@RaliaMusca I’d definitely ring them back. I spoke with Tommies after mine and they gave me this link: www.tommys.org/sites/default/files/legacy/PRISM%20Infographic_v4_1.pdf to be able to take EPU if needed.

@MrsCristianoX have you got a frer you test with on Sunday? Sending lots of baby dust ✨

@LuckyMoonstone Might make leaflets too so I can slip them in his bag when he goes to work 🤣

FfayeN · 30/09/2022 19:59

@HalWin2221 @LuckyMoonstone we would become legends amongst the TTC community...I can see the headlines now "desperate women bring orgasm hope to thousands" 😂😂😂.

@MrsCristianoX really have everything crossed for you lovely 🙏🏼 xx

@RaliaMusca I echo what @HalWin2221 said. But if it is a MC tests probably can get darker as your body will be working hard to sort all the hormones and they'll need time to settle. Just makes it torturous though 😣 xx

MrsCristianoX · 30/09/2022 20:03

@HalWin2221 I'm very sure I have one of those kicking around 😅 in my vast stash of early tests ..

HalWin2221 · 30/09/2022 20:10

@FfayeN @LuckyMoonstone maybe they could pay us in pregnancy tests? 😂

@MrsCristianoX I’ve always found FRER have been the most accurate for me in early testing! 🤞🏽🤞🏽🤞🏽✨✨

RaliaMusca · 30/09/2022 20:46

Thank for you advice and the link! @HalWin2221 Epu have refused to see me as they say nothing can be done and I just have to wait it out. They're now shut until Monday 🙁

HalWin2221 · 30/09/2022 20:50

@RaliaMusca im not sure where you are, are you in the UK? You could ring 111 and the on-call doctor could prescribe you it. Hope you’re ok! X

RaliaMusca · 30/09/2022 20:51

I am in the UK, yes. Will try and do that, thank you!

HalWin2221 · 30/09/2022 20:53

@RaliaMusca sending you all the luck & baby dust I can! 🤞🏽🤞🏽✨✨

RaliaMusca · 30/09/2022 20:54

@HalWin2221 Hm, seems NICE guidelines state that they only give progesterone if a scan has shown a viable pregnancy.

HalWin2221 · 30/09/2022 20:57

@RaliaMusca When I spoke with Tommys they said they would prescribe it before as it is used to treat threatened miscarriage because my 2 MC have been before 5 weeks I said I would be worried if I had spotting again they wouldn’t prescribe it.
I’m absolutely no expert though, just trying to pass on what I’ve been advised 🥲

RaliaMusca · 30/09/2022 21:01

@HalWin2221 thank you, I really appreciate it! I can't face calling 111 tonight or go to A&E, I'm exhausted so will just go to bed. Hopefully I'll be able to sort something out tomorrow.

MrsCristianoX · 30/09/2022 21:37

@mummatara @Luna57 the call came today for the routine covid and flu booster 😩

Bouncingbeat · 30/09/2022 21:40

So i went to the nurse yesterday she did a pt and then referred me to epu. They were really lovely, repeated the pt and did an internal scan which showed nothing except a thick lining. Took bloods then and told me to come back again tomorrow for repeat to see if hcg had gone up or down. Well they rang today to say it was only 27 so defo an MC and there was no point coming back unless I was in severe pain or had more bleeding. Still spotting a bit so going to leave ttc this month and start fresh in november i think. I was trying to ask if the lining will stay until my next period or if i should expect to bleed before that but they couldn't really give me an answer. I suppose if i do ttc this month i might have a better chance because of the thickened lining? I don't know anymore 🤦🏻‍♀️

@LuckyMoonstone sorry to hear you're still having issues with the rising hcg. And that your doc won't run any tests. Very frustrating.

ChloeN · 30/09/2022 21:51

@HalWin2221 I did put my legs up this cycle bevause I thought why not may as well, doubt if it makes any difference though🤣

LuckyMoonstone · 30/09/2022 22:16

@FfayeN @HalWin2221 hahaha 😂 oh I’d be up for being paid in preggo tests. Would save a fortune

FfayeN · 30/09/2022 22:37

So how do you ladies deal with DH that can't perform because of the pressure? It's peak day here and nothing...tried twice and he just can't not get stressed 😫. I'm finding it quite upsetting especially getting the 'it's alright for you' comment 😔. However getting upset obviously adds more pressure!
I feel for him, but....humph x

HJA87 · 01/10/2022 02:40

@FfayeN the only thing that works is not telling him it’s Peak day. I say something along the lines of “would be good to DTD today”. Also DTD like a couple of days before so he doesn’t know which day is “the” day 😅 one time he knew it was peak and we had the same issue as you- woke him up 5 am that night and asked him to try again and he managed somehow (maybe cause he was half asleep and forgot it was peak)😃

FfayeN · 01/10/2022 02:47

@HJA87 yeah he didn't know because I had said anything he just knew because we'd done it a couple of days ago and I was keen to do it again 🤨. I have said I can't DTD every other day all month just to take away him knowing roughly when it is because he's still know when it came to back to back days.
Thank you though, sounds like he's just gonna have to push himself through it and stop overthinking it. xx

TheBirdintheCave · 01/10/2022 07:14

Temp rise this morning! :D Fingers crossed for a few more days of rises but I think O must have happened finally :D

mummatara · 01/10/2022 08:08

@MrsCristianoX ooh has it are you going to have it? I've decided I am def not I don't think it blends well with me. I have always had the flu jab and that's been ok though so will prob have that.

@FfayeN I have no idea how true this I was watching a video the other day and they said taking maca root was good for libido and getting the job done. The guy in this video said he sometimes had trouble with pressure performance and the maca root def helped him. We had been taking it prior to this pregnancy as I heard it was good for fertility but more male than female. I don't know if we had really been taking it for long enough to make a difference but might help

calimc83 · 01/10/2022 08:12

@MrsCristianoX have u tested today?! 😬🤞🏻 xx

emhope · 01/10/2022 09:02

@MrsCristianoX ohhh that sounds promising 🤞🏻

I am 9 DPO..trying so hard to resist the urge to test 😬

FfayeN · 01/10/2022 09:11

@mummatara thank you I will definitely look into it! This morning we moved to alternative means but I'll save you all the details 😂.

ChloeN · 01/10/2022 09:13

@mummatara @FfayeN ive heard the same about maca root, might of been the same video we watched but he said it worked pretty quick 🤣

bunnykins123 · 01/10/2022 09:28

@FfayeN oh hun. I totally get the desperation of a message like that so late at night after trying everything but with no avail. Sadly, for us it's happening more frequently. It's really hard as we are a bit older now, more tired now and we can't do the whole 'don't tell him' thing as it would mean we wouldn't likely cover dates at all. We haven't found the solution, we have tried the 'cup' (lolzzz @MrsCristianoX 🫣) which works well but no success. We've only that tried once. I think the longer you are ttc, the harder it is on men as they feel the pressure. I read a blog from a lady saying they tried viagra. Not broached that topic yet but I might. If im about to embark on more meds to get pregnant then maybe this is something he's willing to try? Sadly I don't have the solution but just know you're not alone 💕
