Oooh, my first big thread

May I begin by saying I wish you all the bestest of luck!

Ok, shall I attempt to update the list?

Sam EFFING HELL, now you're OVER active! were you on too high meds? Wow! I wish I could lose over a stone! I'm sure having an over-active thyroid isn't the best way to go about it though

Nope, I haven't got a monitor. I would love one but with my long cycles it wouldn't be worth splashing out the cash. I've been using the sticks, just cos they were so cheap and I thought they might give me some sort of clue about my cycles but been using them for a week now and all neg CD20something now (I've lost count and can't be bothered to check). I actually thought I was Oving but who knows eh, who blardy knows [bored/fed up emoticon]

Kate thanks for trying you are a love .
Emmsy anything to report today ?
Sambrads sorry no hatching but all the best on the clomid - have read loads of great stories about it on MN

SydneyB · 16/01/2008 18:37

Sambrads SO sorry to hear that it hasn't worked out this cycle. But if I'm right, you're on your 1st cycle of Clomid right and perhaps it takes a while to work? Bummer, though. A v. good friend of mine got successful cycle 2 with Clomid after two years of TTC (not that you want to wait that long!) so hopefully the same will happen to you.

mumstheword - thanks for age-related reassurance! Glad to hear I'm not quite over the hill yet.. Am I right in thinking that it also depends on when your period started? Mine started when I was nearly 14 so hopefully there's a few eggs left in there. Too scared to try Fertell or something as it'll just worry me!

sambrads · 16/01/2008 19:06

thanks everyone for your support its great and i am starting to think positive!!!

this is my 9th cycle now so maybe its my turn!!!!!!!

fruitloop seriously this overactive thyroid is alot worse!!!!

Emmsy1 · 16/01/2008 21:22

sambrads sorry no egg this month, I hope your turn comes soon xx
sydneyB I didn't have my first until I was nearly 35!
mibbes hiya {{{waves to cycle buddy}}} no sign of AF yet, boobs still sore and another BFN! Mt temp went up this morning so I think I may have only 'O' yesterday, my OPK's arrived this afternoon and it showed a darkish line, not quite as dark as the test line, but still dark! This tally's with the temp rise this morning, unfortunately we haven't B/D for 4 days because of DH shifts, he had a day off today, so I grabbed him and made him produce the goods, (so to speak!) probably too late if I 'O' yesterday, but thought I would give it a go anyway! Still can't understand why my boobs have been sore thoughIf I did 'O' yesterday, then I would be due AF on day 50 cos I usually get AF 13 days after 'O'

Emmsy1 · 16/01/2008 21:34

mibbes have just googled ovulation symptoms and found that sore boobs can be one of them, so that answered my question!

07mumstheword · 16/01/2008 22:01

Sydney I have no idea on that one! My periods started when I was 11 so I hope not.

07mumstheword · 16/01/2008 22:03

Oh and I've been out tonight for my first weigh in at fat club and I lost 3lb but I came home and had a packet of crisps and some chocolate, how daft is that! I will start again tomorrow.

Here is today's list ladies. I have retrieved KD73 as she seemed to have dropped off - if she asked to be removed and I missed it apologies.
Well Emmsy we are on CD39, this is getting ridiculous , are you testing every day ? I will test at weekend of still no AF. Am starting to think either had a very late ov in which case no bd'ing or anovulatory cycle

{grin] congrats Never!!!!

Have popped you onto the grad list!

I've been told that you don't need to worry about brown spotting as it's implantation...they do say with women who have had a baby before their cervix never fully closes, so some old blood could have come out during implantation.

Neveronamonday BFP 16 Jan [CD? Cycle 2 TTC#2]

Hi everyone and a big congratulations to neveronamonday!

