Hulababy · 12/12/2004 19:43

jeddah - my purse and wallt were stolen whilst shopping on Friday - from bottom of a zipped up pram bag, whilst I was stoof next to pushchair with my hands on same handle as the bag. Must have happened in sace of 2-3 minutes, right under my nose.

cockensie - Dh was able to stop my cards within 15 minutes of it disappearing so they didn't have chance to use them, and I had no cash on me at all.

No news here yet as not even OV time. Only on CD9. OV normally around CD15-17. Temping not as accurate this month either, as still not found my BBT thermometer. Just using a normal digital thermometer - but only records to one decimal place. Better than nothing I guess though.

On a good note though, looks like we have found a new house to buy. Won't be ready for a year but we will rent in same location until then. Feel very excited about it all.

fastasleep · 12/12/2004 19:46

Hi ChaCha! I'm newish :) Good luck Cockenzie... and I'm so sorry you're having such troubles with cancer and your family colinsmommy Sad hugs if you're out there Hester, I'm still thinking of you!!

I like that 70% cocoa choccy...forget the name though...doh lol

My thought for today is - I'm going to get pregnant this month :o... and yes girls I'm quite sure this is/was a m/c, last night was agony! Cocodamol Envy

fastasleep · 12/12/2004 19:51

On the family thing, my mum kind of disowned me... and then I disowned her; they're always generally disowning somebody! I haven't heard from any of them in a while... don't know if you feel the same colinsmommy.. but, it's like I don't quite belong anywhere sometimes, I guess this is what it feels like to be an orphan except, you know they're there but they just don't want you around... it's almost like actually losing them to something like cancer in the first place, iykwim... (I recently lost my gran to lung cancer, so I know what it's like too, although she completely refused chemo) Sorry for the weird rant then! Blush

Hulababy · 12/12/2004 20:06

We also have a big height difference between me and DH. I'm 5 feet nothing. DH is 6 foot 1.

Twiga · 12/12/2004 20:24

Evening all, not much chat here, still feeling rubbish. Hula, sorry about your purse, good that you were able to stop cards so quickly, pretty inconvenient though Angry Colin, can't imagine how difficult things must be {{{hugs}}}, lol x Another tall husand here 6'5", not too bad a difference as I'm around 5'10".

jingleballs · 12/12/2004 21:16

god twiga - ur tall. hmm (now I feel like a right midget!) :o he he he

Tania2 · 12/12/2004 22:08

Good morning girls.

Coin sorry about your sister and your family situation. Take it you were kinda banished when you didnt follow their choice of religion.
ChaCha welcome back glad to hear that there wasnt much endo and only 1 cyst. My last op was 10 yrs ago they found over 25 cyst on my right ovary and only a few on my left and of course some endo quite nervous on what they may find this time being so long and all. How was the recovery time and why are you waiting till the new yr to start ttc again isnt it better to start straight after the bleeding stops? my gyno wants me too says that there is a higher chance as iam due to ov not long after the op. fingers crossed. Can you fill me in on all the details, pain etc of your op. If you dont mind.
Hula wow brand new house lucky you. will you be able to choose carpets colours etc. ohhhh how exciting.
Fastasleep sorry about the mc but i do suggest you still go to the doc's so it is noted that you have had a mc just in case.

jingleballs · 12/12/2004 22:35

Tania2 · 12/12/2004 22:39

jb i think they keep comming back but have been told that cyst are very common most women get them. i assume thats why i get pain in my right ovary when i ov???? not much pain in left when i ov??? who knows will soon find out on wednesday thou

jingleballs · 12/12/2004 22:40

oh right didn't know that, well fingers crossed for you anyhow. how r things over there apart from that? Is it a one day op, or will u be in hosp for a few days?

Canadianmom · 12/12/2004 23:59

Hello all!
It was, indeed, my dh that came back yesterday. Jet-lagged and incoherent but here! YEAH! So nice to have him home.
Was trying to remember whay cd I am on now but I am not sure...How silly is that? I must be getting old as I can't even remember if af was before or after my birthday...
I am also 5'10" and dh is just shy of 6'. I had a friend at Uni who was quite vertically challenged and he used to say that belly buttons always line up in bed!

