@LuckyMoonstone mine did a telephone consultation and discussed exactly that! Its so frustrating how different NHS areas do different things. How does seeing your face help the diagnosis?! So TSH should be between 0.5 and 2.0. Normal guidelines are 0.5 - 4.5. I think Free T4 should also be below 20 so sometimes it helps to ask what exactly your levels are. Ah I see that's not so bad and at least it's all planned in though....Good luck 🤞🏼.

Mariabombia · 06/09/2022 19:03

@MrsCristiano that looks like a positive to me! It's not even that faint. When are you actually due on??

@bunnykins123 sorry to hear about your results but it's great if they can treat it easily! what tests did you do for the nk cells? Is it just bloods? Do you have any other symptoms of high nk cells? Do you get ill rarely? Sorry for all the qs!

@Indianna2006 lovely to hear you're doing well 💕

LuckyMoonstone · 06/09/2022 19:04

@FfayeN the service does seem to differ greatly depending on where you live. I’ve signed up for the nhs online account, just waiting for them to verify that stupid little video you have to take lol

LuckyMoonstone · 06/09/2022 19:07

@MrsCristiano I would be feeling quite excited if that was my test 🤞

FfayeN · 06/09/2022 19:12

@bunnykins123 I'm interested too. Did a lot of umming and arhhing before TTC again or getting tested for NK cells. If I have another MC I'll be going down that route too x

ChloeN · 06/09/2022 19:44

@MrsCristiano I would say that looks positive too! Hoping it is for you xx

Indianna2006 · 06/09/2022 20:04

@MrsCristiano same. I don’t think they can be an indent surely? Seems too strong!
although would think frer would detect something. Maybe your urine was far less concentrated.
if there indents that’s just messed up!

hopefully it isn’t!

MrsCristiano · 06/09/2022 20:12

Thanks girl 😘 I'll do another FRER tomorrow. I did take multiple pics but deleted them all in a rage earlier because I couldn't see anything. Sorry for polluting this thread with tests, if it's an indent I'm burning all my easy@homes 😂

bunnykins123 · 06/09/2022 20:34

@MrsCristiano I agree - that looks positive to me but would expect a FRER to pick it up by now if the easy ones are. Can you post your FRER?

@FfayeN @Mariabombia I got mine done through the NHS reoccurring miscarriage clinic. I don't think they are routinely tested in most trusts though, it seems to be because the top immunology guy heads up my trust. I had 3 consecutive early miscarriages hence the testing. It's just a blood test, they took a heap of vials though! I have absolutely no symptoms other than the miscarriages although 1 really stuck out - the day before I miscarried I had a fever and awful headache. I wonder now if that was my immune system saying 'nope' and attacking the beanie. I get colds like everyone else so I wouldn't say my immune system is in top condition! Still taking it all in, I'm not surprised but I am surprised (if you get me!!) ask as many questions as you like, I'll try to answer them!

MrsCristiano · 06/09/2022 20:39

@bunnykins123 so not technically savy. I can retrieve from iPad but not phone. iPad at home 🙄 hopefully tomorrow 🙏 xx my dad was prescribed prednisolone didn't use them all retuned them to me and I took 2*5mg. Bad practice I know 😢

FfayeN · 06/09/2022 20:42

@bunnykins123 thank you 🥰. I wondered if mine was because of my thyroid, however I'm assured by Prof Quenby and my gyno that hashimotos doesn't transfer into NK cells. As our last had trisomy we're giving it another go without any immune tests. If it happens again I'll be going down that route I think. So Coventry offer it under NHS as another trial, you do pay though towards it, and again, you risk the chance of a placebo. Be good to keep in touch though incase I end up that route too 😊.

Ahh bless you ! I wonder how that happens then, is it something you're just born with? Will your body do it every time or just sometimes? & can it stop you conceiving in the first place?

I've read a little bit on nk cells but I must admit it's all quite confusing & I don't fully understand it.

Really glad there's some meds you can take for it, will it lower your immune system then? Keep us updated on how you get on xx

pangolin84 · 06/09/2022 21:02

@bunnykins123 @FfayeN Ooh I like the sound of an implantation dip! Here’s hoping 🤞

pangolin84 · 06/09/2022 21:09

@MrsCristiano That does look positive to me too. A definite line there…. Hope it progresses 🤞Test anxiety is just the worst - it ends up being all you can think about!
Hope you’re still enjoying your holiday in spite of this 😊

MrsCristiano · 06/09/2022 21:33

@pangolin84 yes lovely 😊 had a meltdown earlier but only lasted an hou. Got the Spanish version to use tomorrow god help me 🙏

@MrsCristiano I'm rooting for you, certainly looks promising to me! 😀💪🤞

pangolin84 · 06/09/2022 22:12

Good luck @MrsCristiano !

