1DPO - Testing buddies? 😄

Hi all,

Just wondering if anyone else is 1DPO today... I got a peak ovulation test on CD14 and CD15, today is CD16, so I am around 1DPO. We DTD CD13 & CD14, so I am hoping the sperm stuck around a couple of days!

Just wondering if anyone else is around the same dates as me and wants to chat during their TWW 🙂

Sank just over half a bottle of wine last night. I’m still having light bleeding and the occasional ache.
Decided to test as fed up of waiting to period bleed properly and now I’m fricking terrified.
Am I miscarrying, eptopic, haematoma???
If bleeding gets worse it will be obvious but my test is now this…

I think you need to get in touch with early preg unit and if they'll do bloods, otherwise there isn't really any way of knowing what was going on

I had an ectopic in may, positive tests followed by 5 days heavy bleeding and assumed it was a period. Couple of weeks later did a test and it was still blazing positive. Best to be safe and wishing you all the best for a positive outcome xx

Hi @ScaredSally the bleeding is very up and down. In the morning I morealess have none and then in the afternoon I have more. If I go to the toilet I bleed more too. I’ve had less bleeding today and had an even more positive test which is sad because it’s confusing but I have a scan with EPC tomorrow at 1:30pm so I’m just hoping that when I go they tell me that it’s over so I can relax and wait for the proper bleeding to start. I have some aches tonight like I did yesterday (but they stopped) but I just have a feeling tonight is the night.
Big fat sigh 😔

@MrsLaura89 hope your scan goes ok and they can put your mind at rest abit for you... it's so hard being in limbo about it all

Hi everyone!

So update on scan..gestational sac seen with a yolk, pregnancy is in the right place and there is no bleeding around the potential baby. They don’t know where it’s coming from so I have a rescan in 2 weeks to see if it’s growing. She asked me of my dates and luckily I know when we had sex and close to ovulation so going by that id be between 4-5 weeks but by last period nearly 6 but it’s the size it should be which might be why my tests were getting darker.
I still feel in limbo really as no reason for the bleeding, my cervix is closed..where the heck is it coming from? Doctor didn’t seem concerned but I asked her a bunch of questions and she said they can’t do anything about bleeding and it’s just a case of wait and see. Baby May grow, baby may not. Might miscarry..might not!

For now I’ll take it easy and test next week to see if test is darker again. Obviously if bleeding gets worse I can call EPC and they may see me sooner.

What a bloody nightmare ay!!

@Cossete Hi, things are the same..still bleeding but no pain. Living in constant fear. I’m working all night tonight too and I’ll have half a ward as there’s such rubbish staffing right now..I don’t need the extra stress tbh.

Bleeding is a little less today but still very much there. Counting the days until the rescan so I can get some more clarity. I’ll probably call EPC again next week if I’m still bleeding, I’m finding the whole thing really stressful and my husband doesn’t want to talk about it as he’s a very positive person and he says I’m not fun to be around right now 😞

@MrsLaura89 hey! I'm ok, started therapy last week for anxiety which I'm hoping will help, and getting assessed for PTSD and birth trauma
had an amniocentesis last week so just waiting for results now praying everything's ok, but I've started to feel tiny fluttery kicks which is kinda reassuring

Hey I’m okay, managed a scan at work by one of our lovely doctors as I wasnt convinced the bleeding was “just one of those things” and 2 haematomas found. On cyclogest now and bleeding has reduced. Baby had grown and hcg was going up.
I have a repeat scan at EPC on Tuesday morning as will be 2 weeks from their last one to see if baby has grown more and still alive etc (hate saying that!).

@MrsLaura89 glad your getting the checks you need and the medication has helped with the bleeding
i got my first set of chromosome results which told me it's a boy (yay) but still waiting the main ones to rule out fatal problems so just keeping everything crossed still

@ScaredSally ahh did you have a harmony test?

@MrsLaura89 I opted for an amniocentesis, not the most enjoyable experience but it'll be worth it to know they're healthy

its actually wide but has faded BUT it’s there!!!!
Is this a late period or after ovulation? x

@MrsLaura89 I'm 7dpo. I've retested this morning and the test is stark white so obviously a faulty test. This is the second pink evap line I've I'd in 4 months and with two different brands!

How are you doing? Has the bleeding tailed off?

As hard as it is why don’t you give it a week and retest then? At least then you’ll deffo be 10days PO (and some).

I’m okay, bleeding has stopped and it’s just the occasional brown with discharge now but that will be down to the cyclogest I believe. It’s my rescan today with EPC. NERVOUS!
I’ve tested this morning and I got a positive thick line immediately so I’m still pregnant technically.
I am not feeling positive, worried that the baby will have gone or died but there’s nothing i can do about it. Scan is at 10 so not long to wait 😶
