Morning all,

You can add me to your waiting game list if you like but I'm not sure of my chances this month as I think we missed the big O due to dh being away last week. Anyway, we did have a very nice wedding anniversary of Friday so that was another roll of the dice (oooh, I'm sooo embarrassed BlushBlush).

I'm on cd20 so roughly in tune with you all. Hopefully these last 2 weeks of term are going to fly by (so much to do - anyone written Christmas cards yet?) so I won;t get to obsessed by every twinge.

Fingers crossed and ~~~~~~~~~ to all.

Wifeof xx

StNickschik · 06/12/2004 11:00

Thanks everyone - fat lady not singing yet but then it's only 10.50 am and she usually comes later in the day. Trying not to get hopes up as am 99% sure I'm not preg but still can't help that 1% of hope! .... Jeddah I'm 14 days dpo!
Don't have the usual pre-af sore boobs which is unusual but maybe that's more down to diet changes than much else. Was feeling a bit queasy yesterday but probably pre af! - ahhhhh!!! - what's happening?

Tania2 · 06/12/2004 11:12

Hope af doesnt arrive nicks best of luck to you.

Chuffingoodtime · 06/12/2004 11:17

BFN on Saturday morning. Thought I may have fluked it as was feeling decidedly nauseous on Thurs/Friday.
It isn't fair I so want to get preggers again but don't want to finish breastfeeding either I enjoy the morning and evening feeds. I can't help but think that it can't be causing no af.

RudyDudy · 06/12/2004 11:24

Hello everyone! Haven't been on in ages - internet connection vanished and I've been a little under the weather - and so have completely lost track of everything.

But from a very quick glance I see big congratulations are in order for Geordie Grin That's wonderful news.

Are there any others I've missed?

I'm CD21 and possibly Ov this weekend or even today but haven't had any signs and as it's my first month with persona no useful info there either. Despite my exhaustion have somehow managed to BD a few times over the weekend so you never know. DH is out tonight but has promised to be home early so we can BD again if I'm still awake!!

Hope all are well. RD xxx

hello all,

good luck to everyone and congrats to others!

Sorry about only being able to dip in and out of the TTC thread. My AF is due this week so fingers crossed it will not show up. Am having one of the days after one of those weekend, my grandpa died on friday, he had been ill for ages so it was not a surprise but still very sad. My mum is very upset but I am ok I think, however saying that, I took dd to a singing class and I really did not want to be there or to talk to anyone for long - boy some of them must have thought I was being a real b*tch.
Funny how I don't want to talk about it but am happy to put it on mumsnet!

jeddah · 06/12/2004 12:21

so that yingers74 and wifeof added to the list!

Cockenzie....its a difficult one..

Let me see if I have this right,
She eats 3 meals aday and breast feeds only to go to sleep?

To be honest.....because she is 10 months old she still needs milk, breast or formula (cows milk at 12 months). She needs at least 16-20 oz per day for growth and development so if you stop the breast feeding then.......you have to put formula in its place? is this ok with you?

You don't need to use a bottle, a cup will do.
Because she uses the breast for nutrition and comfort, it is prob best to knock the day feeds out first and leave the first thing in the morning and last thing at night.

Does she have a dummy?

Twiga · 06/12/2004 12:56

Sad yingers, sorry to hear your news about yor granpa, {{{{{hugs}}}}} to you and your family, lol x x x

alterego · 06/12/2004 13:18

I'm also waiting for the fat lady to sing - cd 28, ov. on cd 15 or 16, usually have 27 or 28 day cycle but may be up the spout following mc. Few nagging pains so fairly sure she's on her way.

yingers74 · 06/12/2004 13:55

tah twiga Smile

runtus · 06/12/2004 14:02

Afternoon all, long time no post! Been snowed under here and then at the xmas party on friday night (got home at 3am!) so not really had a chance to post. Fab new thread and I think there is some good news to celebrate? If so, well done girlie - proud of you!

Finally got a call from the dr today to say he has written me a progesterone hormone prescription, which should bring on a period. On day 2 I can start my Clomid finally!!!!!!!! Hurrah!!!!!!!!!!GrinGrinGrinGrinGrinGrinGrinGrinGrinGrinGrinGrinGrin

As you can see I am quite pleased!

jeddah · 06/12/2004 14:38

Ahhhhhhhh! Runtus so chuffed for you Grin at least you can start the clomid!!!

Can I ask you, why they started you on it, I know it can be for women that have trouble OV but I an very irregular...and I am off to the Drs on Wed to ask for it? Do you know??

kizzy212 · 06/12/2004 14:40

I AM GOING MAD, HAVE JUST POSTED ON A THREAD A MONTH OLD. LOL

jeddah · 06/12/2004 15:09

kizzy...LOL.... what are you like! Grin

jeddah · 06/12/2004 15:15

Cockenzie
Following on from your post on stopping breast feeding.....

Try and aim to stop over a 1-2 weeks... keep the morning and evening feed till last, knock out the day feeds.
This is very difficult as your dd in now in a habit and gets great comfort from breast feeding. Be firm but kind! Offer formula instead and keep saying 'all gone' and also try and divert her...but keep the am and pm.
Then knock out the am! the pm is always the last to go as they find this the hardest.

This way is probably the kindest for your dd and you! and your breasts!!!!

jeddah · 06/12/2004 16:38

cockenzie

We bought our personas on ebay they range from £10-40!!!! and is far more cost saving than buying OPKs every month!

Have a look on ebay! they are brilliant!

Good luck with the breast feeding!

jingleballs · 06/12/2004 17:39

evening all, how are you all doing good I hope.

There's a loada new faces here I think (or jsut xmas names!) first of...

Rantus/Rudy... ello strangers.. (((big hugs))) (missed ur tips of persona rudy, jed and I have ours now and have been to-ing and froing of each others! lol.

Jed - glad u finally had a green day (in the good way!) hopfully u'll catch as it were.

Cockenzie, - def go to ebay hon, they're a lot cheaper.

Tania - Thanks for the advise on the AC. Next month i'm gonna stop taking it I think and see what happens. (I'm not keen on having a cycle of 24 days if I OV on day 14 ish?... obviously all depends on when I do OV thou, (looks lovingly at persona!)

CD 8 here, still on a red day, not that it makes too much difference!, hester should I get PG this month or next i'll be buying the whole lot of ya a weekend away in that health spar thing! lol, :o It would be the imaculate conception (do u think he's tads can swim 2000 miles lmao :o )
