theblueflowers · 14/10/2022 08:18

You are all so wonderful and supportive-thank you so so much. Cannot tell you how much it helps after going through everything before and not feeling like I can tell anyone in real life yet. I cannot wait to celebrate it happening for everyone on this thread.

I'm going to do my best to take it one day at a time. My first goal is getting to AF due date on Monday. The fear is already creeping in!

I don't think we did anything different tbh. Managed to catch day before O and O day itself. Really couldn't be bothered to do more than that! This was the first cycle in a very long time that I actually noticed EWCM. I have been taking Evening Primose for about 6 months in the hope that it would improve, but I doubt that was doing anything at all for me!

@FfayeN so nice that we can get through this time together! It's such a mixture of emotions. Have you thought about how you are going to tell DH?

I had a fertilily in my Amazon basket waiting to go 😂

ChickenT2b · 14/10/2022 08:28

@FfayeN @theblueflowers congratulations ladies 😍 did you have any early symptoms?
@HalWin2221 sorry for the delay. I am feeling cautiously positive about this cycle. I had some slight twinges in my left abdomen on both 6/7 dpo. Could be nothing of course. And my temp is at a decent level now. How are you getting on?
I surprised myself yesterday that I’d got to 7 dpo without thinking about testing 🙈 really want to wait until 11 dpo but don’t know if I can!! X

FfayeN · 14/10/2022 08:35

@Luna57 pmsl! Thanks lovely

@theblueflowers I echo your words exactly you have put it so well! Definitely taking each day as it comes. I'll literally show him the test this time, 4th time round it's lost it's shine for us as such.

I actually found temping stopped me testing early, but as @TheBirdintheCave said if you get that dip it's almost the same thing. POAS just feels more final I guess.

@ChickenT2b I wouldn't say so. I thought mine were symptoms of AF (since I took the doxycycline, I get a tingly/warm sensation I assume which is the lining changing or hormones prior to AF) same this month! No sore boobs but terrible constipation last 2 days. All normal for AF for me.
My last BFP before I had really obvious symptoms so been totally different each time xx

@FfayeN @theblueflowers that’s all you can do ladies. Take each day as it comes. Celebrate every milestone you get to. An think “I’m pregnant for today” 💖
it’s a long ole few weeks 🙈🙈

HalWin2221 · 14/10/2022 08:52

@ChickenT2b glad you’re feeling positive, I’ll keep everything crossed for you and hopefully in a couple of days they’ll be congratulations flying around for you too! 🤞🏽 I know I think I’ve thought about testing every day since O 😂
I’m ok! I’m having really vivid dreams which was my symptom both pregnancies but I’m not sure if it’s because my mind is working overtime hoping that I am! I’m not even going to pretend I’m not going to test early, I’ll probably be testing Monday! 😂

ChloeN · 14/10/2022 08:54

@FfayeN im glad you’ve said you had different symptoms each time! I had implantation bleeding the first time so feel like I’ll be out if I don’t get that, but maybe I wouldn’t every time! I’ve got everything crossed for you🤞🏻

emhope · 14/10/2022 09:00

@FfayeN and @theblueflowers wow congratulations to you both. Amazing news to read this morning. Wishing you both all the best ❤️ Actually filled me some hope to see some BFP’s after feeling so down about this TTC journey lately. Fingers crossed it’s my turn soon 🤞🏻

lizziecat1 · 14/10/2022 09:16

@FfayeN @theblueflowers Congratulations! So happy for you both. Hope you can relax and enjoy being pregnant.

lizziecat1 · 14/10/2022 09:22

More advice please, clever ladies!
D&C just over 4 weeks ago -bleeding only really stopped at 3 weeks. Just 1 week later it felt like AF was arriving (mild cramps, gurgling feeling, temp dropped right down and stayed there) But nothing other than tiny amounts brown/mucus for 3 days. (Ov tests and preg tests completely negative!)
Would you think that was AF, and start counting CD1 from there?
I'm really hoping that was my fresh start - fed up guessing what might be going on!

RaliaMusca · 14/10/2022 10:00

@FfayeN @theblueflowers oh my goodness, what lovely news! Congratulations both! Sending you lots of sticky bean magic ✨⭐✨
The all day queasiness has kicked in here, I'm six weeks today. So I'll be lying low until my next scan.
I'm also still terrified of it all going wrong again but I love the advice one of you gave to say "today I am pregnant". Makes me able to enjoy it at least a little bit.

Luna57 · 14/10/2022 10:07

Ladies that have used cyclogest rectally… I phoned epu there to ask if this bleeding is normal it’s just going on so long I’m on day 6 it’s still bright red light bleeding. I told her this morning I swapped the pessary from vaginally to rectal. She went hang on a second. Came back and said ‘emm I’ve never heard of anyone using them rectally we wouldn’t recommend’ and told me to continue vaginally. I’ve 10 days til the next scan and they won’t scan me before. I don’t feel this bleeding is ever gonna stop and don’t feel like they’re that worried I’ve had fresh bleeding for nearly a week straight. Any time I’ve google fresh bleeding it always goes back to cervical bleeding and should consult epu or a doctor if it persists more than 48 hours? Maybe I should leave a urine test in the doctors to see if there’s a possible uti or kidney infection? The sides of my back has been sore but I’ve been putting it down to lazing around for 2 weeks since I’ve been off work

TheBirdintheCave · 14/10/2022 10:10

@Luna57 Ok so, when I went to pick them up from the pharmacy I remember she asked me which way I was told to take them and I said they'd told me rectally (as they did). I'm not sure if she gave me different ones because of that or if the information leaflet is different? I don't think it was though, pretty sure I remember reading that you can use them either way. What does your information sheet say that came with the meds?

mummatara · 14/10/2022 10:12

@lizziecat1 oooh that's a hard one. If it was me I think I would count it as CD1 to give you a starting point but do opks everyday to see if they change at any point. I got AF 5 weeks after my D&C but I did still have positive PT too until 6 weeks added to that it was a proper AF but I didn't bleed very much after mine only about 2 days. My temp dropped back down a couple of weeks after the procedure and didn't go back up until ovulation which was the cycle after the D&C so keep taking temps took it's a really hard limbo time wondering what's happening

lizziecat1 · 14/10/2022 10:16

@mummatara Thank you. Going to optimistically call that CD1... which means countdown to possible ovulation. Hooray! And thank goodness for huge multipacks of opks on Amazon! At that price, I can justify testing every day. I'd be bankrupt before long if I was using the clearblue ones!

Luna57 · 14/10/2022 10:20

@TheBirdintheCave the box says for vaginal or rectal use but the wee sticker says intravaginal use only. What would be the difference though?

TTC after miscarriage thread 12 🌈✨💛💕
mummatara · 14/10/2022 10:24

@Luna57 surely if the box says rectally then that is fine to use rectally. I don't know how they haven't heard of anyone taking them that way when everyone seems to do it 😳 I think I would ring them back and tell them your feeling a bit dismissed there's obv something your body doesn't like or you wouldn't keep bleeding and tell them what the box says

LuckyMoonstone · 14/10/2022 10:29

@FfayeN @theblueflowers oh amazing news, and two at once!! Well done you pair
