Halloween testers 🎃

Hi all,

I’m just starting my TWW and planning on testing around 29 October (unless period comes sooner which it did last month!)

Anyone else planning to test around Halloween?

@SmurfStar I caved!!! Bfn, walked around the house to check it under different lights and not even a evap or indent for me to obsess over 😂 I thought I was due on today as af arrived at 12dpo last cycle but premom says tomorrow and flo says Tuesday so I'm going to test again in the morning, they're asda cheap tests so not sure if they're sensitive enough to pick up hcg early or not. Off to Google how likely it is to get bfn at 12dpo and still be pregnant!

@birdboo hiiiii well, think we're the last few to the party. Got my frer ready for tomorrow but it's only 13dpo so will anticipate a negative
I think the generic supermarket ones are 25miu so are not very sensitive.
Get a decent test, pay the money, put your mind at ease. Use a cheap test for line progression if you are comforted that way.
Have you got another test for the morn?

Good Morning ladies ! I am on day 29 of my cycle today which is the same day last month as I began to spot and my period began the next day. No spotting yet but am just waiting on it now. Flo is predicting that my period will start on the 5th which would be day 34 of cycle . It seems too long but who knows ! I haven’t tested yet as don’t have want to waste a test when I have no real symptoms 😔Good luck to everyone testing today

BFN here. I don't know why I'm even testing as I know I'm not pregnant, the amount of time I've spent staring at non-existent lines suggests I might need a new hobby. Roll on AF and another attempt next month 🙂

Well, I definitely had no idea that I couldn't fly to Jamaica if pregnant and we are due to go early next year.
Thankfully, AF arrived this morning. Second period since mmc so it's not the end of the world. Sad day today as this was my due date.

Wise ladies in my phone. I am I going mad? I have such strong symptoms, sick yesterday and this morning. Hit flushes, smelling so many weird things. AF due Thursday. Clear blue early detection BFN this morning. Am I out? If so what's wrong with me 😂

13dpo and negative on an early clear blue this morning, period due today. Had a bit of hope after my negatives last night as I'm feeling a bit nauseous this morning but the cb couldn't be more negative if it tried 🤦🏻‍♀️

@CreatingLittlePudding wouldn't even bother with the cheap tests. I got cb cheapies out of home bargains that were useless and just ended up wrecking my head and my bank. However I also spent loads on frer to then read about their unreliability atm so what do I know

@VictoriaBlossom everything happens for a reason!! Enjoy Jamaica what an amazing holiday. At least now you can enjoy Christmas without stressing about drinking etc.

@Raddish88 I'd say you've still plenty of time to test. Sure according to my app I had bfn on 12dpo and I was 14dpo when I got a squinter. Stay positive. Every body is different, my period is technically one day late today and it's still a very fairly line (hoping all is ok)

Well like an idiot I tested again and it was a bfn. I'm either on 11 dpo or 12dpo. Not really that surprised if I'm testing early but still messing up my head. I've used 2 early clear blue digital.

Still stupidly sore boobs, feel nauseus constantly, tmi huge increase in discharge and it has gone white and lotion like. Cervix is ripe and soft. Seem to have gone of coffee and a customers perfume made me want to be sick earlier. Mild cramping but not like pms cramps and very mild endo pains.

I know exactly what you mean! Still trying to convince myself I'm not out even though AF is starting.

In retrospect I think the giant box of test strips was a bad idea. I'm not going to let myself buy any more until at least 11dpo next month!

@OneHundredOtters I tested lots too... I think I was thinking better to keep testing rather than get my hopes up symptom spotting for days, but actually I think it made me a bit nuts checking each test a billion times for squinters.

That said, the 2ww is probably tough however you do it...

I'm keeping my fingers crossed AF does actually appear on time so that I have a normal cycle length and I know my body is at least trying to get back into the swing of things after coming off the pill 🙂

13/14DPO today and BFN, 2 days late as I usually have an 11 day luteal phase. Holding onto a thread of hope but know deep down I’m probably out. Expecting AF to arrive today. Have been crampy for about 6 days now, think my body is messing with me. If AF does show, atleast my luteal phase was a little longer this month which is positive I guess, I always worried it was on the short side.

If it makes you feel any better I have noticed quite a few posters recently saying they have a short luteal phase, not necessarily on this thread, can't remember but I've definitely been noticing cos I was surprised there were so many.

Quick question, does anyone else get CM right up to their period? Thank you 🙂

I have a bit in the past but not a lot. I think if you have a lot it's a sign you've conceived.. 🤔 if it's thicker and creamier ..

@Billyv I never get CM before my period, I dont get spotting or anything, she just appears in full flow but the last 2 days I have have white CM in my underwear (sorry TMI) trying not to read too much into it because BFN…🤷‍♀️

Today is also my last possible day for AF to arrive if it adheres to my "normal" cycle pattern. It's usually 27-30 days. I suppose there is a slight chance it could arrive early tomorrow as I think I may have ovulated quite late on the 17th of this month but that will be the latest it's arrived for as long as I can remember. Let's count down together! Lol

@Billyv yes I do, but the cm was exactly the same months I’ve concieved as well! X
