@hoola23 oh no hun I don't know. Could be vaccine side effects? (The gastro stuff not the bleeding). What time is your scan tomo? I'm so sorry you're going through this x

@hoola23 so sorry to hear that. It might not be the end. Some women do bleed. Can you phone the early pregnancy unit and get a blood check?

@MrsRosaline @newtolineofduty I'm pretty sure it's the end unfortunately. Exactly what happened last time, started dark brown, then pink, then red. Not yet a period so to speak but I'm sure it will be in 24 hours or so. I've got my scan tomo anyway so will just get confirmation from them I guess. I am so done with conception and pregnancy and babies etc. I honestly think I'm just not made to be a mother

@hoola23 I'm so so sorry. How many weeks/days are you? It doesn't seem to fit with the fact that your hcg levels are clearly so high!? I don't want to dismiss your totally understandable worries but my friend is currently six months pregnant and she had bright red bleeding and even passed a big blood clot and all was fine with her baby! Thank goodness you have the scan tomo to know either way x crossing everything and sending love x

@newtolineofduty such is life! Can't control these things can we. I'm more annoyed that my body keeps carrying on when clearly something is wrong. Just feels like I've wasted my time and have felt so utterly horrific for the past 3 weeks. I should be 6+5 today still feel very rough and my boobs still hurt but google says it takes a few days for pregnancy symptoms to stop after a miscarriage apparently. I'm 99.9% sure there won't be a viable pregnancy tomo or they will see something but no heartbeat. I know bleeding can be common but it's actually quite rare for bright red blood and it's exactly what happened last time so that's why I'm pretty confident it's a miscarriage.

@hoola23 I get how devastated you must feel, and I agree with @newtolineofduty I don't want to dismiss what you're feeling but it's worth not dismissing it as gone, at least until your scan. The fact that you are still feeling sick is promising. I thought sickness stopped immediately once it detached/left your body. So it might still be in there and viable. Is the bleeding getting heavier?

@MrsRosaline thank you lovely. I think I'm just very realistic about it all and my gut is normally right! I had my flu jab and my booster yesterday so I honestly don't know if I'm feeling rough from that or if it's pregnancy related. I just know I still feel crap. So this morning it was very dark brown discharge then it went to red blood and just checked again and it's a very dark red but thick type blood with tiny bits of clots. Not enough to wear a pad or like a period at all but I feel like my periods about to start if that makes sense. No pain just that heavy I know AF is arriving feeling which is why I'm so confident it's gone

Well I'm keeping everything crossed for good news tomorrow @hoola23. Please update us, I'll be thinking of you. What time is the scan?

Just finished, measuring 6+6 with a strong heartbeat so I just burst into tears 🤣 I do have a haemorrhage in my uterus though which I need to speak to my midwife about but they didn't seem too concerned. Anyone know anything about that? Xx

@hoola23 that's fantastic!! So thrilled for you. I also cried my eyes out at my 12week scan with DD .. I was convinced they would tell me there was nothing there, even though I was so sick 🤦🏻‍♀️ So pleased for you, honestly. Xx

@hoola23 I can only assume it's similar to what I had-see the middle section on here which is taken from the nhs bleeding in pregnancy leaflet I was given..... all normal xx

I am only 4DPO and itching to test... 🤦🏻‍♀️ I think it's because this is the first month we've actually tried since the miscarriage in September. But my God the days are going slowly 😂

Thanks all!! Yes such a relief but I went to my EPU appt too just to check out the haemorrhage thing and the Dr told me that I released two eggs last month! She showed me the two corpus letums which was cool! So I have to go back in two weeks to make sure the other egg hasn't implanted outside of the uterus. She said it's very rare but not impossible. I do remember having bad ovulation pain that month and I had ovulation spotting so that prob explains the double egg! I am so grateful there is only ONE pregnancy that's for sure! God I'm only 6 weeks into this and have already had such dramas!

@newtolineofduty yes that's what it was! She said it was small so I'm hoping that blood I had was it. Blood seems to have slowed down for now so fingers crossed it stays that way!

@hoola23 mine lasted afew weeks last time but I think this time it's been reabsorbed by my body as it didn't last long.
