Thank you to all who expressed concern about my sister. This is the 2nd time she's had her cancer in less than 2 years. It is a very fast growing cancer, it doubled in size between the few days the took the ultrasound and she had the operation. She had surgery to insert a port for the chemotherapy, and lost the use of her arm, but it is coming back. She will have to go through what the dr. describes as "about the most grueling chemotherapy possible" in order to have a chance to get rid of it. It is hard for me, because my family doesn't have anything to do with me, I couldn't believe they let me come up to see her the once last week, but now they just e-mail me with the details. She is only 24. Sorry about ranting, after all, this is a TTC thread.

I have the feeling I usually get when AF is coming in a few days, so it looks like this isn't my month.

I hope you get a BFP, Kizzy.

colin......so sorry to hear about your sister! I gave chemotherapy to children for 7 years and spent most of the time wondering if there is a god!

Your family situation sounds complicated! and you say that 'they allowed you to see your sister'............what about what your sister wants!!!!! surely it should not be up to them...but up to your sister! (but I know there is nothing so complicated as family!!)

Just wanted you to know that you and your sister are in my thoughs!

Thanks, Jeddah. I didn't really explain it very well did I. Its their religion that won't let them do anything with me unless there's an emergency. It is what she wants, too as she is really into it.

I suppose the thing is,.....is to accept....accept what will be, will be and move on. Far easier said than done! {((((HUGS}))))

Hey everyone!!!!
I'm back after weeks and weeks of being away. Had laparoscopy number two and cyst was removed and thank god, there was only a spotting of endo this time.
Not quite ready to TTC yet, probably be sometime in Jan. I am refusing any type of fertility drug this time but am going to start on the organics and get fit! What do you think?

Fingers crossed eh? am now nearing the big 30 :(

i have been on a piss up journey today.hehe
i am just scared about the waiting game now as i feel i am walking on raw eggs.well, it feels very sore and tender down below, which i never had b4.so i am indeed a bit scared.but we shall see.

took a while to catch up with the posts today.

Kizzy - how long for ur bfp?anyone else. i am sorry that i probably fotget a lot of people.2 days of post it too much to catch up, but sincerly hope that all pbs sort themselves out.its no time for xmas for anything to go wrong (althou u cant help life)

Colmum - (sorry i'll stop using CM as it sounds rude Blush), firstly, u have my thoughts and preyers hon, I'll be snding you whateva streght and courage I can muster from within to help u with ur sister - familys eh - can't live with em, can't live without em! seriously thou, like jeds I know the loss of cancer, is your sister accepting the medical advise/ treatment and reasponding well?

secondly - just cos this a TTC thread doen'st mean we don't still care about other issues. etc.. so if u wanna chat about it there's always someone here to listen (read) or whateva. (whispers u just might need to wait for a few hrs with the time delays etc..)

and thirdly - I did have a third.. what was it... oh yeah was it ur DH who was back last night or was that canadian mum? (looks confused?) can't remeber but if it was u.... u.....u... lucky thing u....! Wink

Cha Cha - welcom back hon, we don't know what's happened to Becki, so if u see her, say hi, and we're asking after her.

Cocenzie - Blush er, choc - I eat any hon, plain milk white, tastes the same to me! i'm not too keen on the thorntons ones thou (i'm not posh a nice bar of dairy milk does me! lol.) and as a result - I weight... (drum roll please) er.. I don't know tbh, aprox 10 stone Shock (Gasp the horror!) now i'm a size... a size... a size....12 :( (now wailing at teh top of her lungs) it's sooo depressing, thou I can still fit into some of my size 10 stuff :o

i am just the same as u dear jb.used to be a nice pear shaped in a size 10.now a round pear shaped in a size 12.never lost my bump which is welcome to come bak! a nice 9 months bump! if its the same as dd i will look like a balloon.just imagine a 9 months bump on a 5'1.u get the picture? well u can laugh ur head off.
