RMS0209 · 29/03/2022 09:43

Hi!
Making a thread looking for some company/support
I'm currently going into cycle 4, trying to conceive baby 1.
Looking for others in similar situation.
Beginning to feel a bit deflated now, as I am sure many many others are too.
Trying some things different this cycle to hopefully get a BFP
•ordered an Ovusense core
•carrying on with my reflexology weekly
•Trying the SMEP method
•Hot water bottle after ovulation as I read someone else done on here
•carrying on with my supplements

Any other advice/recommendations/suggestions welcome

May April be the months of lots of BFP's 🌟.x

I think I'm out. Got a negative test this morning, and period pain seems to have started.

Good luck to everyone else! And here's to next month!

BeeLieve86 · 18/04/2022 08:42

@pocketbunny thanks so much!

Regarding starting TTC, did anybody find similar with their OH. Didn't particularly like talking about it but when it came to DTD, just let it happen?!
I've been obsessing over it and wishing i hadn't pulled away.
And sorry if tmi but I definitely had some 'leakage' afterwards sooooo.
So I guess it's a waiting game now.

pocketbunny · 18/04/2022 08:50

@izzyroo92 So sorry to hear that :(

Think we are out too... Period due in 7 days. Period pain just started which is my normal... Damnit!!

Someone has to get a BFP from our group, surely!

Presently83 · 18/04/2022 09:49

Morning all!

6dpo and not feeling particularly positive about things happening, but then with my last pregnancy I didn't feel anything until cramps at 9dpo, but I also felt like I 'knew' it was going to happen/had happened way before then.

Anyone else had that feeling of just knowing?

No symptoms at all, but really trying not to look for them. For the past 5 cycles I've felt twinges/aches/sore boobs/headaches/stuffiness/more CM than usual... and always nothing. So I've stopped second guessing things as early symptoms are clearly deceptive.

I'm feeling really guilty that I had some drinks this weekend because of Easter parties, and that it might prevent things happening. I figured that it was ok to drink a little before implantation could even happen, but now I worry it might stop implantation occurring. Next month I am off-off booze completely - this worry that you might have cocked things up is awful.

Next month is my due date for the MC and I really wanted to be pregnant by then, but maybe when it passes I'll feel less pressure to be.

izzyroo92 · 18/04/2022 09:59

@pocketbunny just want my period to show up now so we can roll onto next month.

Your so right someone surly is going to get a positive this month!!!!

Longbin · 18/04/2022 10:09

@BeeLieve86 you should probably talk about it

Hjudge56 · 18/04/2022 10:14

Hey guys!

@Presently83 I’m in the same position so it’s been nice to read your message! I am 7dpo today and I ended up having a few too many drinks Friday night and have been feeling guilty ever since! Had similar symptoms you mentioned since 3/4 DPO (sensitive nipples, random twinges, feeling nauseous every now and again and quite fatigued!) but I’ve been stupid and done an FRER this morning and BFN! I know in my heart 7DPO is too early to test but I had a miscarriage last year and got a BFP at 7DPO so I have it in my head that If i’d get a BFP it would be early again!!

Woken up today with dull cramping but I’m worried that’s a sign of AF coming along even though I’m not due for another 8 days!

We’re in this together 🙏🏼

Presently83 · 18/04/2022 10:27

@Hjudge56 crossing fingers for both of us that things start getting interesting over the next few days 🤞

I feel like 6-9DPO is the worst time because I'm nervously waiting for symptoms, and I feel like if I don't feel anything then I'm definitely out 😖

It's so hard TTC after a miscarriage. It just feels so sad and nerve wracking, don't you find?

Hjudge56 · 18/04/2022 11:08

@Presently83 Fingers and toes crossed! 🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼

Yeah definitely.. especially when some Google sites say implantation can be between 6-12DPO and it’s quite a big stretch to guess where you personally land on that spectrum! 🤣 how long are your cycles usually? Mine are 24-25 days so I’m guessing I may be on the 6/7 DPO side! But one minute you have symptoms and the next you feel nothing- it really is so mentally exhausting! I’ve tried to track CM but come to realise that whatever it looks like could just be a normal part of your cycle!

I agree it’s very hard to feel cool, calm and collected. But I try tell myself to focus forward and not keep looking back ❤️ I believe good energy goes where good energy flows! 🙏🏼

Presently83 · 18/04/2022 11:14

@Hjudge56 mine are pretty much always 26 days, with ovulation on 14/15, but last time I definitely only felt mild cramps 9DPO (surely implantation cramps) and sore boobs from 8DPO so not sure a shortish cycle means early implantation. Who knows! Fertility seems to be the vaguest of sciences, frustratingly!

I'm just so annoyed about the MC in October; it was our first month trying and I just keep thinking about how if it had stuck I would be one of those lucky people who never had to give TTC a real thought, and how much less stressful that would be. Alas! Not to be.

