Starting Clomid tomorrow!

TTC number 2 and currently starting cycle 16. We are about to start Clomid and I wondered if anyone had any advice or tips? Just not sure what to expect with it.
We currently have no known issues, partners SA is ok, my bloods are ok and my HyCoSy came back clear.
Unsure on why we have been given Clomid but willing to give anything a try right now!

Hey! Currently on CD12. Still nothing to report here, just impatiently waiting for ovulation! Think it will be sometime soon, got EWCM and the same feeling of pressure down there as last time. I didn't let myself use OPKs. My nerves just can't take it 😂

I don't know about you guys but I seem to get a lot more CM on Clomid?

Hey @naevo yay for the ovulation signs happening - sending lots of luck your way 🤞🏻 started with the opks myself today although it has been so long since I've seen myself ovulate again I just can't help but dip them 🤦🏻‍♀️ not much to report here either, a tad emotional, sometimes feel hot flushes still too and the crazy clomid dreams has started which is fun haha I'm pretty sure I had them every time! Also feeling niggles and sometimes aches every now and then low down so fingers crossed I won't be far behind with the big O. No fertile signs for me right now either in terms of CM. hope your all doing well 😊

I am 8dpo today. 😬 Been feeling okay. The first few days after ovulations were crampy, I was super bloated … but now all the symptoms are gone and so is the hope of bfp I think. 😬

My husband also got his SA results and all looks okay. 10% of his swimmers is morphologically great, so I guess that’s good. 🙈

I am currently on my 3rd round of Clomid, I was prescribed due to PCOS. My symptoms have been different each round.

1st Round - I had severe breast sensitivity from around CD7 through to the day of my period and my mood swings were another level.

2nd Round - I'm not sure if I ovulated this round as my cycle wasn't monitored but I suffered with headaches and would wake up through the night sweating.

3rd Round - I am currently 2dpo and so far I have not had any symptoms except for being a little down a couple of days before ovulation.

@stepmumto1 third round has always been my trick, hopefully that can give you some hope. (I have two amazing clomid children already) good luck to you 🤞🏻

I'm on cycle 2 this month and it is a different experience to last month! This month I just had a few days of headaches taking clomid and no symptoms of anything else since. I'm on CD 15 now and feel normal No ovulation pains, no sore boobs, no bloatedness, annoyance.... nothing. Felt everything last month. Haven't a clue if I ovulated or not and my partner has been away for work since Monday, so just don't know how this month will go. No monitoring now so I just don't know. Would be supposed to have ovulated yesterday so the ttw will be agonising!

@EMM01 do you track your bbt or anything? Don't lose hope becasue of the lack of signs just keep BDing haha 😆 🤞🏻🤞🏻

@user6669 No don't do any tracking, but I usually have pains when ovaries are trying to ovulate... but nothing lol! Maybe it's a good sign, will remain positive!

Hey how is everyone doing 😊?

I'm cd13 today, woke up with a temp spike which has totally thrown me off. I'm usually a late ovulater and have had zero fertile signs and negative opks since cd11! It could be just a random one off temp that doesn't mean much but cannot help but worry its going to end up not working 🙈 so I'm stressing about it now. I expected to ovulate next week. Hoping tomorrow's temp is back down because I really don't think it's because of O... I'd be shocked if so anyways.

Oh just to add, usually my temps before ovulation are below 36.5 and after ovulation are higher than this. So its thrown me off 🤦‍♀️

@user6669 hey lovely! I'm sorry I have never logged my temp so I have no idea how it works at all! But trust your body and the signs it gives is my advice.

I have just royally effed up for this month! yesterday I felt what I now think was ovulation pain but never had it before and I suffer with ibs so thought it was that... we didn't baby dance last night as planned as I was very emotional and kept crying (23rd cycle of this is taking its toll) which was quite the turn off! Anyway this morning I've woken up with sensitive nipples so now I think I ovulated yesterday and didn't baby dance and by tonight it will be too late.

I have been doing ovulation sticks and still have a flashing smiley but now I think it's not accurate and I should have listened to my body! I'm sooooo annoyed with myself and upset this is gonna be another month down the drain and a waste of chlomid

@topsecret99 I think your right in trusting my body, I have had niggles and cramps but nothing that shouts I'm ovulating yet nor any other fertile signs at all yet 🤷🏻‍♀️I hate this waiting game honestly lol.

