Hi!
Making a thread looking for some company/support
I'm currently going into cycle 4, trying to conceive baby 1.
Looking for others in similar situation.
Beginning to feel a bit deflated now, as I am sure many many others are too.
Trying some things different this cycle to hopefully get a BFP
•ordered an Ovusense core
•carrying on with my reflexology weekly
•Trying the SMEP method
•Hot water bottle after ovulation as I read someone else done on here
•carrying on with my supplements

Any other advice/recommendations/suggestions welcome

May April be the months of lots of BFP's 🌟.x

@MeganMama28 the witch arrived late last night so no need for FRER 😞 Wine will be flowing today and if anything it shows the peak I got 2 weeks ago was actually pretty accurate xx

MrsGrealish · 17/04/2022 10:19

Good luck everyone else 💕 xx

pocketbunny · 17/04/2022 10:27

@MO22 I get pretty well distracted by reading the trending threads on here... Reading a book... Watching movies... I'm a bit worried my mind is getting ahead of me!!!

@RMS0209 I totally forgot about your ovusense! Hopefully you ovulate asap!! I think I read people can ovulate on day 22 with a 40ish day cycle??

MO22 · 17/04/2022 10:33

@MrsGrealish ugh sorry to hear that - but good to know peak is pretty spot on! Here's to the next cycle!

@pocketbunny lol yea the trending threads are a good distraction! I'm going to Scotland for a few days to see my little nephew's so that will be very busy, but also bit of a sad time as can't help but think about my MMC whenever I've up there and how they should have a cousin soon. Trying to buck up.

And just on cycles, @RMS0209 I have from 31-35 day cycles - I'm on for 34 this month and I ovulated day 22, so there's still time!

RMS0209 · 17/04/2022 10:36

@MrsGrealish sorry to hear about the witch arriving - get a large wine today 💖
least we know for you for next cycle to start dancing as soon as AF goes just incase another early peak.

@pocketbunny that's great, I ended up down a rabbit hole on google so I came off... longest I've had was peak CD18 and a 33 day cycle then... hopefully it comes soon, away out with OH and the dogs for a nice walk today and taken some ovulation tests in my bag just incase! Didn't dance last night didn't feel up to it but will keep going tonight.

Brilliant @MO22 thanks so much for telling me that... calmed me a bit

You ladies are fab! Glad we have this thread 💖

@MrsGrealish sooty AF showed 😔 Enjoy your wine though, lovely weekend for drinks in the sun!

@RMS0209 enjoy your walk and try not to think about it for a bit! I'll be taking my pup out to the woods today as well, try to distract me from the TWW (or in by case usually 8/9DW!)

Nyxxie · 17/04/2022 12:14

That should have been sorry not sooty!

MrsGrealish · 17/04/2022 12:18

@Nyxxie @RMS0209 absolutely a large glass of wine is on the cards for today 😊 going to Greece soon too..a holiday at long last!!

Nyxxie · 17/04/2022 12:22

@MrsGrealish exciting! Sounds like a good excuse for some retail therapy too.. holiday clothes!

MO22 · 17/04/2022 14:18

@MrsGrealish also going to Greece day after AF due next week! Hoping it will soften the blow for another unsuccessful cycle. Weather is looking 🌞

BeeLieve86 · 17/04/2022 14:27

Is it ok if I join?
This is our first month trying to conceive our first baby but it's a weird one...
I didn't think my partner was quite ready to start and this morning we dtd (I ovulate on Tuesday) and afterwards I said I thought he wasn't ready and his response was that we might as well start now.
I'm on such a high now but also I'm not sure it will have happened because I panicked during dtd and pulled away. But I was actually too late. So who knows.
I would be so happy if it has happened for us.
Eeeeeek!
Sorry if TMI Blush

Longbin · 17/04/2022 18:55

@MrsGrealish @MO22 I’m going to Greece too!

alwaysseeingstars · 17/04/2022 18:56

Hi all, sorry been MIA!! How are you doing?
@MrsGrealish oh I’m so sorry about AF 😢 sending hugs.
@RMS0209 any sign of peak yet? My CM was watery in the week! Hopefully a good sign?
@MO22 I did the progesterone test last month, it’s 7 days before AF or day 21 if unsure! Was good to get the peace of mind.
Finally got my static yesterday guys 🎉 - day 14 of flashing! And CD22. Managed to DTD this am but last time otherwise was 4 days ago 😔 did a test on a different CB holder this am though & back to an empty circle? Worried I was too late with this AM’s antics now 😳

MrsGrealish · 17/04/2022 19:42

@Longbin so looking forward to a holiday! It's gonna be hard not OPK testing I've been doing it for AGES...