Kitchiekobo · 18/04/2022 11:36

Morning all,

Can I join this thread please?

My partner and I decided we would come off of the pill and ‘see what happens’…

I last took the pill on the 4th & 7th (because I panicked).

We were away on holiday from the 9th and we’re very active 🤣 I think I ovulated on the 12th and ever since I’ve had lower back ache, and very sore nipples. I’ve also had some intermittent cramping, a little bit constipated and an episode of nausea yesterday.
I’ve been sleeping like I’m a log (no dreams, no recollection of even falling asleep) usually I’m a hungry person but just not into food since I’ve started feeling like this.

I just ‘feel pregnant’ and I can’t shake that from my mind. I wake up in the morning touch my nipples and think ‘ahhh still sore’.

Honestly I think I’m losing my mind!
When do you think would be the best time to take a test? X

Presently83 · 18/04/2022 12:31

@Kitchiekobo best to wait until after your period is due, but if you've been on the pill you might not know when that is. I'd wait until 14 days after ovulation to get the most accurate result. Anything earlier could be a false negative and it gets stressful wondering if you could still be pregnant and doing tests every day. Better to wait and be sure. Good luck!

Kitchiekobo · 18/04/2022 12:35

Thank you!
I’ve been on the pill since last June and never had a period. However, previous to that I had a copper coil so was quite in tune with ovulation etc. and always knew when my period was coming.
I feel like I’ve got period symptoms but not if that makes sense? Haha. And usually with this kind of feeling it would have arrived by now 🙃

Honestly I feel crazy!

MO22 · 18/04/2022 12:54

@Hjudge56 @Presently83 I'm same boat as you, 7 DPO today and trying to disregard all the twinges as the last three cycles they've meant nothing!

I wouldn't beat yourself up at all about drinking, so many people don't find out about pregnancies until much later and it's absolutely fine. There's so much to stress about in early pregnancy, I think a glass or two in TWW when you don't know sometimes is necessary! Everyone knows what they feel comfortable with.

@presently83 I too felt cramps that started at 9 DPO with my miscarriage last year. However I got them again last cycle at 9 DPO and was so excited, and then AF turned up promptly. I just keep telling myself to hold on until period is due and make a decision whether to test after that if it doesn't arrive.

Easier said than done!

Hjudge56 · 18/04/2022 12:56

@Kitchiekobo I feel ya girl! I really feel like I am pregnant with the symptoms I’m having but only 7dpo and had a BFN (of course!).

Just have to wait it out and see!

MO22 · 18/04/2022 12:57

@izzyroo92 sorry to hear that but here's to the next cycle!

@pocketbunny there's still time surely! Are you 7 DPO?

Hjudge56 · 18/04/2022 12:59

@MO22 🙏🏼🙏🏼 So nice to know we’re on the same DPO! Can keep each other updated!

So true, I’ve read so much on this forum about people having all these symptoms and them ‘being different from the last cycle’ but then get AF!

As much as I feel like this cycle is different and I could really be pregnant/ going through implantation right now- I’ve realised the cramping I’m feeling is on the same side as last month and I thought an egg gets released from alternate sides each month so probably means this month isn’t the one!!

Kitchiekobo · 18/04/2022 13:00

@Hjudge56 @Presently83 @MO22

I THINK I’m also 7DPO but just feel awful since day 2/3DPO 🤣 I keep trying to ignore it but something will stop me in my tracks 🤣🤣

Presently83 · 18/04/2022 13:01

@Hjudge56 not always the case at all with eggs released from opposite sides each month; I've had a few monitoring scans because I have one blocked tube and wanted to know which side I would ovulate from, and it seems TOTALLY random, according to my doctors. You can have a dominant ovary that releases more eggs than the other, or it can just be completely random. So who knows, it could be!

Hjudge56 · 18/04/2022 13:03

Ah! That’s good news @Presently83! Thank you for letting me know :)

MO22 · 18/04/2022 13:35

Ugh just went and checked CM and there's a brown tinge... It's way too early, AF is not due until Saturday earliest so feeling really rubbish now, my cycles have been so weird since the MC and just feel like it's never going to happen Sad

pocketbunny · 18/04/2022 13:44

@M022 could it be implantation bleeding? I'm 8dpo and wondering if I'm not out completely as I had brown discharge the last 2 times I went to the loo which is definitely not normal for me...

babyjellyfish · 18/04/2022 13:53

CD24 and my ovulation test is finally positive. 🙌

MO22 · 18/04/2022 13:57

@pocketbunny I just have no idea, I read a thing debunking implantation bleed so feeling out of sorts...

Brown discharge here too but v light. I'm cramping also and now I'm terrified it's my period but surely it cant be if I'm only 7 DPO... Surely. If it my period I don't know what's wrong with my cycle...

Just had a small cry about it. Not very helpful but I feel 1 percent better

MO22 · 18/04/2022 13:58

@babyjellyfish ah huge congrats! Flowers
