@MrsCristiano you're right! Plus they also seem a bit flimsy in comparison to the easy ones. I'm defo sacking off the one step ones once I've finished the pack (I have a LOT too 🫣)

@bunnykins123 I haven't been referred to the recurrent miscarriage clinic. Only two confirmed losses. Im in NI. I like a good sturdy strip!

I'm a community pharmacist and some of our stores have had issues getting cyclogest thankfully I've no one on that but it scary how many shortages there are ☹️

Woop 0.79 this morning with easy@home! But only 0.39 with the one step so I’m glad I’m going by the easy@home ones now haha

@LuckyMoonstone YAY 🙌🏻 great news!!! Make sure to test in the afternoon aswell. That seems pretty close to a peak though, (which I think is anything that's double your base level, it varies person to person).
Are you using the premom app too?

Morning!! Just been reading some of your posts about testing.

What's everyone's opinion on them? What do they actually test for? How much are they to get done privately , are they invasive tests? Where do you get them done privately?

I've had 1 mc so I know the advice is not to get tested as it's most likely just 'bad luck' but part of me thinks if it's just a blood test why wouldn't I get this done just in case there is an issue...

Maybe Im just thinking negatively about it all! 🤔

@LuckyMoonstone wahooo!!! Weirdly, I always thought one step was quite sensitive but it seems they aren't. Is this your peak now?

@Mariabombia I think everyone is different in reasons for getting tested. I'm getting tested as I've had 3 early losses since DD so I'm sure there is something not quite right. If you were to be tested now, it would be private as the NHS won't test until 3 or more. If you did decide to go private, you would probably need to go to a fertility clinic. It also depends on how far you want to test - basic bloods will cost you around £150 but then if you bring in sticky blood tests, that's around £350/£450, scans around £150 and then the more complex testing such as immunes £750, hysteroscopy over 1k and probably a few more I can't think of!

@MrsCristiano that's really scary. I heard the same for HRT cream too. Could you smuggle a few pred into your jacket when nobodies looking 😂 I knoooow you can't...but maybe? 😉

Currently 20dpo making me on cd35 no sign of AF at all except for my short temper and resting b1tch face apparently 😂

@bunnykins123 yeah I should think so, it could possibly be higher tonight but I think it definitely will have dropped off in the morning. @Luna57 CD24!! Which I guess is slightly better than last cycle, CD28, but still not ideal

@LuckyMoonstone yes!!! I'd make sure you test twice a day now at least just to catch the peak, but that's just me! I test until I know it's gone down again.
@Mariabombia might be worth just having basic bloods done by your GP. Otherwise what @bunnykins123 said 😘
Oh no @Luna57, is it possible you didn't ovulate when you thought you did? After MC I had a couple of rises (I kept testing) and AF came roughly 14 days after the 2nd rise, meaning the first rise was a 'dud' peak xx

@FfayeN haha same here I keep testing regularly until I can see it falling again and my BBT has confirmed O, then I can feel assured it’s happened👍 good job those opks come in big packs

I've had basic bloods & ultrasound for fertility, all okay. Just trying to weigh up whether to do some private testing. I suppose the sticky blood one would be the next thing to check.

@LuckyMoonstone I'm just really tired. Like zombie tired. Boobs a little achy but nothing dramatic. I don't even know how many dpo I am thinking 6? Too early for symptoms I know

@MrsCristiano it is early but tiredness is one of the earliest signs. All those hormones! I’m super tired today too, can’t stop yawning, I haven’t slept well the last couple of nights. Hope your day gets better x

Thanks everyone for the supportive messages yesterday re my ex announcing pregnancy. Can’t quite believe this but its taken a different turn today and he text me to say that she has also had an MMC and in hospital today 😥

@MrsCristiano I am also around 6DPO and feel like I have zero energy. Like you though feels too early to have any symptoms.

@Mariabombia According to my gyno the APS/lupus (sticky blood) test shouldn't be done sooner than 12 weeks after MC, just incase you're thinking of it privately.

I gave up with the DTD after day nine (I think my husband is very glad!). It seems like O has either silently happened or it's just not going to this month.

I'm going to go with last Friday as the guessed O day as I had a slight niggle then and things seemed to dry up after that. That would make me 6dpo today with testing next Wednesday at 12dpo. The wait begins I suppose!

@LuckyMoonstone buzzing for you that it’s come earlier! When I first came off the pill in 2020 I didn’t ovulate til cd27 after my first real AF so I feel your pain 😂

@FfayeN i think it’s the MC that’s just messed everything up for me. I missed testing on cd13 but cd14 I got a positive opk and then after that the tests went negative so I put down I had O cd15 I had lots of EWCM and O pain over that period too. I haven’t tested OPK Since cd19 so not sure about LH levels but I never had EWCM I had very watery cm and lots of it but there was no stretch to it and only the last couple days my cm has gone creamy so I haven’t a baldy what’s going on. I’m not sure I actually ovulated as I don’t temp but I think I had an LH rise and possibly tried to ovulate 🤷🏼‍♀️

@Luna57 yeah it's quite possible! Hopefully AF will hurry up so you can start at 1 again🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼 (I assume you weren't TTC and so haven't done a pregnancy test?)
That's a mammoth effort @TheBirdintheCave , everything is crossed for next Wednesday 🤞🏼.
