I think I am going to feel exactly the same when AF turns up this month. Just know it is not going to be our month. And, although I am mega pleased for my bro, I really wnated to join him with my own BFP.

Oh CoolKat, I've been there - You just cant wait and then you do it and you kick yourself because it just feels so horrid cos its a BFN. Lets just hope it was too soon and your AF has gone away on a 9 month holiday!!! LOL
Told my DH about the sex for fun tomorrow and his face was a picture! Yes please was the answer! LOL Forget how pressured it feels for him too sometimes...

Hi everyone

Having got my hopes properly up they have now been squashed down again as I suspect my "symptoms" are less to do with any little eggs and more to do with the filthy cold I have developed. And I have to go to work tomorrow. Grrr.

I have a pain low down in my tummy, but it is to the right so I suspect is swollen glands. And I am tired. The only thing that is at all interesting is that I have lots of cm and it is white and stringy, not like that globby ov stuff, more little rubbery bits. I keep wondering if I have wet myself (silly cow forgetting to do pelvic floors during previous pregnancy) and then just finding lots of cm. Sorry, sorry, too much information, I know. Apologies to all who have been put off their Pot Noodles.

Anyway, enough of my self-absorbed rant. I hope everyone is well and enjoying their sex for fun... I assume that is why the thread is so very quiet.

HCB JollyBear so sorry AF is on her way . You have a very long luteal phase which is good news for future implantation. Hope the course is going ok and at least you haven't had to endure BFN.>

TF Well do noT know cycle length and it will be 30 days on Friday. Don't know when ovulated . I will see what the next week brings.

EI, reflexology is great just for general relaxation and well being, doesn't your dh know that
cd18 for me today, still don't think I've ovulated, boobs are still heavy and sore and haven't had the discomfort I can feel when I do. What is the average time between ovulation and af arriving? My last 2 cycles have been 31 and 30 days.

I cracked and wasted on of my cheap AD tests this morning - BFN naturally, since I am 9dpo. I am wonderng how good they are though, given that the OPKs never turned positive for me and I ended up using Clearblue instead.

The bugger is that this cold is giving me all sorts of symptoms. This morning I woke up at 4am and was absolutely ravenous, which was what I did in very early pregnancy before. I wish it would go away so I could go back to imagining symptoms instead of having fake ones foisted upon me.

I started to feel like I wasn't pg so I did another test this am and it was BFN. Can't say that I'm surprised. Not sure if we will try again straight away or not.

AF arrived with full force this morning and temps dropped accordingly so back to CD1 of a 36-40 day cycle for me

Am disappointed but it would have been pretty amazing if we conceived on cycle 1 after all.

I was away with work yesterday and then my friend had drinks for her 40th Birthday so I didn't get to check in. I am rushing off this morning so I have scanned the posts but haven't had a good read.

OK, quickly, news....

Dr The bad news - Brownfield was busy so now (.)(.) exam .

Another doctor saw me....and he was nice. He read my records and said that 18 months was ages He is sending me for the day 21 test (that I am having on day 22 cos in France on day 21 ) and DP has a container to put his swimmers in and then he has to drop them off at hospital. Then he is sending me for more tests don't know what they are yet though . He said we need to check that I am ovulating first, although he says it sounds like I am . He went on to say that we should be doing it every other day not just concentrating on ov. as if you don't do it regularly the swimmers develop some kind of antibodies and I think that then means they don't like the eggs as much. This part I am going to find difficult, the last few months have been a military operation and our attitude to sex is pretty bad at the moment, but as it is valentines day today we are going to try to be more romantic .

Sorry this is a me post. I will try and read up later and check on how everyone is doing. Mrs Ei liking the new name

Af turned up early for me this month

Used to long cycles but can anyone explain what causes a much shorter cycle than normal?

Was 26 days this month, have never had one so short..very confused..

Also means that we have a REALLY long stretch of CD's to try and BD over as my cycles have ranged from this 26 day one to a 35 day one with lots in between...I don't think we have the energy to have sex that much!!

Any advice welcomed. Bucky did you stick with the healthy eating plan? Am pretty convinced I have some degree of PCOS so am trying to combat it with healthy eating and low GI foods...have another few months to go before I can start going to doctors to ask for explanations..

As for me, I had a tiny bit of red spotting on Tuesday (which I'm still very much hoping was an implantation bleed)and this morning I had a faint but definite metallic taste in my mouth.

Hopelessly over-excited. Also quite hungover which I feel bad about - but it's OK to drink until you've had a definite BFP isn't it?

Think I'll test on Saturday (4 days before AF is due) and then again on Wed if AF hasn't arrived by then.

MOB i have tried to persuade DH that the relexology is for relaxation purposes but he isnt having any of it he has read over my shoulder a few times-enough to suss out that it is a TTC aid and he thinks it will spur on my obsession it probably will though so hes not wrong

doghouse sorry AF got you , even in the early cycles it is still very disappointing.
Swaliswan was it a different brand of test ? did you use FMU ? Don't give up, although I appreciate it must be difficult, so sorry
ScaryHairy sorry for BFN but you have tested too early, your symptoms sound really promising. You'll just have to sit on your hands (or I'll come over there and hold you down) and step away from the HPTs for a couple of days I know, I know easier said than done.

I have zero symtpoms which is very disappointing - 6dpo and not a sniff of a sore boob or a crampy tum - RUBBISH ! I think as from the weekend will just start making them up as am bored having nothing to report !
