@mummatara i was thinking about taking different vitamins for egg quality too! I fell pregnant quickly so makes me think it might be something with the actual quality of the egg or sperm?
I am only 24 though so I bloody hope my eggs are okay, if not I better be getting on with having all my babies in one go🤦🏻‍♀️

@mummatara oh I'm so sorry to hear your news lovely, I had everything crossed for you 😞. I'm sure poor quality eggs were the cause of my previous mc. A really good book to read is it starts with egg..it recommends all the supplements to improve egg quality and also some to help the little swimmers. There's a certain type of omega u should take apparently and also one to avoid.. make sure you're vit d levels are optimum as well. Finally there is acupuncture to consider? It helps with improving blood flow to your ovaries etc and therefore improving the quality of your eggs/implantation etc. xx

@mummatara I take ubiqunol (bloody expensive stuff though!), vit d, Severn seas trying for a baby and baby aspirin daily. I was advised to take omega 3 too but I don't take that as I do eat a lot already. I also take hydroxy for reoccurring miscarriages but that's not a vitty though. DH take proxseed men, selenium, vitty c with zinc and vitty d. I feed them to him at night. Poor guy...

@bunnykins123 where do u get yours? The ubiquinol? I need all the help at 40 though closest I've DTD next to my peak this cycle 🙌 DH does not like the pressure of timed DTD 😂 'strategic seduction' @FfayeN

So my bleeding completely stopped today and was barely bleeding at all Sat-Mon, I thought my hcg levels would be almost completely gone but I just did a cheap test off a couple of hours hold and even though it’s not super dark it’s actually clearer than my tests last week before I started bleeding which is very confusing :s I’m not in any pain, and like I said I’ve completely stopped bleeding, it was only the length of a normal period, so I’m not convinced it’s ectopic or anything. I haven’t got photos of last weeks tests anymore, I deleted them as I didn’t want to look at them. So I’m just like, what do I do? I have a frer and a clear blue I can do in the morning to see what the lines are like. I was really hoping it would be out of my system now so I could try again!

@MrsCristianoX arghh I hear you. The longer it's going on, the more issues we have each month due to pressure. I can't get annoyed at it as I totally understand psychologically how hard it much be for them! I get mine from Amazon. I more often than not get Solgar but sometimes they sell out so I'm not taking (I can only describe these as horse pellets - they are mahooooosive!) Natures Best. They are about 30-40 quid for a months worth. I'm so poor these days due to all the gubbins I'm buying for fertility, testing etc.

@LuckyMoonstone I don't know what to say, I didn't expect that!!! My first reaction would be get yourself a FRER for fmu tomorrow. How far would you be now? That test is defo darker than the ones you posted on here before. Got absolutely everything by crossed for you 💕💕

@calimc83 thank you I've downloaded to the kindle will have a read. I'll have a look at acupuncture whenever I go to the osteopath and she stabs me with the little needles I secretly love it 😂 they give such good tension relief

@bunnykins123 haha love that you feed them to him 🙊 I don't mind if it's expensive as long as it bloody works. I'll spend my money on vitamins instead of a million pregnancy tests 😳

@LuckyMoonstone oooh that's a stronger line than I remember you posting I would be super confused too. could you do some blood tests to see what hcg is doing? Would the EPU do them for you maybe?

@MrsCristianoX I'm also away on holiday atm, drinking every night and the voice at the back of my head keeps saying 'my egggggs'. Le sigh.

@bunnykins123 right? I’m glad I’m not the only one who thinks so. I hardly feel like a huge period like bleed can give me any hope though. I feel like it’s just very stubborn hcg not going away 😬

@mummatara well I had a blood test last week when I had literally just found out, and I was thinking my docs would ring me this week and be like err did you know you were pregnant? But they haven’t yet. I suppose I could ring them and explain, see if they let me come back for another one. My plan was to do a few more days of testing and then ring 111 if the lines weren’t getting lighter, last time I had a MC a few years ago it was 111 who referred me to EPU. I don’t think I can ring EPU myself and ask to come in

@LuckyMoonstone incoming your test from what you posted previously. That is defo darker! Go pee on that FRER!!

