hi, i'm new here - have been reading your thread.
I have 3 dds and don't want any more, but thought i'd pass on advice given me by specialist for bonniej
I had been off pill 2 years & nothing had happened so we had various test & I went to see specialit. He suggested that I used clear plan ov kit (from same people as clear blu test kit). It was easy to do - just followed instructions. He said when the kit said "GO" we should do BD 6-8 times in the following 24-48 hours. This worked for us the 2nd month we tried and then again 1st month we tried for 2nd & 3rd dds.

Yes, jb i've got two children one ds who's now 16 (years, not months) and a little dd who's 18 months old. I know huge age gap but would like just one more so dd doesn't grow up like an only child as ds did. Thank you so much for the welcome and all the helpful advice. I will probably be a regular poster on here now. Have already wasted a fortune on pg tests over the last few months. Have HUGE ironing pile that doesn't seem to be going down while I'm on here, so going to go now. Thanks again and speak soon Smile

I bought it in a local chemist - can't remember if boot or lloyds, but it was easy to get (my youngest is 3, so i last bought a kit about 4 years ago)

right so when you OV it's safe to BD that many times? - will his stock not deminish as it were? u know what i'm gonna be doing next time I OV.. it will be DH book 3 days off work love ur luck is in! Wink

Bonniej, everyone ov at different times......some people ov the same cycle day every month but it is very common to ov at different times...that is why it is good to get a OPK. or natrual methods like CM.

Bonniej!....BD,ING 6-8 TIMES IN 24HRS...IS A FRIGGIN WORLD RECORD...OR YOU ARE ON SPEED OR YOU HAVE OVERDOSED ON VIAGRA!!!!

This will dilute the sperm........once per 24hrs is just about right...the secret is to have the sperm waiting there for when you ov!

lol, aww jed (sorry can be a bit defensive at times a bad flaw - not offense intended) don't worry hon, i'm doing ok the wives tend to pull together really, it's 4 hrs to get home, so it's not too bad. - apart from bloody dial up conection!)

the week is fine cos i work FT, (and the night's i'm on here - normally talking to DH) and the weekend is with the girls or painting! lol.

Hi girls i know you are all sleeping but need to tell someone. My af has stopped Shock it must have been just spotting i admit it was very dark brown ish but there was alot so i asumed it was af. i did a pg test this morning b4 it arrive but it was a BFN now iam back on the waiting game for it to arrive but because i have done the test i cant get excited that i am pg. Sad

ooh, tania, talk about nail biter, hope you get an answer soon, bad enough af coming, but then stopping & bfn - mental torture or what.

word of caution about ov dates from the web sites. i looked at a few where you put in cycle length etc & got quite few diff windows to point where only 1 or 2 days overlapped, so one web site might say fertile bwn 1-5 and another from 4-10, so I guess you should still bd for as long as poss just to be sure

sory to be SSOOOO rude bonnyj.welcome as well.
i bought yesterday the clearblue ov test.they r good indeed and not xpensive for 7 stiks.£18.or giv dh lots of garlic (aphrodisiac) and he'll rape u every day 4 times.i tried with dp but he got knackered.
please dont do like me where i chase dp everyday and he said it was a put off for sex (althou he is xpecting me to be like mother teresa)and get pregnant with a magic wand.its too frustrating cos u plan ur days but he doesnt follow and bang ur hopes.but hope to overdose on sex at the weekend cos he wont be tired then.

I hope I don't offend you cockenzie, or maybe everyone will think I'm being up-tight, but i feel v. unconfortable when you talk about your dp 'raping' you, or saying you can 'rape' him, when you just mean wild sex/bd'ing. would you mind just using a different word. The word rape is just too much for me, especially in this context.
