I had positives with FRER even though I'd started bleeding. They very quickly faded though ☹️ the "early" digital read 'pregnant' but the week calculator one read 'not pregnant' and that was when I knew what was going to happen

MrsRosaline · 22/03/2022 21:26

Those of you that took ubiquinol (was it you @newtolineofduty ??) did you continue to take it after ovulation until you got a positive test? Freaking out a bit that I've continued to take it! 10DPO tomorrow: not tested yet.

newtolineofduty · 22/03/2022 21:28

@MrsRosaline yes it's safe during a potential pregnancy. It's just EPO that you've got to stop taking xxx

MrsRosaline · 22/03/2022 21:57

Thank you @newtolineofduty !

NorseKiwi · 23/03/2022 02:32

On the topic of ubiquinol I was talking to my nautropath about this earlier. She says whatever gets you pregnant, you keep on taking during early pregnancy, so in this case we were discussing ubiquinol. I've been taking it for 4.5months now (three months is the minimum required to improve your egg quality) she says that when scanned, it practically lights up the eggs. I found there were too many recommended things to take using "it starts with the egg" book, so now I just take pregnancy vitamin and ubiquinol each day, I have high hopes that it does improve my egg quality.

Hi everyone! I haven't been getting any notifications for this chat which is odd! Hope everyone is keeping well.

Quick update from me: still battle with sickness but generally starting to feel a bit more human now at 20 weeks. We're having a little boy which I'm so thrilled about! I had a feeling it was a boy from the get go! Hubby is ecstatic as he already has two girls and selfishly for me, it feels all new when it's a different gender I think. Everyone is SO excited for his arrival. Had our 20 week scan and so far so good although he did do a wee during the scan 🤣

Sending lots of love to everyone!

How are things going @MrsRosaline xx

MrsRosaline · 24/03/2022 16:32

Awww @hoola23 my daughter also did a wee during the 20week scan! I remember the sonography said 'your little girl has just emptied her bladder' and it was the most amazing thing to hear her referred to as 'my little girl'. 🥰🥰

I am 11DPO today. Not tested yet. I've got a lot of back pain and twinges but could be anything really!

hoola23 · 24/03/2022 16:59

@MrsRosaline haha my sonographer said exactly the same!! Was quite funny!

11dpo!! Eeek! Literally sending all the positive vibes for you hun! What's your view on testing these days? It's such a dilema isn't it. I always wanted to test but then would get so angry at myself when it was negative!! Xx

OP posts:
MrsRosaline · 24/03/2022 17:46

I figure if it's positive I'll stress. However if it's meant to be it'll still be positive if I wait until 13DPO! And if my period comes before then at least I can relax. I'm normally an early tester but I just can't face the heartache of another chemical. @hoola23

hoola23 · 24/03/2022 18:11

@MrsRosaline so sensible. I promised myself I would adopt that approach but failed every month! I have faith in you though! It's so true! I am so so hopeful for you hun xxx

@MrsRosaline I'm crossing everything for you chick! How are you feeling? I always told myself I'd never symptom spotting but it was so hard not to!!

@hoola23 @newtolineofduty looks like we're in the little boy club 😂🤣 we found out on Tuesday and it was hilarious - couldn't miss that it was a boy. I'm sure at one point he flipped us off and scratched his willy. My husband was in hysterics 😂 all healthy though, they said he has incredibly long legs, but since my husband is 6ft4 it was sort of a given.

Hope everyone is doing well xxx

MrsRosaline · 25/03/2022 09:55

Aww @CShandy01 how lovely. I'm 12DPO today. I have very bad backache! I still haven't tested. I figure if it's a chemical i just don't want to know and if it's positive it'll still be positive on Saturday or Sunday! Not sure when to test tbh or whether to just wait it out

NorseKiwi · 25/03/2022 10:03

ah I hear you @MrsRosaline , I am 10DPO on Saturday but know I really, really should wait till Tuesday when I know at 13DPO I am sure to get the proper result. I had a MMC last year so not sure I want to know I had a chemical too Sad

hoola23 · 25/03/2022 10:07

@CShandy01 hey lovely! Fab news about your little one, or not so little 🤣 he will clearly be tall like his daddy! How strange were all having boys!