@LuckyMoonstone that seems way darker! An although you had a bleed. With a bleed it would for sure get lighter. Not darker! Cos your hcg wasn’t showing lines like they before.

@LuckyMoonstone I would ring the doctors and ask it can't hurt they can only say no. Did the doctors test for hcg? that's a shame about the EPU but might be worth trying to ring and ask they might have changed their rules since then maybe. God I really really hope they get darker for you lovely 🤞🏼💕 I'm sure the ones last week were there but squinty that is def no squinty line.

@Indianna2006 I don’t know what they’re meant to be like, I mean maybe it rose a bit more while I was bleeding and now it’s gonna go back down? Maybe if I had tested say last thurs/fri the line would have been darker and now it’s actually lighter? I should have carried on testing every day! Gah!
@mummatara no it was a liver test, I thought maybe they just dipped something in the blood and it showed up every possible thing 😅 but if it’s just a specific liver test then I guess they don’t know about the pregnancy. I might see what happens over the next couple of days before I ring someone, I don’t want to get carried away (she says drafting several mumsnet posts so strangers on the internet can get carried away for her)

@mummatara make sure u get a fertility acupuncturist- I found mine through Zita West. I think with these eggs it's literally a game of Russian roulette. But there will be a good one in there xx

100% darker ❤️ but I will say when I miscarried at 6 weeks they got darker before lighter but that was 6 weeks not 4. Mine disappeared quickly at 4 weeks for a cp. eek good luck 🤞😊

@LuckyMoonstone again same as @MrsCristianoX mine disappeared quickly at 4 weeks with a chemical. It may get darker over a few days. But once you’d started bleeding I imagine it would get light fairly quickly tbh. When was it you took those tests and then when did you start bleeding again?

@bunnykins123 I'm off too and was eyeing up the wine but not indulging yet. Man I might need to if DH is still in form. Actually good job too because had to sort out a catastrophe at work via phone 🙄 Prosecco me would be like fuck it 😂

@Indianna2006 so my positive was last Monday, vvv faint line. Then started bleeding Tuesday, cramps only on Wednesday, heavy bleeding until Thursday then lighter Friday. From Saturday until yesterday it was really light, didn’t even wear a pad last night as it was only when I wiped. All gone today. That last test was at about 6 o’clock this evening. But like I said, it could be that if I’d taken one at the weekend it would’ve been darker than today. I won’t know until I do more tests 🫣

I’m sure I tested either weds or thurs morning and it was still a vv light frer

@LuckyMoonstone honestly I cannot see how if you had faint line a week ago. Bled and now a week later the line is stronger than a week ago 🙈🙈 like you said the line could of gotten bit stronger later. But still over a week for a line still being positive on a chemical is still quite a while. Especially as you started bleeding a week ago.

@LuckyMoonstone honestly I think you possibly could of had a bit of a heavier implantation bleed. As your tests were very light last Monday. Like the squint of the start of something. So it would kind of add up perhaps…🤞🏼🤞🏼 I am bloody crossing my fingers for you now.

If it was ectopic, surely I’d still be bleeding? And in pain? I’ve always been really scared of ectopic. I don’t have any other pregnancy symptoms anymore. Lower back ache and my nipples might hurt a tiny bit but not like last Monday when my boobs hurts soooo much

@LuckyMoonstone I don’t know much about ectopic. Deff test in morning again and maybe ring EPU or ring your Drs which an refer you. As if you’re worried about that they can try check etc. especially as by now if was something how far would you be 5 weeks etc?

@Indianna2006 going by date of my last period I’d be 5 and a bit, but from ovulation is only 2 and a bit.
Ive decided that I’ll ring 111 tomorrow if I do a test and it’s a strong line. They referred me to EPU last time and got me a scan. The hospital website does say I can self refer if I’ve been to the EPU before but it was like 3 years ago.

@LuckyMoonstone deffo do that. Do the FRER in the morning and let’s see how strong it is. Then may give us bit of a clearer answer as I’m not sure how strong the cheap strip tests you use get quickly. They normally take much longer than frers.