AF has finally arrived here so I can now say for sure that I am on CD1. I've put down Cycle 1 against my name but TBH I'm still not sure whether I want to ttc right now....umms and ahhs. My preference (and has been for awhile) is to wait until summer before ttc but I think DH has other plans...we're going to be having some building work done in April/May and it will entail lots of dust, cleaning up, decorating, etc, etc, and I guess I would like to be fully functional during this time...hmmm more umming and ahhhing

07mumstheword · 17/01/2008 08:55

WOW Neveronamonday what a lovely for you! Congratulations Try not to worry about the spotting I have heard this can be normal, probably old blood if it is a brownie colour.

Welcome Flum if you let us know your CD and cycle we can add you to the list.

07mumstheword · 17/01/2008 09:02

Halycondays Difficult decision. All I can say is that we kept putting TTC off due to our wedding then my brothers wedding in Italy last year and I had no idea that I would end up in cycle 10 with no baby bean yet. But if you are not ready sods law would probably prevail (sp?) [

I had hoped to have a spring/summer baby but for us it is just not possible to plan and so long as I get one I don't care when it is born now

fruitloop79 · 17/01/2008 09:31

Morning ladies
Wow, this is like a daily event now all these BFP! Congratulations Neveronamonday! you must be thrilled . And only on cycle two you clever girly!

On a sad note: I've started a thread for one of my lovely friends who lost her new born baby niece last week to Group B strep. At the moment you can only be offered the swab test privately. It isn't offered on the NHS so how are people to know about it? I'm sure people would pay anything for the test if they just knew about it.
It's such a simple test and if it's found to be present, can be treated easily with anti-biotics. Please have a look and sign the petition for Downing Street and/or join the Facebook support group
Thanks guys

Catch ya later

Congratulations neveronamonday - fantastic news! Knew I wouldn't be at the bottom of the grad list for very long on this thread! How many DPO do you think you are?

Thanks for the links Fruitloop, so sorry to hear about your friend's LO. Have signed up.

Hello mibbes and emmsy while you're still on this cycle I still think of you as my cycle buddies, hope that's ok!

Hi MLL how are you doing today? Are they going to offer you am early scan following your mc? (Sorry if you've already answered that, thread too long to go back & check!) IT WILL NOT HAPPEN TO US AGAIN!! Don't worry about EWCM, I didn't notice any either, am only sure of dates because of temping. Am keeping everything crossed for us both xx

MissusH · 17/01/2008 10:42

Hurrah - more BFPs - it's a stampede, I tell ya!

Congrats Becaroo DG Kate and NOAM

All good here - on cd 28, still no symptoms at all and not entirely sure when AF is due to turn up (my last cycle was 35 days - was getting a bit excited, but the one before that was 28 days. then 30, 30, 31).

I reckon I'll hold off testing until next weekend if it doesn't turn up. Luckily I am really busy at work and just starting WW has me obsessing over that instead!

Congrats Neveronamonday. Hoping this lucky thread spreads some of it luck my way. I know EXACTLY what you mean, Pistachio! Why does it do my head in whenever another girl from my antenatal group gets pg? Envy I guess.

JollyBear · 17/01/2008 12:09

Congrats neveronamonday!

Still waiting for AF over here CD37

glastochick · 17/01/2008 12:35

Well done neveronamonday . Congratulations!

fruitloop, I have joined your facebook group . Great idea. Have invited a few friends to join too.

No signs yet of OV even though on day 15. Hope it happens soon! Actually looking forward to sore (.)(.) this month - I know we've been actively BD'ing so there should be plenty of swimmers waiting for the egg

Emmsy · 17/01/2008 12:53

Hi girls,& Congrats to NOAM! Kate we don't mind you still being our CB! (once a cycle buddy, always a cycle buddy
mibbes still no AF, am testing daily (stupidly twice today!) Im certain that I only 'O' on day 37 so should try to save money now and hold on until at least 10dpo,(which is in another 8 days, but its so bloody hard,I think I am addicted to testing! DH would be very annoyed with me if he knew how much money I keep spending on these tests.I don't buy the expensive ones but it all adds up. (cheapies have always been reliable with me!)Temp still above coverline