Sensitive nipples is always a go to sign for me after ovulation tbf so it could have been what you've been feeling, try to BD today just in case I mean it won't hurt even if its too late I think the egg is ready for 24hrs (?) If I remember correctly and also if you had BD in the past 3-5 days don't write yourself out just yet lovely - I know how stressful it is though so I get you 🥺 have you looked into temping your bbt? I cannot rely on opks with pcos because my LH is elevated anyway and my body really likes to try ovulate but fail so confirming with bbt helps me so much (when it does happen anyway 😌) il keep everything crossed for you don't be so hard on yourself. Ttc is so stressful ♥️

@TopSecret99 when was the last day you DTD? It still may be enough, you definitely don't have to do it the day of ovulation and if you DTD tonight, the egg may still be hanging around.
I totally understand though, it's an awful feeling to think you may have missed it. The pressure we put on ourselves is ridiculous, I get not feeling up to it when your that down, it doesn't feel right does it. Try and go easy on yourself though.

@user6669 I'm not totally sure about BBT (tried it once and gave up as I couldn't get to grips with testing the same time everyday) weird for you to have a jump like that though, it'll be interesting to see what your temp is saying tomorrow!

I’m 10dpo. Took a test today and obviously bfn. 😆 I know it’s early, but I’m also pretty sure we weren’t successful despite taking Clomid this cycle. 🥺

We baby danced Tuesday night and gave it a go this evening just in case. I had a similar pain in my tummy to yesterday again, so wondering now if it was ovulation pain? Urgh so bloody confusing!

@naevo I was the same when I first started - it was a nightmare and took me so many months to figure it all out and I wasn't ovulating at all either so my charts just went on and on for months at a time lol 🥱 good luck with your tww 🤞🏻 keep us updated

@lilrosemarie don't lose hope just yet, although once you've seen a bfn I totally get it. Always know that anything can happen at this point, with my DC2 I was convinced I was out, tested at 10dpo and got a stark white bfn and my temp dropped (indicating af coming) and I got a bfp a few days later. My lp is only 12 days also and was a massive shock (3rd clomid round, the first round failed to induce ovulation too) Sending you lots of luck 🤞🏻

@topsecret99 did you do anymore opks? Fingers crossed you've not missed it - keep baby dancing to cover your bases I'd say 🤞🏻

Morning all, I started to feel a bit rubbish yesterday and wondered if my temp was due to coming down with something. Did another opk yesterday and although it's becoming more darker it's not postive yet so I'm thinking this isn't ovulation, and this morning I woke up to my temp being 37.0 so another huge rise and I have a cold 🤦🏻‍♀️ so guessing although not fever it's elevated my temps somewhat and really hoping it goes away soon before it messes up my chart too much!!!

@user6669 yeah I did one this morning and the digital thing failed 🤦🏻‍♀️ it also did this 2 days ago so think it's dead. Which means it wasn't accurate anyway so I probably did ovulate when my body showed the signs (nips very tender today)

I don't wanna sound defeatist but I have accepted I'm out this month; I know I effed up. I've accepted it and will be better next month! I'm still hopeful chlomid will work for me 

That bbt sounds wayyyy to complicated for me! Same as @naevo tho I can't take it at the same time every day, tho it's down to my working pattern. I hope you don't feel too poorly- just take it easy x

I think we weren’t successful as I started to spot yesterday. Well, I’m not really spotting, I just noticed some cm (pink, brown) when I checked my cervix, so I think AF is around the corner. It’s supposed to start tomorrow according to my FLO app.
My gp prescribed more Clomid, so I’ll be taking 100mg next cycle. 😬

@TopSecret99 Sounds like you would have DTD to hit ovulation, your definitely still in this month. I get this feeling though, you feel it deep down that your out, you get to know it well after going through it as long as we have but the reality is that we are not out until AF shows 🤞🏼

I'm still a week from AF but I will be testing this Saturday as one of my closest friend is getting married and I want a few guilt free Proseccos 😂 or more hopefully not be able to drink at all 🤞🏼 currently not feeling any different!

I myself am still in the ttw, still no symptoms of anything. No pain, tenderness... nothing. Just a bit of digestive pain. I think we missed ovulation anyway but I'm starting to worry the clomid didn't even trigger anything this month. Felt so different last month. I'd say it has but just wish I'd got some tracking to be sure
