Hi!
Making a thread looking for some company/support
I'm currently going into cycle 4, trying to conceive baby 1.
Looking for others in similar situation.
Beginning to feel a bit deflated now, as I am sure many many others are too.
Trying some things different this cycle to hopefully get a BFP
•ordered an Ovusense core
•carrying on with my reflexology weekly
•Trying the SMEP method
•Hot water bottle after ovulation as I read someone else done on here
•carrying on with my supplements

Any other advice/recommendations/suggestions welcome

May April be the months of lots of BFP's 🌟.x

@alwaysseeingstars how bizarre if that's the case! I really hope it isn't.. I don't need a month break! Sounds silly... but if I dont have a peak and ovulate how will AF come? my minds in overdrive... x

@RMS0209 I think it's something to do with the levels of the hormones, so it's not a 'proper' AF but very similar. (I'm defo not a Dr though so please don't take my word for that, haha!). It's called anovulation I believe, I had this a lot in the first couple of years after my first period and they said I would grow out of it but that it can happen to any woman at any time - often caused by stress, your body weight etc (which is reassuring rather than a medical reason!). This may be NOTHING to do with what is happening to you though, it could just be a really long cycle for some reason - keep smiling x

@alwaysseeingstars ah! ok cool, thank you very much..I was going to end up down a rabbit hole in google, just so strange and frustrating the month I had a plan and felt hopeful - boo hoo, but as you say it might still come yet so still dancing and staying optimistic! I've been a little stressed but I wouldnt have thought as much as that.. we will see :)

@RMS0209 I wouldn't bother with Google either, there's no way of knowing 100% what's going on in there haha! Just keep doing what you're doing :) x

TWW good luck! My bleeding has stopped 🤷‍♀️ gonna investigate Mira, Ava and ovusense. No ordering it this week with DH off work 😂

@MrsGrealish ooh nice! You did do well :) Gosh I miss a good shopping trip... bought a new house and are doing a full renovation (not easy whilst living in it! V glad to have the bathroom back 😂 ) but it's meant every spare penny has gone on that. Don't want to be too hopeful but would love my next good shopping trip to be for baby stuff! Gotta have dreams eh...
Ah you can still investigate though haha! So many different options, v hard to know what to go for. How many days were you bleeding for, did it turn into a 'normal' AF in the end?

I am 2DPO today so hoping for good news in 2 weeks!

A few years ago I wasn't ovulating at all and having a period every few months. I found reflexology a big help I think you mentioned it before? Might be worth a go. I am going every 2 weeks at the moment. Don't know if it is doing anything but I enjoy it anyway!

@alwaysseeingstars not really. A hell of a lot more painful than usual. I know we passed the mamas and papas shop yesterday nearly broke my neck trying to look away. Scared to temp fate😅 would absolutely love a new house but the prices are ridiculous at the mo..maybe think about doing the kitchen up after Greece 😊 hopefully pregnant with a little baby 'ouzo' 😂😂

Anyone has BFN negative on FRER at 9DPO and go on to have BFP?

@MrsGrealish I definitely wouldn't recommend house renovation whilst TTC, definitely bad effect on the bedroom antics 😂ah very jealous of the Greece holiday, would be amazing if you could conceive whilst away!! Does it fall nicely over your next FW? 😊
@QueenBee22 ah we're together in the TWW 😊are you an early tester or good with waiting till AF? After the chemical last month I want to wait but I'm sure I'll feel differently closer to the time!!
@Hjudge56 Sorry I've not had this, but 9DPO is still very early for a positive so keep that hope up!

@RMS0209 this is what I'm trying to understand too with this bleed as if I didn't ovulate what is causing it... To be fair it's so lighter than usual, I guess because my body didn't build it up? Who knows... I hope you get your peak soon, keeping everything crossed.
My progesterone test that I did supposedly 7 days before my period should shed some light (given I started spotting after the test on the same day!)

Someone at work who I'm close to was like ARE YOU SURE YOU ARENT PREGNANT, they shouldn't encourage me really. I should only be 9 DPO, I might do a test tomorrow just to completely write it off.

@MrsGrealish how long was your bleed? Get an ovusense and then we can all compare lol. @Peonies94 didn't know there was a thread! I'm excited, mine arrives tomorrow!

@alwaysseeingstars thank you! I have lots of symptoms so if it is BFN I really don’t think I will take any symptoms to heart next time 😫

@alwaysseeingstars I was an early tester but am trying my best to hold out now this month until AF is due. Can't handle the disappointment of all the negatives. We can do it!

@QueenBee22 yes 💪my app is showing as AF being due 1st May, not sure if I trust it as I've always been irregular and since having the coil out I've only had odd cycles, so we will see!

I’m negative at 9DPO as well. However still cramping and back ache and sore nips (first thing I check in the morning) spoke to one of the Dr’s at work this morning and he said it’s possible to get a positive before your missed period however, to hold off as long as you can. So I’m going to try and hold off until Sunday (12DPO) xx

ive got the worst cramp on the right side which just seems to be there permanently opposed to twinging every now and again! I did Google 9DPO symptoms and it said the most common one is cramping! Just more of a dull ache so I’m not sure what that means!

@Hjudge56 my cramps appear to be on the left side. Stomach is so tight from the bloat - even opening my bowels is not aiding it 🙃😩 and I keep having some waves of nausea, not bad but I’ll think ‘ooh’.
I felt my cervix this morning and it’s still deffo high (which I’ve also googled) honestly I’m making myself crazy 🤣🤣 x

@Kitchiekobo sounds like we’re in a very similar boat so it’s going to be very interesting what our fate is this month! When is AF due for you again?

haha yes I did read this about the cervix too! I’m unsure on position but mine is defo soft opposed to feeling firm!

Just to add confusion to the 'when did I ovulate' question... I've never noticed EWCM and today (2 or 3 DPO) I just had some in my undies? I'm pretty confident I did ovulate what with the pains and the static CB, and ever since they've been negative.. 🤔Now very confused, anyone had this before?

@alwaysseeingstars i have definitely read that EWCM really differs person to person. Some have it for a few hours and some have it the days running up to ovulation and after!

@Hjudge56 i don’t know when my period is due as this is my first month coming off of the pill. So I literally have no idea 🤣 it’s been 2 weeks since I stopped so we‘ll see…
When are you due? When will you test again?

I’m due Tuesday according to the Flo app! So I actually bulk bought some tests so I’m going to test for the next few mornings! When will you test again?

The Ava is a definite no go. I hate wearing stuff in my sleep. And that is as far as my research has gone