I know this is prob really silly but I've been obsessing over baby's profile since our scan the other day and I'm terrified something is wrong with his face and that it could be that he has a flat nose or some sort or syndrome or something. I honestly can't control the panic. The scan pin basically shows no nose, on both of the pictures!

Before the scan I'd convinced myself he had a cleft lip so I asked the sonographer and she said she could see the top lip. Nothing was mentioned in the scan but I can't stop the worry. Am I being stupid or should I go and get a private scan to just make sure he is ok? Honestly I think I'm going to be such a neurotic mother 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 help!

OP posts:
MrsRosaline · 25/03/2022 10:56

@hoola23 if there was something wrong with his nose the sonographer would be able to see and they'd have told you!!

hoola23 · 25/03/2022 15:03

@MrsRosaline I know! But she just was so quick doing the scan I'm scared she missed it! I know how ridiculous I'm being 🤣🤣

MrsRosaline · 25/03/2022 17:15

Been having bad backache for days and it's cleared up a bit this afternoon 😖 I was quite enjoying the pain because I was hoping it was a pregnancy sign!

hoola23 · 25/03/2022 18:16

@MrsRosaline don't lose faith just yet, can defo be a sign. Is it 12dpo today? When would AF be due? You're doing amazing not to test hun! X

OP posts:
MrsRosaline · 25/03/2022 18:27

Yeah 12DPO today. Period normally has come by now as my luteal phase has been 11 days. However I added in B6 and luteal phase lengthened to 12 days. Period is due tomorrow. But again, the B6 supplement could make it longer I suppose. Last month my period came midday on 13DPO. So we'll see what happens tomorrow @hoola23 🤞🏻

CShandy01 · 25/03/2022 18:30

@MrsRosaline remember you're not out until AF shows up chick 🙂🙂 keeping all my fingers and toes crossed for you!!!

@hoola23 if the sonographer didn't say anything about any facial abnormalities at your scan then you'll be fine chick 🙂 I know this from experience - DD wasn't behaving during her 20 week scan and they couldn't see her facial features properly, so were unable to determine whether she had a cleft lip or not. I was then told to come back in a week for another scan so they could 100% confirm.

Same with this time round - little nugget wasn't behaving properly and the sonogrpaher wouldn't give up until she was adamant that she had seen that his face was formed properly. They legally have to record all of this as part of his development plan.

However, if it will give you peace of mind, book a private scan. As from now onwards unless you're under consultant care then you won't really be offered any more scans, just hearing the heart with the midwife xxx

MrsRosaline · 25/03/2022 18:44

Thank you @CShandy01 with my miscarriage in September I was spotting on 12DPO sooo this is a positive sign 👀

Period will probably come tomorrow now 🤦🏻‍♀️😩

newtolineofduty · 25/03/2022 19:32

@CShandy01 congratulations!!!! Our little mr was playing with his Willy in the scan argh!!!!!!! X we've got a 4d scan next weekend-taking the kids as a surprise! Congrats on getting the 20 week scan out of the way it's so scary! X

newtolineofduty · 25/03/2022 19:36

@hoola23 just seen your latest post! I'm not getting proper updates either so missing half the chat I think! Congrats on your baby boy! Boys club boys club!

It's funny I felt the same after our scan like she'd rushed and what it she missed something but I just had to keep telling myself that it's what they're trained to do and that's why they can do it so quickly! If he had a cleft lip/palate they deffo would have said as that's one of the main things they look at x try not to worry hun x

LittleDoveLove · 25/03/2022 20:35

Congratulations on having little boys I have one and he's so cuddly and gentle and relaxed 😊 they are lovely little boys x

hoola23 · 25/03/2022 21:18

@newtolineofduty @CShandy01 thanks for the reassurance ladies! , I'm sure everything is absolutely fine I just plant these seeds in my head and then panic. I really need to stop!!!
They also said I'd have two more scans one at 30 or something for a growth scan and then another at 37 weeks - is that not normal? Maybe it's becuase my bmi is likely around 200 now 🤣🤣🤣🤣

@MrsRosaline stay strong lovely!! Your patience is admirable!! You can do this!! Xxx

@LittleDoveLove I never thought I'd have a boy as only have girls in my family so I'm so excited! Although I fear mine will be a little rascal for some reason 🤣🤣🤣
