Hi!
Making a thread looking for some company/support
I'm currently going into cycle 4, trying to conceive baby 1.
Looking for others in similar situation.
Beginning to feel a bit deflated now, as I am sure many many others are too.
Trying some things different this cycle to hopefully get a BFP
•ordered an Ovusense core
•carrying on with my reflexology weekly
•Trying the SMEP method
•Hot water bottle after ovulation as I read someone else done on here
•carrying on with my supplements

Any other advice/recommendations/suggestions welcome

May April be the months of lots of BFP's 🌟.x

@alwaysseeingstars that's really reassuring, love to hear positive stories! Remaining as positive as possible, Dr also said to us, it's not a matter if we'll get pregnant it's just when. Which was music to my ears. How are you today?

@RMS0209 I'm strangely feeling relieved. I had a gut feeling that I might have PCSO, as I have irregular very light periods, as well as hormonal Acne and a lot of facial hair. So it was good to get it confirmed. I'm so happy that we went and got checked as we could have been trying for ages and wasting time. Please ask away, I too am nosey :) We went private, went with London Women's Clinic, we're in the South East (assuming you're in england). How are you today? x

alwaysseeingstars · 07/04/2022 12:39

@Rhianne18 don't you worry there's lots of positives stories with this! There's also a lot of great PCOS blogs and things online according to my friend that helped her when she was in a 'never going to happen' mood!!
I'm good thanks, on a rare day off so trying to get a load of admin done (not working haha, good old MN and anything fertility related taking my brain power!!), how are you?

pocketbunny · 07/04/2022 12:41

@Rhianne18 Glad you got some answers and a plan in place xx It always helps to know all the information so you can choose how to respond and your Dr sounds very supportive. I will cross my fingers that it happens naturally in the next three months for you!

pocketbunny · 07/04/2022 12:43

@RSmamaa I really believe it is positive!! The Boots test clearly had two lines... Good luck with the digital when the time comes!

MrsGrealish · 07/04/2022 12:47

@babyjellyfish I was laying down half asleep and just saw this. This has woken me up! So is it much lower? I imagine and correct me if I'm wrong but there's a wide range of normal levels. Weird that is lower but it might be like LH and fluctuates all the time. The estrogen you have is doing its job (building up a thick lining) so the follicle is releasing enough.
Also the flashy clear blue stick is picking it up.

@RSmamaa that's a good line for 9dpo trust me on this. Get the same boots test and repeat tomorrow and it should be darker. There's always the chance of a chemical at this stage but it's the same for us all if we test early xx

MrsGrealish · 07/04/2022 12:51

@RMS0209 yep I'll send you mine. It's not as spectacular as @Hello47 but I'll upload them xx

babyjellyfish · 07/04/2022 12:56

@MrsGrealish It was 36 yesterday and 32 today, but I got a blank circle yesterday and a flashing smiley today.

God only knows what tomorrow will bring. At least the ultrasound should provide more clarity.

Still necking the grapefruit juice...

Rhianne18 · 07/04/2022 12:59

@alwaysseeingstars I'm going to take a look to see if I can find some blogs about it then, nothing like a bit more reassurance.

How nice that you have a day off, even if it is taken up with life admin. I totally hear you with everything fertility taking over your brain, I think we all do it. I'm feeling good, 9DPO but I feel no different in myself so taking it as I'm out this month, but I'm okay about it and with the new medication going to hope for some luck next month. Hope you get your static smiley soon.

@pocketbunny Yes, I feel so much better knowing there's a plan (love a plan). Thank you, going to carry on for the next three months hoping we're successful. I hear you re the not dancing very much, life is busy, we're making a conscious effort, however also don't the the element of it always being planned. Are you trying for your 1st?

Rhianne18 · 07/04/2022 13:01

@babyjellyfish good luck for the ultrasound tomorrow, hope it gives you more clarity.

RSmamaa · 07/04/2022 13:02

@MrsGrealish I don't believe it 😂. They look like evaps now they have dried out! Only a thin band of colour. Just going to wait a few days

@RSmamaa what kinda test is the third one?

alwaysseeingstars · 07/04/2022 13:13

@Rhianne18 you never know, so many people feel absolutely nothing different at 9dpo :)

pocketbunny · 07/04/2022 13:17

@Rhianne18 Yes, trying for first. I work with babies though so it's on my mind all day haha. We literally said we would start trying in April months ago (we are big planners and were waiting for various reasons) but I convinced DH to start in March as we had our first holiday in a year (2 nights only!) but it coincided with what I believe was ovulation. Only managed to DTD once at that time and we used normal lube (oops!) and we didn't get pregnant. It was still sad though.. oh how we are cruel to ourselves when waiting for results. Planning to do every 2nd day over ovulation this time around.

