Hey hey, making this thread to lead on from last months. I’m 1 or 2 dpo today and I’m going to try and not symptom spot this month!! Also going to try my best to not test until 12dpo at the earliest!

what DPO are you all?

@Emmalou0607 it’s so hard not to obsess! Been trying to keep myself busy to keep my mind off it!

I’ve never tracked BBT throughout an entire cycle but I think I have heard that a dip can mean implantation!

I feel you @Emmalou0607 - so much easier to feel positive at the beginning of the 2WW, and then it just ebbs...I keep grabbing my boobs to check that they are still sore 😂Hopefully that BBT dip is a good sign!

I'm 9DPO, feeling definite tinges/very mild crampy sensations which are pretty typical in the lead up to AF, trying not to read anything into that either way. Was tempted to test this morning but still holding out.

Wreakingball · 06/11/2022 10:17

I always think days 6-11 PO are the absolute worst. Overthinking every twinge or sensation and swinging between getting hopefully and trying to not be too hopeful 😆

PPop · 06/11/2022 11:19

What is BBT? Sorry lingo again haha!

I have felt odd and crampy but not like my usual period cramping it's more like the feeling when you've held a wee for too long and then god you get that almost pulling sensation... just me? 😂

Emmalou0607 · 06/11/2022 11:42

@PPop it's Basel body temperature. You basically take your temp first thing when you wake up and if you ovulate ate you will see it increase so it's a bit of a clearer indication than just a LH peak. It's then meant to stay above the pre ovulation base line for the rest of your cycle.

@Wreakingball you are definitly right there!

@Mortima well done holding out! Hopefully it's symptoms and not pms for yiu

PPop · 06/11/2022 12:13

Thank you @Emmalou0607 for explaining once again to this noob!

Mortima · 07/11/2022 08:01

Morning everyone - I'm 10DPO today and the temptation to test is getting real. I'm going to try and sit on my hands for another 2 days if I can. This bit is the worst!

@PPop It's worth tracking your BBT if this cycle isn't successful for you, as it helps to confirm ovulation (whereas LH tests can only tell you that the hormone surge is happening, not whether or not you have actually ovulated).

PPop · 07/11/2022 08:22

@Mortima thank you for that! I will do a Google to find it all out!

Fingers crossed for you, are you testing day 14?

Wrenegade · 07/11/2022 08:26

Good morning @Mortima I’m also 10 dpo. How are you feeling symptom wise today? The temptation is very real now.

MillieKitty · 07/11/2022 08:43

You all have such strong willpower! I have been waiting for one of you to test 😂

Mortima · 07/11/2022 08:47

Sorry to keep you in suspense @MillieKitty 😂Hope things are still progressing well on your end!

@PPop I'm aiming to test at 12DPO, as my luteal phase seems to be max 12 days so if my period hasn't come by then I reckon I have a good chance of an accurate test result.

@Wrenegade My cycle twin! I've got definite pelvic twinges/dull achey feeling, still got sore boobs, a faint sense of nausea at times - nothing really out of the ordinary for PMS for me, but yesterday I convinced myself that something intangible just felt 'different'. How about you?

Wrenegade · 07/11/2022 08:51

@Mortima I feel like we are cycle twins! You could have been writing my symptoms. Sensitive nipples and heavier fuller boobs. Yesterday and the day before I was experiencing aches (which I do think could be my period gearing up) but yesterday and today I have felt nauseous. My temperature is high so I wonder if I’m just ill. The only other thing that is different and I’m not sure if it is a symptom is I’ve woken up really early the last few days and struggled to go back to sleep.

MillieKitty · 07/11/2022 08:54

All of your symptoms sound promising you guys! 🤞🏼 well I'm still pregnant but major anxiety about it as it is still so early, been avoiding using frers but did a digital which calmed me a bit!

Peeonastick22 · 07/11/2022 09:06

@Mortima I’m 9dpo and feeling the same! Really having to resist the urge to test.

Each time I go to wee I’m telling myself I can test on my next wee if I’m desperate to test 😂 seems to be working so far.

I’m actually feeling less this cycle symptom wise than I did the last one, not sure if that’s good or bad- the only reason that I’m not convincing myself that I’m not pregnant is that I didn’t get my 7dpo spotting!

Good luck everyone I really hope we get some positives this cycle! 🤞

OP posts:
PPop · 07/11/2022 09:07

@MillieKitty I am so sorry to ask but what is frers and why is it bad?

We have been trying as in throwing caution to the wind for a little bit but this month I tracked more so I am on a learning thing!

I think I'm now 7 DPO this is dragging I don't know when to test! It's such a minefield! 😂

Peeonastick22 · 07/11/2022 09:09

@MillieKitty gosh I know that anxiety, you’re still going strong though and things should only get more and more set in stone with each day!
when was your last AF how many weeks are you now?

OP posts:
MillieKitty · 07/11/2022 09:09

@PPop oh no don't be sorry! Frers are first response tests where you read the lines, it can be stressful seeing fainter lines when you know you're pregnant but people like to see the line progression on them

PPop · 07/11/2022 09:11

@MillieKitty that makes perfect sense! How far along are you? When did you first test? Very excited for you!

MillieKitty · 07/11/2022 09:12

@Peeonastick22 I'm three weeks and five days, I'm just hoping that this one will stick as I implanted earlier than the CP cycle

MillieKitty · 07/11/2022 09:13

@PPop I ended up testing 8 or 9dpo, I'd never usually test that early but I wasn't well and I just wanted to rule it out 😆

PPop · 07/11/2022 09:14

@MillieKitty see I'm on a sticky wicket as I am going out for a meal Friday...

Usually I'd have Camembert, but that's soft cheese 😂 I'm sure you aren't meant to have soft cheese?!

Also cocktails so I feel best testing prior 😂

MillieKitty · 07/11/2022 09:17

@PPop my sister kept eating Camembert throughout her pregnancies even though I told her not too haha, but she was fine! But yeah best to test so you can relax and enjoy it

Wreakingball · 07/11/2022 09:20

Haha I had to go for a wee quickly this morning so I didn’t have time to think about testing 😆. Also going to hold out til 11dpo as I usually have my period by then so hopefully it would be good news.

PPop · 07/11/2022 09:21

@MillieKitty I was so hoping that if it was cooked it would be totally fine to eat it's my guilty treat 😂

I think that and cocktails are my only treats that I can no longer have 😂

Emmalou0607 · 07/11/2022 09:24

I'm obsessed with cheese (well food in general) so I've spent a lot of time looking at do's and don'ts 😂 I'm sure I've read that unpasteurised cheese like Camembert you can have if it's been cooked. I'll see if I can find it again or if I was dreaming