TheBirdintheCave · 06/09/2022 23:03

@MrsCristiano Wow! Definitely a positive line on that test! With my last pregnancy the Easy @ Home tests and Clear Blue Ultra Early both showed positive whilst the FRER was too pale to photograph. FRER are definitely not as good as they used to be.

Can't wait to see your next test! :D

Cindy974 · 07/09/2022 07:29

Hi ladies

So glad to see you have had some test results back, @LuckyMoonstone Im just as confused as you! Everything came back normal except my hormone profile which the doctor wants to discuss with me next week. Ive been able to access my results online.

From what Ive tried to make out nothing looks abnormal to me but obviously I’m not a doctor 🤣. Im so impatient though is anyone any good at knowing what’s normal or not with these results?
Serum TSH level 1.72 mu/L [0.27 - 4.2]
Serum follicle stimulating hormone level 6.7 u/L
Serum LH level 2.5 u/L
Serum oestradiol level 243 pmol/L
Serum progesterone level 43.8 nmol/L
Serum prolactin level 119 mu/L [59.0 - 619.0]
Serum testosterone level 0.4 nmol/L [0.7 - 2.8]

I used to have a condition called a prolactinoma when I was 15 which was treated with medication over 5 years and the tumour did go away and periods returned to normal. I was worried this had returned but I think my prolactin levels look in the normal range.

At the top of these results it just says abnormal please see GP so obviously now I’m worrying 🙄Still waiting for my first period post miscarriage too

@bunnykins123 Im glad to hear you have had some answers and hope this treatment is exactly what you need 💕

Thanks in advance x

bunnykins123 · 07/09/2022 07:33

@MrsCristiano good luck today girlie - got everything crossed for you 🤞🤞

@Mariabombia I don't really know. I did some research last night but became so overwhelmed by it all that I went to bed at 9am. I'll try and do a bit more research today. I think I'm short, we all have NK cells buy some people have higher cells which means they attack the foetus as they see it as a foreign object. I think she is a factor too from what I've read. I guess so yes, which means I'll get absolutely everything DD gets now 😭 of course I'll keep you updated!

@FfayeN my understanding from my limited research last night that its an age / autoimmune thing. Is hashimos a autoimmune thing? I don't have any autoimmune issues but I do have a really really sore toe (lolzzz) that developed at Christmas and has never got better since. I did wonder about arthritis.Yes of course, keep in touch - I'm not going anywhere 💕

@LuckyMoonstone that's mad they today you that. I think you really need to advocate for yourself and push for medication if they throw the 'lifestyle' solution at you. Absolutely ridiculous!

bunnykins123 · 07/09/2022 07:35

@Mariabombia bloody autocorrect butchered my response. Here it is again (making a bit more sense!)

LuckyMoonstone · 07/09/2022 07:36

Unfortunately I can’t see my test results on my nhs account, only my prescription history (was an interesting read!). Apparantly I have to contact my gps for access to my ‘coded records’ or something? Might as well not bother now and just wait for my appointment 😅
I have had a horrible cold the last couple of days, I feel terrible. Thank god it’s come after ovulation though

bunnykins123 · 07/09/2022 07:41

@Cindy974 I think looking at your results, they look good. What day did you have them taken? The only things that stick out that they may want to discuss is whether your progesterone is high for day 3? Prolactin looks good so I don't think you need to worry about that. Have a look at this website, it explains the results in more detail: drmeaghandishman.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/08/Dr.-Dishman-Female-Fertility-Labs-Explained.pdf

Cindy974 · 07/09/2022 07:47

@bunnykins123 thank you so much for your help, I thought they looked okay too! Well the blood tests were done three weeks after my medical management according to my flo app it would be 9dpo but obviously this could be skewed due to my miscarriage as I’m still waiting for my period x

Chellooo · 07/09/2022 08:10

@MrsCristiano fingers and toes, hope this is your time!!!

Ladies can I ask your experience with the clearblue opk. I usually use the pink ones, the 2 day ones. But decided to splash out and try the purples this month. I am currently day 8, not expected to ovulate until about day 15.

Been getting empty circles past 2 days, then this morning full static smiley...this threw me as its wayyy too early...
So thought I'd try one of my old pink ones to see if I got the same result and it's coming up a blank circle.

How can one be static and one blank?!