Are you trying for your 1st?

RSmamaa · 07/04/2022 13:20

@MrsGrealish superdrug 5 days early. I think this is definitely positive but can't trust them. Much darker than the others

Rhianne18 · 07/04/2022 13:25

@alwaysseeingstars you're right, suppose I'm not out until AF shows.

@pocketbunny Do you find it difficult working with babies all day? I find it hard enough when we see our friends who have a 18month old and they're also pregnant with their second.

Totally agree, the 2WW is painful. I hope the trying every other day works this month for you. Yes, trying for our 1st, on cycle 4.

MrsGrealish · 07/04/2022 13:32

@RSmamaa I mean it is. It's defo picking up the hormone because of the pink tinge. No more testing to Saturday! It doubles ever 48 hours so you should see a noticeable difference xx the hardest thing in the world to wait though once you start testing. Last cycle I tested from 8dpo at least twice a day. I went fully down the rabbit hole and I knew I was mad for doing them ❤️ so many pictures of negative tests on my phone😂

pocketbunny · 07/04/2022 13:53

@RSmamaa It looks so promising!!

@Rhianne18 I actually think it's easier sometimes because I still get the cuddles and the love at work, but some moments I look down at a sleeping baby in my arms and I just pine inside for my own. Some days though the children are crazy (especially after a full moon!) or I see a moment that's especially draining on a parent and then I might have a moment where I feel glad I'm not a parent yet. Short lived though but a nice reprieve.

I think for babies or children you see infrequently they always seem more 'perfect' in small doses. Every child is wonderful but every child has their challenges. I get to see the challenges so I always keep a realistic perspective. When we have a visiting child they always seem so amazing and easy etc and it's because you don't see all their sides in a short space of time. They have to be comfortable before they share more of themselves and their behaviours!

Rhianne18 · 07/04/2022 15:00

@pocketbunny that's such a lovely way of looking at it. Yes, I hear from friends that the full moon does all sorts to their children.

I too enjoy the time with the babies/children in my life, but there is always a part of me when I'm with them whishing for my own.

Hopefully it won't be long for us. :)

Hello47 · 07/04/2022 15:19

Sorry all, I keep missing so much!

Ha thanks @MrsGrealish your charts looks great too though! I managed to sleep through last night and got a bbt of 36.6 so very happy and hoping that’s I sign I’ve ovulated because pre that my bbt were 36.35ish

I caved and brought a progesterone test from medicheck, I’m clearly too influenced 🤣 might do it this month or next.

@RSmamaa ah this is the worst bit! You must be going out of your mind wondering. I would say they’re unlikely to be allll evaps. I don’t think there’s anymore you can do but wait and test again tomorrow.

@RMS0209 how was the second night of ovusense?

@Rhianne18 sounds like you have a great plan in place! I’m so glad you’ve finally got a diagnosis and you’re feeling positive about the next few months!

@babyjellyfish so annoying about the blood results! I would love to be able to sit down with someone and go through what all these hormones mean, it’s mind binding isn’t it. Yay for the flashy smily test though!

alwaysseeingstars · 07/04/2022 15:24

@Hello47 you won't regret the test honest, it's worth it to have ovulation confirmed!! Or, worst case scenario, if you haven't, at least then you know you can raise it with the Dr!
@pocketbunny ah, I can see why working with children would be a blessing and a curse at the same time!

RSmamaa · 07/04/2022 15:30

It's confirmed ladies. I use these every cycle and never seen even a hint of a line.

Oh my god congrats @RSmamaa 😁😁😁

alwaysseeingstars · 07/04/2022 15:44

Yay, congrats @RSmamaa!! That's fab news ❤️ ❤️

Rhianne18 · 07/04/2022 16:22

@Hello47 Yes, feeling good that there's a plan and also happy that I know. Everyone on here that have taken the Medicheck tests have found them useful, best of luck with yours.

@RSmamaa Ekkk! Congratulations, so so happy for you :) x
