I would have thought you would be OK if Clearblue Digital said negative as I think they are v accurate.

It would pick up the hormone 14 days after ovulation I think - do the maths sound right?

Sorry if I'm not much help.

GryffinGirl · 04/02/2008 17:20

woweeee, can't keep up with you busy bees today. Such activity on the 2WW thread has not been seen in a while

Firstly, apologies for being a bit melodramatic with my earlier posts. Was quite upset at the time with DH, but now feel to have unloaded all that on you ladies. Thanks for putting up with me

I hadn't realised there were so many sore backs here - bad news bucky and mrsei, but hoep you feel better soon. Did the chiropractor do any good?

Big welcome to pinky and please stay as long as you need (always hoping your stay is a short one

hello Jollybear _ I couldn't remember whether it was this month you were sitting out because of your tests. Wishing you lots of luck whenever they are. Hope all is well with you

hello to willmouse and *twinkling and anyone else

pinky36 · 04/02/2008 17:22

sorry, back again, doin tea and helpin kids with homework, oh god cud i cope with another 1? Another symptom is really achy calfs? Weird or just something totally unrelated, have i just lost the plot and lookin for random symtoms!

pinky36 · 04/02/2008 17:28

willmouse yes I thought that, and then I've read lots of debates about CB tests on other threads, and that first response were better for an earlier result! I had 3 neg CB tests with my first baby, and then got a positive at the docs!

Its so great to offload to you guys, i,ve been goin crazy here amazed DH hasn't noticed, but then again there not ones for multi tasking lol!

MrsPuddleduck · 04/02/2008 17:32

LOL re DH. He must know I am late - in fact he does - we were supposed to go to Alton Towers at the weekend and I refused to go on the basis that I wouldn't spend £31 to feel uncomfortable if AF arrived.

I wonder when he will realise......

twinklingfairy · 04/02/2008 17:35

ooh willmouse your late too?

MrsPuddleduck · 04/02/2008 18:12

I am also late (by about a week - perhaps a bit less). I have tested once and got a BFN byt AF still hasn't arrived.

I have just noticed that my boobs must be bigger as the underwire in my bra has made under my arms sore

pinky36 · 04/02/2008 19:05

willmouse r u normally quite regular then! What test did u use?

07mumstheword · 04/02/2008 19:37

Just dropping in before DH takes laptop from me

Thank you so much for your congrats. It still hasn't sunk in yet and I'm still terrified of CP I'm praying it's 3rd time lucky.

Shazza & Sarahnh How wonderful to hear from you. It's so nice of you to pop in with your congrats. I'm so pleased everything is going well for you.

And YES I did do reflexology, only 1 session in my first week of this cycle and I'm due another this Thursday so I'm hoping she will press all the right nerves etc to make this one stick My reflexologist lady specialises in pregnancy and labour so lets hope she can work wonders.

MrsPuddleduck · 04/02/2008 19:43

I am reasonably regular. Usually 28 days. I have gone over by a few days a couple of times but never by a week.

I have just had to change my bra

I used the cheap Tesco tests (2 for £3ish)

I think I will buy a better one if I have to test again.

MrsEi25 · 04/02/2008 19:53

willmouse go and get yourself a clearblue digital

Hi everyone

I've been a bit down the past few weeks so have been avoiding this thread as I didn't feel like sharing the misery! (nothing major, probably feeling crap because it was January and because of my misreable low carb diet. Nothing a bun won't cure).

Anyway, I should (from tomorrow) be on my 2ww and in the meantime I can see I have got a lot of catching up to do.

Congratulations 07 - that's lovely news. Does anyone else have good news for me?

Ei - have you had any more fab dreams lately?

ScaryHairy · 04/02/2008 20:16

Ooooh - forgot to mention. Today I did 2 OPKs - same sample of wee - one clearblue digital and one Access Diagnostics.

I did this because I have been using AD cheapies for the last couple of weeks and while there has been a second line a couple of times it is not as dark or darker than the control line. And I was sure I was ovulating from the extraordinary amount of EWCM I saw.

Anyway, the Clearblue was positive, the AD was not. So if you are using AD OPKs you may need to keep an eye on symptoms too...

MrsEi25 · 04/02/2008 20:23

hi scaryhairy nice to see you sorry that you have been feeling a bit down of late... did you know that statistically there are more reported cases of anxiety and depression in january not that you have either of these but it isnt uncommon to have the blues around this time of year and whatever your problems may be we are always here to help if you need us good to hear you are just about on the 2ww...ready to symptom spot like mad??

ScaryHairy · 04/02/2008 20:33

Hello Ei - nice to see you too. I had a feeling I wasn't the only hater of January around!

