Hey hey, making this thread to lead on from last months. I’m 1 or 2 dpo today and I’m going to try and not symptom spot this month!! Also going to try my best to not test until 12dpo at the earliest!

what DPO are you all?

@Wrenegade you have a lot of willpower to wait until 12dpo! It's a good sign that even your partner has noticed!!
Oh god it's been hard not testing, boyfriend had to tell me off today for wanting to test again 😆 symptom wise I have been having awful tummy ache like a trapped wind sort of feeling, and felt a bit sick last night but that passed quickly

@MillieKitty I’m glad the symptoms are passing quickly, they sound tough. They all sound so promising. Having a partner with strong will power is helpful!

I found this website, it tells you what % of test pick up a positive depending on how many dpo you are. It is helping me stay strong but we will see. www.countdowntopregnancy.com/pregnancy-test/

I feel like I have tricked my DH into symptom spotting along with me 😆

Hi ladies!! can i join please i'm ttc#1. I think I'm 7/8Dpo. i conceived on my first cycle in march but had a early miscarriage in april because of subchorionic hematoma. I'm on my cycle#3 ttc now and feeling very anxious. I'm feeling all the right symptoms but not sure. AF is due in 8 days.

I am fairly sure I ovulated Monday, I had LH results Sunday and Monday but nothing at all Tuesday and on Monday I had discomfort in my right side. There is still strange right hand side sensations so would this make me 5 days DPO? Not sure if I understand the lingo 🤦‍♀️

@PPop hey! If you ovulated monday you would be 4DPO (days past ovulation) you get used to the lingo quickly ☺️ how you feeling other than strange sensations?

@Emmalou0607 I have an extremely sensitive sense of smell, but I'm not sure if I'm overthinking this 😂 fed our dogs raw for years but recently the smell of it is just so overwhelming, the other night I could smell DH protein from somewhere and he said it had been hours. I'm like a blood hound.

@PPop some people seem to get very very faint lines from 8dpo but not everyone gets it this early.

I'd hold of to as close to or past your next period due if you can so you don't get unnecessarily disheartened if it's negative early on... easier said than done though 😅

He's still been convinced all along that you can literally make a baby whenever you want. Don't mind me over here measuring my BBT and LH daily to know the specific window we have 😂 I think he gets it now but we'll see haha

@MillieKitty glad it's not just mine haha. It makes sense that they don't know cause it doesn't really get taught. His next response was 'so how do all those drunk teenagers get pregnant by accident?' 😂 mixture of youth, fluke time of the month they did it, lower stress levels etc etc.

I still think he's in shock haha

I'm 8DPO, getting into the tempting testing window...no symptoms to speak of, but last night I had some wine which suddenly started tasting slightly odd, I'm not sure if it was just my mind playing tricks on me (or just a dodgy bottle of wine).

Ok whether I’m pregnant or not this cycle is definitely different!

I usually get light spotting for just one day at 7dpo, but instead today I have tons of stretchy white discharge- very odd

@MillieKitty I know, you and your 9DPO BFP has got me tempted! But I'm going to try and hold off until 11 or 12DPO - I just think seeing a negative tomorrow will put a dampener on the weekend. By 10/11DPO my body has usually started giving me signals that it's not happening anyway.

My DH gets an icked face when I try to explain cycles and how it works, though he does pat my tummy for luck these days which is sweet!

@Mortima I'm same as you, going to try and hold off testing. For some reason this cycle feels harder to hold off and I'm only 6dpo 😫

Probably really stupid question but I live in running leggings (occasionally skinny jeans) and I've suddenly started worrying today the compression from the leggings or jeans will do something negative to the potential of testing positive eventually. Like squishing it all in.

I wouldn’t think that tight leggings etc would make a different to anything as there’s a lot of fat, muscle tissue etc between uterus and outer skin to keep it protected! But if it’s feeling uncomfortable then follow your gut!

Feeling similar to be honest. First few days of TWW I was super positive and now I'm on day 7 overthinking that I don't feel anything at all yet, keep grabbing my boobs just to check if they are sore yet 😂 BBT went down quite a bit this morning so have been obsessively googling if it could be implantation dip. I swear I wasn't this obsessive pre TTC haha
