Hi!
Making a thread looking for some company/support
I'm currently going into cycle 4, trying to conceive baby 1.
Looking for others in similar situation.
Beginning to feel a bit deflated now, as I am sure many many others are too.
Trying some things different this cycle to hopefully get a BFP
•ordered an Ovusense core
•carrying on with my reflexology weekly
•Trying the SMEP method
•Hot water bottle after ovulation as I read someone else done on here
•carrying on with my supplements

Any other advice/recommendations/suggestions welcome

Yes I remember the spotting is terrible for giving false hope. I was spotting at CD 32 which has never happened before so I got my hopes up.

This month I am going to try the SMEP method. I had a go at it in February but we were both too exhausted to manage the 3 days in a row. I am more determined this month so will try to find energy from somewhere. I think it is worth a try.

I already spoke to my GP briefly in February because of the vaccine altering my cycles and they told me to come back in June if I hadn't conceived by then.

Fingers crossed for some luck in April for all

Love all these TTC threads. I'm currently 5dpo and praying for a positive this time. Cycle 3 for #2. I've got some aches in my lower tummy today and had some aches in my boobs but I know I'm just symptom spotting and waaaaay too early yet. I'm finding it hard because my cycles are so long. 2 cycles ago I didn't ovulate until CD26 but this month was CD21. I didn't track last month so I'm wondering if we just missed the window. We DTD on my most 2 fertile days so hoping that does it. I sympathise with people ttc years+ because my first two pregnancies were conceived on cycle 1 and this is currently my 3rd and feel so deflated. Really trying not to get my hopes up this time

Ultrasound on Tuesday to see what's happening in my ovaries.

I’ve had very light pink spotting today. I know I’m going to be so disappointed now when I get a negative test 😩

It's horrible isn't it. Hopefully no spotting this month!
Great, I am stuck between trying SMEP or Purple method... my main aim for this month is to hit more fertile days before OV.
We will both be looking for energy 😂 just think we can relax the whole TWW!

Great atleast your doctor knows a big help so far, my cycle seems to be a day longer now since catching covid in January... very annoying!

Wow they do seem like long cycles, longest I've had is CD19 for ovulation... was going out of my mind then!
Did you add anything different this cycle?
I seem to hit peak day and O day the last few months and no luck.. so going to add more days this month and have EVERYTHING crossed!
Understand the feeling deflated - always here if you need to vent.

Omg so glad I did decide to check my opks this month! Caught completely of guard by this, quite a lot earlier than normal 🤦🏻‍♀️ Probably peak tomorrow so need to get on it tonight tomorrow and Tuesday if we can manage it. Gah! So annoyed it’s coming early because we definitely haven’t done it enough pre ovulation now

@Hello47 wow!! I am so glad you checked them too, eeee exciting. But frustrating early.. get dancing, sure you've caught this early enough how great x

@RMS0209 it’s so hard to know what to do isn’t it. I always just super stressed trying to work out when to DTD.

covid has a lot to answer for! My period was so delayed after my vaccine.

@RSmamaa welcome! I’m so bad at symptom spotting but I do normally get really sore boobs when I’m pregnant in the tww. So hard not to read in to everything.

@Longbin could it be implantation?

@Hello47 I was hoping it was implantation as it was light pink but I think it’s actually ovulation bleeding. My ovulation date has been updated to yesterday. My LH and estrogen had soared when I tested this mornings very annoying as my partner had been away so I haven’t DTD!

Progesterone was showing as high enough on day 21 and always has when I’ve had doctors blood tests so they confirmed I’ve ovulated every month. I believe it’s shown that I’ve ovulated a week earlier than I do 😔 if it’s accurate then my luteal phase is too short to sustain a pregnancy anyway

@Longbin oh no! I am sorry to hear that, I have never had ovulation bleeding.. if you DTD today if you can you might still catch it?

@RMS0209 he’s away today and I think it’s pretty pointless trying anyway really. I think I’ll just track for one more month to see if the luteal phase is too short and then give up!

@Longbin no giving up!!!!

A lot of people have to give up in the end unfortunately and I need to accept that I am one of those people. It’s not healthy to carry on relentlessly when it’s not going to happen.

OPKs dropped a little today. Like surely today CD11 isn't ovulation day? Gonna have to hide an OPK in my bra to take in the toilet at work tomorrow 🙄

@RMS0209 did you decide on purple or SMEP?

Thinking we're gonna try purple method, just gearing up for it now!

@MO22 what CD are you on? I was attempting purple method but might have to DTD again tonight if OPKs are anything to go by

Hi @MO22 ahh I still can't decide, CD5... still bleeding, finished CD6 last cycle so hopefully away tomorrow. I honeslty can't decide between the both, I will be happy to hit more fertile days but I just can't decide I think purple might be the winner! How you feeling?

@RMS0209 I've attached a pic. I had covid and a chemical (unconfirmed) last month so I ovulated day 17 which is late for me. Normally a day 13 peak
I'll take the test to confirm LH levels dropping

When I had covid I had AF9 days and ovulated on CD19... was a stress!

@RMS0209 covid is the devil for ttc.
My DD tested positive yesterday 🥲

Oh ladies i'm terrified about covid delaying my ovulation - I'm on day 8 and testing faintly positive still, just starting OPKs but PRAYING I ovulated day 19/20 as usual (late but regular with PCOS).

Will be such a stress to go longer, I hate these long cycles.

@RMS0209 were going purple I think, mainly cos we have a wedding bang on ovulation day and are staying at my mum's with lots of family ha- so I think we will DTD either side which fits with purple. I haven't done the first day to get rid of old swimmers tho ha, I'm a bit cba when it's not in the fertile window at all!