I will be spotting, although I am planning to take it a bit easy this cycle. Last time I managed to convince myself I was pregnant which was really not very clever!

Ok, I say that now but seriously, give it a few days and I will have imaginary implantation pains, morning sickness, sore boobs (from all the prodding) and the rest!

scully · 04/02/2008 23:53

Can't remember who asked, but chiropractors are fine when you are pregnant, I saw one through both of my pregnancies. I would tell them though that you are ttc, in case you are, depending on what they are doing.
But bding is always good for a bad back
Good to hear you are feeling a little better GG, have you and dh talked anymore about things?
Scary, a low carb diet, that's enough to make anyone depressed
So who is next to test, out of the late people?

MrsEi25 · 05/02/2008 00:12

wow scully is it morning already?? i cant think of a worse activity to be doing than BDing at the mo!! my pain has migrated slightly to the right and set up camp in my lower back/hip!! i think im goin to move my docs appointment to tomorrow or wed!! its gettin on my nerves now stupid bloody weak effin muscles!!

Can you see an osteopath or chiropractor or a bowen therapist ei? I've been seeing a chiropractor since I was 12 (so that's 25yrs, shhh). Am so glad my parents had the common sense to avoid surgery, like all the doctors were recommending, would have been the worst thing for me, as I was still growing. Can't remember the proper name for what I have, but one of my lower vertebrae didn't form properly so my lower back/pelvis etc slowly moves out of alignment over time, so I see a chiropractor every few months for a maintenance visit.
How is everyone today?

pinky36 · 05/02/2008 09:25

willmouse

AF came last night,i felt relief at the time, but this morning feel differently, i feel really low! Dont no why as wasn't ttc. So how abt u, have u done a cb digital yet, my result was accurate with the last one i did.

MrsPuddleduck · 05/02/2008 09:31

Sorry about AF Pinky. I was quite happy with things until I was in a similar situation back in October and I was so upset when AF arrived I decided that I didn't want to wait after all. Having said that look where it's got me!

I haven't done a clearblue digital yet - are they the ones which say 'pregnant' or 'not pregnant' - they sound best to me. Do they also pick up the hormone early?

I am on CD36 now. I tested on CD33 and got a BFP with a Tesco cheapie. That said I don't think I ov'd this cycle until around 23rd Jan - so that is 13 days ago. I am thinking that I should wait a few more days on that basis.

MrsPuddleduck · 05/02/2008 09:39

So are you ttc now Pinky???!!!

Sorry, I am lurking around!

mibbes · 05/02/2008 10:19

JollyBear HCB any plan to test soon - you must be at least 10dpo now...?
MrsEi well did you...?
Pinky I know how you feel as I had a PG "scare" in October last year when we weren't ttc, but when AF came I was surprised to find I was disappointed, that is what has prompted us to ditch the contraception . I believe that things happen for a reason and I wonder whether my body was trying to tell me something as time is ticking on for me but I was just ignoring the clock !
ScaryHairy lovely to see you again - let the symptom spotting commence... Well actually after MTW got her BFP symptoms are soo last season - we are now hoping for no symptoms as a definite sign that BFP on the way !!!
Could the FF ladies please advise. TMI alert - What should I put into FF if I have a mainly sticky day then have 1 stretchy CM wipe at night ? I feel that if I enter EWCM it suggests have been having it all day which is not the case atall, don't want to mislead FF ! Had another cloudy stretchy CM wipe this morning so it looks like my CM-improving efforts are paying off ! Still no +ve opk, maybe today. Oohhh this part is so much more exciting than the first 2 boring weeks !

JollyBear · 05/02/2008 10:38

Hello all,

SH nice to see you back

bucky MrsE I hope your backs are better soon.

GG It is my next cycle I'll have to sit out because of my scan .

mibbes FF says that you should record the MOST fertile CM that you have experienced in a day so even if you have a bit of EWCM then you should record it as such. I sometimes think there should be more options, levels of EWCM etc

Well remembered mibbes HCB! I'm on CD12 now but had a BFN yesterday. I was really miserable about it last night but this morning my temp rose to it's highest ever (36.97 - toasty!) and has given me hope again. I'm like this at the mo: I could be... I'm not... You were silly for getting your hopes up... could I be... .

MrsPuddleduck · 05/02/2008 10:52

Jollybear - perhaps it was a bit too early to test. Don't give up hope.

Can you get a BFP on day CD12?!

JollyBear · 05/02/2008 11:02

I meant days past ov (DPO) not cd sorry. It was a bit early willmouse although some lucky ladies do get a BFP on 9DPO

Are you going to retest? You have much more willpower than me obviously!!