Looking forward to hearing about your news. Particularly Kizzy and Hester. Waiting for BFPs for both of you.

kizzy212 · 13/12/2004 08:30

well girls sorry to disappoint but BFN this morning but still no AF.

Hulababy · 13/12/2004 08:31

Fingers crossed all goes well for you on Wednesday.

Yes, we do get to choose kitchen, bathroom, etc. No carpets included but we will have them done as optional extras. But won't be for a while yet.

Hulababy · 13/12/2004 08:35

:( about BFN Kizzy. Could it still be too early?

RudyDudy · 13/12/2004 08:50

Hi all, sorry about BFN kizzy Sad fingers crossed it is just too early...

(((Colinsmummy))) what a strange time it must be for you...so sorry to hear about your sister, it must be so hard with the lack of contact. Glad your DH is safely back with you. How long have you got him for?

Sad fastasleep - I agree with Tania that you should probably be checked out by a Dr. Sending you lots of (((hugs)))

JB - how was your weekend? Hope you got spoilt rotten!

Oh, and just so you all know we are the very boringly average heighted 5'8" and 6'.

Lots of babydust to all ~~~~~*

RudyDudy · 13/12/2004 08:52

Good news about your house hula - it must be lovely to get to choose stuff before you move in and then have it all waiting for you! I've only ever lived in old houses which are great but do always need stuff doing to them which can be a pain.

ernest · 13/12/2004 08:53

This has been a sad thread recently - Kizzy & Hester, really hope you get the good news you deserve - have you bought a test yet, kizzy? You going to test today?

sorry that af finally came Tania, but hope it didn't spoli your w/e - running to the loo that often can't have been too much fun tho', wherever you are.

ad fastasleep, sorry your news was bad too, nice to hear your dh looking after you.

And colinsmummy, so sorry about your sister, hope she recovers well from this cancer - 2 in 2 years - not fair is it?

Sounds like most of you are in need of some serious tlc - blimey, purses stolen, house sales falling through, family feuds, illness, miscarriages, truly horrible. ((((hugs)))) to you all. this thread is great tho, to have so many people to turn to when things are tough.

good news to hear your dh is back safe & sound, Canadianmom, hope he's there to stay for a while? You & the kids must be made up.

Lets have more good news

fastasleep · 13/12/2004 09:16

Hey... good luck vibes to Hester and Kizzy!!... I think I'm going to docs for some iron anyway flops over :) thanks for the concern girls but I feel strangely...ok.. for now! [confused look]

hester · 13/12/2004 09:25

Morning all. I have completely lost my marbles. Have spent a fortune on First Response tests but so far all BFN (af due wednesday). Meanwhile, am getting all these symptoms:

nausea (worse when hungry or tired)
metallic taste
sore boobs (on and off)
bobbly nipples (not the medical term for it, I'm sure, but you know what I mean)
early morning wakefulness (don't know if that's significant, but it happened to me last month)

I've also NOT got the typical bloating and cramping I usually get before my period, but of course it could just be that I'm going to get af later this month, as it may not be a typical cycle due to mc.

I also think I have a low-level bug, so that could be causing the nausea.

I could also just have gone completely crazy, and be replaying what happened last month in my head.

Don't know how I'm going to get through the working day.

Don't know how I'm going to get through this week, specially if I get my period. I actually can't bear to think about af arriving.

Oh, and chocolate isn't working!

hester · 13/12/2004 09:27

Welcome back ChaCha! Nice to have you back.

jb - I can't believe your dp said that to you. You must have felt devastated. So glad you gave him the sack.

Colinsmommy - so sad for you and your sister. Big hugs.

fastasleep · 13/12/2004 09:28

Awww Hester!!!! massive hugs I'm sending good luck vibes to you all day!!

hester · 13/12/2004 09:31
