2WW. AF due 7/1

Hey everyone,
Anyone else just starting their 2WW? I’m only on 3dpo tryint to conceive baby no.2 for me but baby no.1 for DP.
First child from my previous relationship. Since having DC1 I’ve had 2 CPs with ex when we were trying and 1 CP with current partner without trying but just getting carried away using no protection. Now that we’re actively trying I’m a bit nervous about it sticking. Only on cycle 1 of trying so feeling hopeful just impatient!

The more I squint at it the more I see it 🤣 but pretty sure my eyes are playing tricks on me. Just would have thought by 10dpo FRER would have picked up if I was. But who knows

@Em2210 that looks pretty similar to my 11 dpo. I didn’t post it as it was a squinter in real life but even harder to spot in the photo.

Would love to join, I was due on yesterday (apparently) and trying not to get my hopes up as cycle lasted 29 days last month and we’re on day 28 this time and was a massive let down when I tested on day 28 last month😬

Just glad to know I’m not on my own! How do I kick the feeling of wanting to test every 3 seconds?????😂x

Welcome @Chlo1995 You definitely have more restraint than I do, I’ve already done two tests and AF isn’t due until Friday

@PointyMcguire oh I’m so tempted but I know I’ll be so annoyed when it come back negative, my best friend is trying to tempt me with tests she has at her house - I know for a fact I’ll be taking a trip there on my dinner break🙄😂

@Chlo1995 I know what you mean. I swear every negative test was mocking me, and even now with a BFP I don’t entirely trust it. Fingers crossed you get your positive soon!

@PointyMcguire oh me too! Nothing I want more right now and it’s driving me mad!

I could also use some convincing to refrain from early testing! I'm getting some weird twinges in my tummy and groin today and the urge to test is so strong even though I know at 7dpo I shouldn't!

Thanks girls. I'm gonna have to restrain myself too because I know I'll want to test as soon as I'm home from work 😅 tomorrow seems too long away lol

@Dreamer30 definitely worth waiting til the morning if you can. My 11 dpo test was done out of impatience, even though I knew I’d got up to pee in the middle of the night so it was unlikely to be good enough to get a proper read, whereas this morning I’d been bursting since around 5am but held til 7am and it was much clearer.

@Chlo1995 I feel you! I’d pretty much concluded there was something wrong with me as it just wasn’t happening, but now I’m thinking we were just completely getting our timings wrong. Just really hope my test won’t turn out to be a false alarm.

@PointyMcguire yes! It’s so disheartening, we started trying last April (ish) whilst we were a couple of months into buying our house and it was so stressful that I’ve put it down to stress and I’m hoping it was just stress that had prevented it for so long! Finger crossed for you!x

@Mummytobe93 I was confident af was on her way this month, sat with a hot water bottle all weekend to ease the period pains.. and I got a BFP! Was so shocked!

I had a mc in May and an eptopic 6 weeks later in June so I don't want to get my hopes up sitting at 10dpo but omg! I had to show someone quick! It's not even finished running haha

@Chlo1995 we also moved last year so were only half-heartedly trying for fear of it making a stressful situation worse. A friend said to me at the time once things settle it’ll all fall into place, but I kinda thought that was whimsical nonsense at the time

@PointyMcguire we only got the keys in the first week of November after a very loooooong and stressful 9 months, so I’m really hoping it was just down to stress and things will work out very soon for us!🤞🏼

@Chlo1995 and @Sassy144 they way I refrain from testing is by telling myself how expensive they are and remind myself il be disappointed if it's not a BFP even though it could be too early and then you cause yourself disappointment when your not out of the running until AF shows up 😅.

Hey girls, I have been following your thread from the beginning but wanted to wait until I posted but I need some moral support now and you all seem so lovely and supportive!

I am due on today- yesterday and this morning I 100% thought AF was about to start as had pink tinged cm but from this afternoon... nothing. I never spot before AF either, I just get a lovely shock when I go for a wee 😂 I know I need to test but im too scared, I think I have given myself PTSD getting negatives in previous months. Please hold my hand the next couple of days, if AF isn't here by Friday I will test as will be 15dpo then.
