Thanks @Luna57, I’m going to hold off buying more tests so I don’t drive myself MAD and will speak to my GP about bloods depending on what the tests look like at the weekend. Haven’t had any bleeding but cramping on and off since last Wednesday so hoping that’s just implantation? Seems a little better today but I have horrible backache now! Trying not to read too much into it!

Confession time: I gave my dog my last 3 tests to hide before work and he forgot and left them on the sofa 🙄 so I did my other cb from yesterdays pack just now after like a one hour hold. Still clearly positive (good) but maybe not as strong as yesterday, my wee wasn’t as yellow as when I tested yesterday though (sorry tmi! Was 4 hour hold yesterday) so it’s probably just a dilution thing. Have now disassembled the test and scratched off the lines and didn’t take any photos so I can’t obsess over it! Also ran my last 2 remaining cheapies under the tap so I can’t take them even if I wanted to! I feel cleansed! No more tests until the weekend. Xxx

@AwayWeGoAgain do you mean DH and not dog 🤔😂 but very proud of you getting rid of the cheapies I def dont think they were doing you any favours. Ahhhh I did that in the early days with a digital no less I did the wee it was so so diluted and was an afternoon one with crappy hold and I knew it wouldn't say pregnant but I did it anyway 🤷🏼‍♀️ TTC journey messes with your head and your sensible brain 🤦🏼‍♀️

@ER20 we sound very similar! I had medical manangement on the 30th, believe I ovulated again last week, even tho epu said that was impossible before a period, but then tell me to use protection so I don’t get pregnant before having a period??
All very confusing 🤣 We’ve tried this cycle anyway and am hoping for the best!

So I was talking to a friend today who has just got pg from IVF and she was saying how she’s been on loads of drugs and injections and it’s been grim but the worst bit for her was that after embryo transfer she had to drink a pint of whole milk every day which apparently might help the bean stick?! Anyone ever heard of that?! No idea if there is any evidence for it or if it works for non-IVF pregnancy but I thought it was weird!

Anyway, I’ve got to go now… to the shops… to get some milk… 😂 xxx

@AwayWeGoAgain if a doctor told me to do that I think I would be sick I actually hate milk in fact someone was talking about off milk in the office today and I had to ask her to stop or I was going to spew 😂 wonder what the benefit is 🤔

@mummatara oh I know w that feeling all too well! The only thing that seems to help is carbs 🙈...have u any early scans scheduled? X

@LuckyMoonstone @mummatara it was one of her fertility doctors! Apparently it makes your uterus lining “stickier” but skimmed milk makes it “less sticky” somehow? Might do some research on it later and let you know! Anyway she didn’t have to have it all at once, could have cereal with milk, a milkshake and a hot chocolate or whatever over the day to make up the volume! Still, sounds like a lot! Think she could also swap some out for Greek yogurt or cottage cheese? I’ll ask next time I see her!

Sorry you’re feeling sicky @mummatara and @calimc83 (but also really not sorry because it’s a really good sign 😉) hope you can still eat a bit. With my ds I lived off iceberg lettuce and plain jacket potatoes, no butter or anything in the first trimester as couldn’t stomach anything else 😂 pregnancy does weird things to your body! Hope I get to join the “feeling horrendous all the time” club soon! xx

I heard about drinking more grapefruit juice during literal phase for EWCM and that has worked for me!

Exciting@Chellooo! To be honest I’d hold out as long as you possibly can! Some people (not me of course and definitely not this week!!!) test too early then spend all of their waking hours and most of the ones they should be sleeping wondering if the bfp is really a bfp or a cp. Then if you test and it’s bfn at 8dpo it could still go positive later but it might not so you’ve got a heart-wrenching hope-test-sadness-repeat scenario until you get a bfp or af shows up. I DO NOT take my own advice AT ALL but I’d wait until as close to af day as you can. Plus you also save money on doing a million tests. All that being said, if you test tomorrow no judgment here and let us know how it goes! Fingers crossed for you!!! 🤞🤞🤞 xx
