@Aims1991 yeah that's what I've read. To be honest I'd love to feel like this for the rest of the pregnancy, I feel 90% like myself again, I was getting a bit depressed!

So where did all of you stand on the whole laying down after sex thing? Did you do it? DH thinks I'm mad and is telling me it doesn't matter but I go to the toilet about 20 mins after and I always worry it's a bit of a waste doing the sex if I get up so soon after!

hoola23 · 07/01/2022 21:32

@MrsRosaline my DH used to laugh at me when I threw my legs in the air afterwards 🤣 made no difference! I think lying flat for 15 mins after would be beneficial, I'm sure I read that somewhere and that's what I did!

OP posts:
MrsRosaline · 07/01/2022 21:47

Hahaha so you did go to the toilet then 15 mins after?? @hoola23

hoola23 · 07/01/2022 21:53

@MrsRosaline yeah about that! I'd just lie still and flat trying to keep everything in there 🤣🤣🤣 then straight to the toilet!

When is AF due for you this cycle? Sending all the positive thoughts for you this month!

OP posts:
MrsRosaline · 07/01/2022 22:10

Not due until 28 Jan, but will depend when I ovulate @hoola23. I'm only on CD8 😩

hoola23 · 07/01/2022 22:23

@MrsRosaline it's horrible waiting isn't it! I realised today everything is about waiting and wishing time away!! You want the days to hurry up to know if it's a BFP and I'm wishing away this whole pregnancy and soon you'll be doing the same! Such fun times 🤣🤣

OP posts:
MrsRosaline · 07/01/2022 22:46

Yep @hoola23 - pregnancy is one loooong wait.

hoola23 · 08/01/2022 18:42

Well, the nausea is well and truly back! I felt so normal yesterday it was bitter sweet waking up and feeling like shit again! I also feel MASSIVE, everything is tight already! It's not baby, it's me eating crap food for the last two months!!

OP posts:
MrsRosaline · 08/01/2022 20:56

@hoola23 totally totally get that. Try not to worry about it. Just eat what you can. There will be plenty of time to eat healthier later down the line. The baby will take what it needs from you. Trust me, I lived on hash browns and coke for 9 months and DD is just fine

newtolineofduty · 08/01/2022 22:43

@MrsRosaline mmmm hash browns!!!!!!! I always laid down for 30 mins afterwards and when I went to the loo and (tmi) saw it all dripping out I hated it!!!! I'd think 'look at all those potential babies just going down the loo!'

@hoola23 that's fab (but rubbish!) news! X but mainly fab! Easy for me to say though xx

MrsRosaline · 08/01/2022 22:55

Omg that is exactly how I feel @newtolineofduty 😂😂

CShandy01 · 09/01/2022 09:31

@MrsRosaline I used to lie on my back with my legs sort of curled up against my chest and would just stretch them up in the air occasionally for about 10 mins after sex. Mostly because 1) I couldn't be arsed to move and 2) DH would always have a shower after so I would wait for him to finish before I waddled to the bathroom 😂😂

CShandy01 · 09/01/2022 09:33

So called up the GP to say I haven't heard from a midwife and then yesterday got my phone call to arrange my first height, weight and bloods check. I'll be over 10 weeks when they do that, but hey ho at least the ball is moving. Forgot that they also have everything online on that badger notes thing (did that with DD) so spent ages setting that up. I swear in my first pregnancy I was having appointments left right and centre! Didn't remember it being so relaxed! Xx

CShandy01 · 09/01/2022 09:35

I've also just remembered that I'm going to have to do that for awful gestational diabetes check because of my BMI being over 30 😩😩😩 I HATED that last time!!! Xx

newtolineofduty · 09/01/2022 09:53

@CShandy01 agh my friend had to do that it sounds awful!

So it turns out the second time is more relaxed! You don't see the midwife as much and the HV doesn't come out to see you before the baby is born like last time because they assume you know it all! 😳 x

MrsRosaline · 09/01/2022 10:38

@CShandy01 I'm so glad you said that. I was also wondering about my BMI, because it is around 30. I've gained quite a bit since the miscarriage in September (1.5stone!!) and I've been wondering if that might affect me in any way. Has anyone said anything!?

MrsRosaline · 09/01/2022 10:38

P.S I also did the test when I was pregnant with DD. 🤢

hoola23 · 09/01/2022 11:06

I'll be having that test then too! Think my bmi is prob around 32 now!

Vomiting is back with a vengeance now but at the same time, the bleeding is ongoing and it's really stressing me out! I've got my scan tomo morn so will find out either way but it's so frustrating. Dealing with constant nausea and sickness to then being stressed about bleeding I'm just getting so fed up!! Rant over!

Aims1991 · 10/01/2022 08:00

@hoola23 good luck for today. I also have a scan booked for tonight, my symptoms come and go and the other night I fainted so I'm a nervous wreck so I just wanted to get checked 😳

hoola23 · 10/01/2022 11:16

@Aims1991 oh god! Hope you're ok! Are you eating and drinking enough?

Scan went well this morning, 9+3 so measuring how it should for now. Consultant mentioned progesterone supplements but I'm not too sure I want to take them. If I was 6 weeks I would but it would only be for a week or so- anyone taken these before?
