1DPO - Testing buddies? 😄

Hi all,

Just wondering if anyone else is 1DPO today... I got a peak ovulation test on CD14 and CD15, today is CD16, so I am around 1DPO. We DTD CD13 & CD14, so I am hoping the sperm stuck around a couple of days!

Just wondering if anyone else is around the same dates as me and wants to chat during their TWW 🙂

I'm 11dpo, my boobs are so sore and I started feeling really sick when I was eating last night, same this morning. I really believed I was pregnant this month but I've started with light cramping and a little bit of spotting so I thibk AF is on her way, only shadows on tests too 😔I have been absolutely bawling this morning, all I want to do is give my little girl a sibling and I'm failing miserably at it 😭

I'm so sorry you're feeling so low 😞

We are TTC#1 and the thought of it not happening is starting to absolutely terrify me. Can't think about much else.

So I completely get that helpless and panicky feeling. It's awful.

I think to be kind to yourself you should maybe think about trying not to test until AF is due. I'm going to try to do the same.

I know that feels impossible but I think that it might help a little as looking at that blank fucking space when testing breaks my heart every time

It really is so difficult. Last month my husband said that I was taking the fun out of trying by getting so devastated when I see negative tests... I don't get how I can take the fun out of something that isn't fun in the first place, it's just pure torture.

How long have you been ttc? I understand the feeling of thinking it'll never happen, its the most awful, gut wrenching feeling.

I'm going to try and not test until I miss my period but my will power is just not there, I'm so weak 😔

I do think that even if on paper men understand the actual window each month is much smaller than we all think before TTC, because that window isn't dependent on their body it somehow easier for them to detach themselves from the importance of the actual dates if that makes sense?

We've been TTC for around a year 😞 how about you?

Can I ask how long you were trying for your first? You don't have to answer obviously! I can imagine if it didn't take long the first time it must be upsetting if it does the next time and conversely if it took a long time the first time, it must be upsetting to go through that again.

Yes,men don't seem to understand quite how small the window is for it. I also find that because they're not the ones symptom spotting in the tww, they can go about their lives pretty normally and then just rely on us to tell them if we're pregnant or not.

That must be so hard for you 😔 we have only been actively trying for 3 cycles, but been off birth control for about 6 months.

With my first I came off the pill and being on it for 11 years and 6 weeks later found out that we were pregnant, I was about 4 weeks when we found out. I know how lucky we were with her, we were sure if we would be able to conceive as I have endometriosis, now it's playing on my mind that I won't be able to have anymore and the thought of that kills me. My husband is an only child and has always said that he doesn't want out daughter to be an only child too so I'm feel very very guilty about that.

We have a close family wedding in Australia next march so will have to stop trying for a few months otherwise I won't be able to fly 😔 so we only have 2 more cycles before we have to stop and then the age gap is going to be bigger than we'd like. I just feel so fucking shit

So after some pretty convincing evaps earlier this week I was absolutely convinced I was out, but something made me test this evening with my last FRER and got this!

I'm in shock, after 18 months ttc and 2 early losses and an ectopic 6 months ago I was beginning to think it wasn't going to happen for me. Fingers crossed it sticks now xx

Something is wrong..
So I’ve been spotting/bleeding for 2 weeks but the test is darker than it was originally.
I can feel my period wanting to start, it’s just not coming properly. This is really odd.
I’m going to see how it goes today to see if my period does come/bleeding gets heavier.

I didn’t have any bleeding with my first son, 2nd pregnancy I bled from 5 weeks all the way through as I had a haematoma.
I feel like my body is playing tricks on me ☹️

@MrsLaura89 couldn't it be implantation bleeding? Maybe a bit of cervical bleeding from ecroption? I'm sure that's not the right word bust that thing where you have benign spotting

Thank you everyone. I got my digital positive at 9DPO and been testing daily with internet cheapies since, line is getting darker each morning which is such a relief to see 🙂

I'm still bleeding but not heavy, not my usual period as my now I’d be pouring out! (Sorry tmi).
It’s currently like a very, very light period. I get the odd cramp thinking it’s going to get worse but it’s not.
If I’m not on properly by the end of the week I’m going to call the doctors x

@Cossete my lines don't seem to be getting any darker so think it may be another chemical. Waiting 2 days to test again to see what's happening but not hopeful xx

@Cossete yes testing with frers, got a really faint positive sunday and then didn't seem any different yesterday, lighter if anything.

I'm going to wait until tomorrow night so it's been 24hours since my last test. Mine always seem to be darker in the evening than FMU xx

I went out to play netball last night and had more bleeding before and after. Still not fully on my period.

My tests are totally negative now so seems I've had yet another chemical!

@cakeislife1234 I spoke to a girl at work and she recommended taking extra vitamin D supplements as this time of year can affect us. I work for the nhs so I have a range of people who can give me advice.
im taking multivitamins anyway but I will up the vit D.
I believe mine is chemical too, I’m 16 days of bleeding now. Not even that heavy right now, just wishing for it to start properly.

@MrsLaura89 My tests are still progressing. Woke up with sore boobs this morning (yesterday was my expected period day). Not feeling too sick yet which is good, quite tired. Really hoping these are all good signs. Sorry you're thinking it's another chemical x
