Starting Clomid tomorrow!

TTC number 2 and currently starting cycle 16. We are about to start Clomid and I wondered if anyone had any advice or tips? Just not sure what to expect with it.
We currently have no known issues, partners SA is ok, my bloods are ok and my HyCoSy came back clear.
Unsure on why we have been given Clomid but willing to give anything a try right now!

@EMM01 @TheDaydreamBelievers so sorry you both didn't get ovulation. So crap when your hopes are so high. I hope your both doing ok.

Definitely keep pushing at the doctors, seems like you maybe need a dose change and need more tracking.

@TheDaydreamBelievers A stronger dose may be needed then, hopefully the next dose up will work for you! I'm sure we'll all find our balance soon and find what works!!

@naevo looks like AF has arrived, and I've never been so relieved to see it! Omg I was so stressed the other day, just felt like I was going to end up in the same old routine but thankfully it is on the way.... although a good bit late compared to last month.

Girls it will be all guns blazing now for the next round. I knew it wouldn't happen this round as my DP was away for work round the time I thought I would ovulate, and if I ovulated later, it was definitely missed as he wasn't home. I have been very busy with work and my partner has been unwell also so I knew I was out.... but just wanted to ovulate! I'm away to Leeds around this months ovulation time, but should still be ok. I'll be on a nice spa break the following weekend, so that would be perfect! Will be great to reduce the stress for the next ttw. I'll get some opk's as well and track temps. Determined for a 3rd time lucky!

@TheDaydreamBelievers agree on the stronger dose, what dose are you on now?

My period has come today, a day late 🙄 so onto cycle 3 of chlomid and 24 in total. Feeling deflated today ☹️

Sorry to hear AF showed for you ladies (although its a silver lining for you @EMM01, that's good news) I'm onto my third round of Clomid now too, CD5. I can't seem to pick myself up this time, feeling low but hoping we get the 3rd time lucky charm 🤞🏼 AF was sooo light this month too so this has got me worried. If they want me to have more rounds of Clomid, I may opt for tracking again just incase my lining has thinned too much

@naevo I'm with you girl, really struggling this month ☹️ it's so hard to be positive when you get negative after negative every month and the hopes we had with chlomid are starting to dash ☹️
My period has only lasted 2 days both months- usually it's longer. I assumed was a side effect? But if you have the option to be scanned I would do that just to put your mind at ease.

Letrozole 2.5 mg didn't work 😔. Planning 5mg next cycle. If next cycle hasn't started by CD40 we will do a progesterone challenge to induce one.
