be leaving us but on to a great begining. It is just wonderful being a SAHM but do make sure you have plenty of friends or mums groups that you can visit cause sometimes it does get alittle brain numbing without the itelect stimulation that you get at work but i wouldnt change it for the world.
Best of luck to you and hope that you fall pg really soon. Hope you can pop in now and then it would be great to hear what you have been upto.
Best Wishes always
LOL Tan

Tania2 · 05/12/2004 01:58

Cocknzie my ds has just turned two. Stuffed if i would get up at 5am i struggle at 7am wont your bubs go back to sleep???

Hulababy · 05/12/2004 09:46

cockensie - pains dying a bit today, but not comfortable. Not as heavy either, but also not normal in some ways too. They've been a bit odd since coming off pill.

jeddah · 05/12/2004 09:49

morning girls......just off for brecky

jingleballs · 05/12/2004 09:52

Cockenzie - It's hard, but u get used to it, and basically just get on with things, when he's at home in a weird way you look forward to him going away again as DH gets frustrated if he's only on camp working as he feels it not part of being a 'real' soldier! I'm sure most Milarty wives would agree with that!

Sorry to hear about AF for u. she's a right mare that one! ((hula)) hopefully the pains will go away in time from AF, i'm fairly lucky now, as I ahve no pains at all, (only had a few months of them when first coming off the pill - naturally convinced my slef was PG every time!)
Still 2nd coat on the hallway today after i've tidyed my mess of a house up!

jingleballs · 05/12/2004 09:53