QueenBee22 · 17/04/2022 19:54

@RMS0209 I finally got a peak OPK today! CD20. How are you doing?

RMS0209 · 17/04/2022 20:11

Hi! @QueenBee22 & @alwaysseeingstars goodness - it has put me at ease seeing both of you getting peak's at this stage.
CD19... been having a melt down as you can see as no peak and no hint of it! Should have danced last night but didn't do will push us to do tonight and hopefully I copy you both and get a peak soon. How are you both doing? X

RMS0209 · 17/04/2022 20:11

@MrsGrealish also VERY jealous of holidays 🌞 x

MO22 · 17/04/2022 20:19

@alwaysseeingstars so every time you use a new holder it will always give you the empty circle, as it is setting the baseline. So don't worry, have a read of the CB site as it explains it all in detail because I don't know the science behind it lol! My strong advice is to use the same holder as much as possible as it gets to know your baseline and also have a few other cheapo strips just to double check!

This is prob v dumb but im due on next sunday is tomorrow seven days or today? I get confused. Either way, I'm doing the test tomorrow AM for progesterone, so I hope that's ok! Am nervous it's going to say I haven't ovulated...

@Longbin amazing, I hope all the Greek food sets us up for lots of BFPs Grin

RMS0209 · 17/04/2022 20:25

@MO22 sending you all the luck for the test tomorrow, let us know how it goes. X

OP posts:
QueenBee22 · 17/04/2022 21:05

@RMS0209 hopefully you will get yours soon. It's more common than you would think. My doctor told me before that he rarely sees a patient who has a 28 day cycle. Longer cycles are just what is normal for us I think. Relieved to get a peak at this stage. Didn't do any BD last week as we had the horrible norovirus in the house but have tried to make up for it this week.

Fingers crossed for a peak for you soon x

Longbin · 17/04/2022 21:34

@MrsGrealish I’m also leaving them at home. I’ve managed to cut back on them a lot though! Just did one as you reminded me and apparently I ovulate in 2 days. Interested to see if my progesterone does increase as it’s been consistently high since I started checking it 😐

MO22 · 17/04/2022 22:59

Another CM question for everyone as I'm stressing myself out.

Post MC I have spotted a few days before AF, but the last two cycles its not really spotting but if I test for CM (aka stick my fingers up there, sorry, TMI) the CM is very light pink/peach... Not enough to even show up in my underwear so unsure if I can even refer to it as spotting.

I just was interested in what's going on up there (a la @MeganMama28's crouching for her cervix) and I feel like I have slightly pink CM at 6 DPO (but really barely any colour to it).

Does anyone have similar or can shed any light? I've read about implantation bleed being debunked as not a thing so I don't think it's that, but it just worries me that spotting (or tinged CM) outside of period or ovulation isn't a great sign. Just worrying a bit really...

MrsGrealish · 17/04/2022 23:13

Hey @MO22 I had implantation bleeding in one of my four pregnancies so although it's not common it is a thing. It happened on 7dpo and the pregnancy is a 15 year old now. I didn't go looking for it mind and it was brown CM when wiping. Tiny amount. Also DTD can irritate the cervix and cause a bit of bleeding..especially when pregnant. Blood flow increases to the cervix xx

pocketbunny · 18/04/2022 00:47

@MO22 I think pale pink is normal. I definitely get that!

@BeeLieve86 Welcome to the group :) I'm only on month 2 so not very experienced with everything yet but have learnt a lot from this chat!

RBSK1 · 18/04/2022 07:21

Hi, hope it’s okay to join. Me and OH have decided to “start trying properly” for baby no2. After months of “not not trying” and being unsuccessful!

I don’t use the ovulations tests but use an app, it worked for baby no1, we got caught really quickly but things don’t seem to be happening this time around
