{{{{{{{{hugs}}}}}}}} Cokenzie. Yeah, it's me that's in Aberdeen and it's definately freezing up here. Going to brave the crowds later this morning and try and get the majority of what's left of the Christmas shopping done.

Twiga · 04/12/2004 07:32

Here's a link for ff website - fertility friend think you just need to sign up and take it from there

cockenzie · 04/12/2004 07:50

Tania2 · 04/12/2004 08:00

Well good morning girls.
Well still no signs of af which is due in 4 to 5 days usually by now i am analizing every body function i do have a tinsy winsy bit of tender boobies but that is def normal. You know this is a little crazy but its is so good not to be stressing about if iam pg or not and iam just so relaxed about af arriving a little thou as it is another month gone by but i really couldnt help it if i didnt ov hay! really relying on the op on the 15th started a thread asking about success stories so that has given me hope.
Happy xmas shopping girls.

Cokenzie, on cycle 7 of my ttc journey. Been married for just over 3 years and we're trying for our first. Pg in July after just two cycles of ttc, but unfortunately mc at just over 6 weeks. Cycles have been all over the place since mc until this month with things finally getting back to a regular 29 days (ususally around 28-30) - so am hopeful have a better chance this month! Don't chart, temp etc but do use the babycentre website to calculate ovulation (type in date of af and cycle length and it works it out), and this month have put dh in charge of all the dates, worrying etc as was starting to stress too much. Am I right in thinking you've already got one child and are still bf? Have you been ttc long?

Twiga · 04/12/2004 08:05

Hey Tania {{{hugs}}}. How's your day been so far? Also been meaning to ask how the whole sleep thing has been going with ds recently, did you crack it in the end? We'll all be thinking of you come op time and really hoping it helps things, lol x

Twiga · 04/12/2004 08:24

Right, time for me to get off the computer and back to the housework - have got the cleaning bug - determind to have shiny house before the decs go up and while I've got the time off work to get it done. Then to the shops, not forgetting Starbucks for that all important Gingerbread latte!

cockenzie · 04/12/2004 08:26

twiga -

got just about the same story as u
been with dp for 3 years (next 22 fb)
m/c in summer at 8 weeks and ttc again last apr.had kyla in feb (hubbys birthday present as she was born on feb 6 and his feb 8.i am feb 15
)all aquarians!!!!!our first aie.but brooding so much again.tried again when she was 3 months but didnt know my cycles were going to be like that.and feel a bit like tanya2 cos my body is beginning to talk to me again and although i am lying when i say i am fairly relaxed cos i am driving myself mad... but just pretending.

how is ur dh about all those dates ? does he belive in any of it?

cockenzie · 04/12/2004 08:27

hi Tanya
wish your mood was rubbing on all the girls here

cockenzie · 04/12/2004 08:29

twiga - what work do you do?
true that aberdeen is the grey city? would haveloved to work there (was working in london before for an oil company.would have been nice to work in the capital of oil) but its time for babies now

cockenzie · 04/12/2004 08:34

aie still b/feeding.ttc for 6 months.only ttc for 3 months when had baby
keep fingers and toes crossed for u

Twiga · 04/12/2004 08:59

Cokenzie, dh is fine about all the dates, is a Dr so knows about cycles and stuff anyway. He isn't into all the temping and stuff, mainly coz doesn't want us to stress too much just yet. Both of us really want a baby and he is well up for anything that might boost our chances - we tend to try a bit harder over "fertile dates" but just see it as part of our normal routine.

Aberdeen is a very grey city what with all the granite buildings especially this time of year when the sky matches! Very pretty in the summer as the granite sparkles in the sun (when it puts in an appearance). Good city, shopping not bad, plenty good restaurants etc and only have to drive 10-20 mins and you're out in the country areas - some excellent restaurants in the smaller towns nearby (especially if you like seafood) and great hill walking/forest walks to be had locally.

I'm a social worker by trade - work in a children's home, so do shift work usually 2pm one day until 2.30pm the next, sleeping in, although how much sleep you get depends on how settled the unit is. Am thinking about a change soon as although love what I'm doing, can be very stressful and difficult, plus with dh working shifts too it's hard.

Twiga · 04/12/2004 09:00

And, like you say, "it's time for babies" - intend to be a stay at home mum.

jingleballs · 04/12/2004 09:11

hi all, i've just had my first test stick with persona and got a nice red light up! (thought I was in my fertile period, (CM seems to be thining, but AF only finished on thrus then diff CM next day.... is that normal?)

does any one know how long the fertile period lasts for?

Morning all, ur an early bunch today!

Tania2 · 04/12/2004 09:14

Thanks for asking about the sleep thing Twiga well yes it has worked he sleeps in his own bed all night now may wake once and calls out for me and asks for milk (yes Jeddah iam still giving him the milk ) only 30mil so not really much. last night i was up a bit more than usual just tried him again on cows milk (used to get upset tummy when he was 1 so i changed him to soy but was told that sometimes they grow out of it when they are 2) now he is all mucasy (sp) so back on soy milk. will try again in 6 months.
Twiga it is nice being a stay at home mum hope you get the chance soon.

I know mrsfogi mentioned that you need to have regular cycles........sorry matey don't want to throw the cat amongst the pigeons...but actually, it is the opposite, its great if you are irregular!.... as long as you have cycles

Hester - sorry but i know everyone's different but how long did you bleed for ? I started yesterday and have horrible pains .I know it can go on for a couple of weeks but am worried the majority of it comes way and i'm at work or something - Is it like that or is it gradual?

Sorry to ask these questions .

Hope the rest of you are all well - at least you have another "oldie" joining you again !
