@hoola23 haha I'm not saying I want to lol, the break is great after all the trying for over a year. Just didn't think he would find it weird🤣

hoola23 · 12/12/2021 11:34

@Aims1991 I defo don't think he's alone in those thoughts!

Hope everyone is doing ok! Morning sickness has really set in and it's bloody awful. I hate throwing up as it is and it seems early to be like this! I keep retching, it's HORRIBLE! Someone tell me this gets better!

Aims1991 · 12/12/2021 12:49

@hoola23 I don't have any sickness just nausea some days. My bloating/cramps have stopped but the sore boobs isn't fun. I really hope I don't get sickness. How far along are you now

hoola23 · 12/12/2021 13:32

@Aims1991 see I've had zero bloating, the odd very mild cramp for a min but that's it so strange how different everyone feels it! I'm 5 weeks now but have felt a bit sickly for the last 4 days and now I'm throwing up and retching and the thought of food makes me feel ill

OP posts:
Aims1991 · 12/12/2021 13:40

@hoola23 I can't deal with being sick so I hope I avoid it. I can't find anything I want to eat. Then when I start eating I become full

CShandy01 · 13/12/2021 11:17

Morning all! How are we all doing? Xx

hoola23 · 13/12/2021 12:02

@CShandy01 doing ok thanks hun. Just feel like absolute shit! I did this one this morning to make sure he's holding on. So pleased it seems to be progressing for now

How is everyone?

Afternoon @CShandy01 @hoola23 I'm doing good. That's brill you've got 3+. I might buy one to check🙈 I've been reading on other threads about people getting there HCG levels checked so early. Is this normal to do it?

hoola23 · 13/12/2021 12:36

@Aims1991 I think only if you've had losses before you can get your hcg checked or if it's via ivf etc. Otherwise you just wait

OP posts:
Aims1991 · 13/12/2021 12:38

@hoola23 okay thanks. Guessing the fact I've still got some symptoms coming and going is still a good sign. I've got my phone consultation tomorrow with midwife so I'm looking forward to that

CShandy01 · 13/12/2021 13:00

@Aims1991 you usually just wait unless you're classed as high risk or if you've had more than one loss quite close to one another.

I can't ask to see a midwife at my doctors until I'm 8 weeks, so I've got a long wait to go 😂😂 xx

Aims1991 · 13/12/2021 13:20

@CShandy01 8 weeks wow. How far along are you now

hoola23 · 13/12/2021 13:51

@CShandy01 yeah I can't do a referral until 6 weeks. Only going to do it after my scan if everything is ok I think. Be around 6+5 then

OP posts:
Aims1991 · 13/12/2021 14:54

@hoola23 @CShandy01 do any of you have an early scanned booked

MrsRosaline · 13/12/2021 15:23

Wow!! Great news on the 3+ @hoola23 !!

I am feeling very frustrated. I'm on CD14, and all OPKs read "low" for some reason. I've had no high yet. 🙄☹️

Aims1991 · 13/12/2021 15:47

@MrsRosaline mine were always like that. They would go from low to high in a day then peak. Stay positive

hoola23 · 13/12/2021 15:50

@MrsRosaline thanks hun! Oh mine were the same, I only got high one month! They were always low and then one day peak! If you have ewcm then defo get down to business! X

OP posts:
hoola23 · 13/12/2021 15:51

@Aims1991 yeah booked in on the 23rd x

Aims1991 · 13/12/2021 16:06

@hoola23 I'm booked for Saturday 😳 only date I could get before Christmas. My OH is hyper about it

MrsRosaline · 13/12/2021 17:25

Thanks @hoola23 and @Aims1991. It's weird because I've been tracking since January and this is the first time (other than the month after miscarriage) I haven't had a high yet. 🤦🏻‍♀️ And typically it's the first month since the miscarriage we are able to try again 😭

hoola23 · 13/12/2021 17:58

@MrsRosaline I used to stress about the no highs but I conceived without a high this time too so I wouldn't read into it hun. I used the cheap opk to just make sure I could see when it was close to a peak but just kept DTD every other day since cd6 and it worked, even without the highs! You'll be fine as long as your getting down to the baby making!! Wishing you EVERY luck this month hun!!! ❤️❤️

OP posts:
MrsRosaline · 13/12/2021 18:02

Thanks @hoola23. Did you just get a peak reading then? I usually do get a few days of high! We have been DTD. But we can only do in the night once DD has gone to bed and I'm a bit worried because I'm sure I read morning sex is more successful...

hoola23 · 13/12/2021 18:20

@MrsRosaline yeah the last 3 cycles I got no highs at all! Straight to peak from low but I just kept DTD every other day and so glad I did as the month I conceived I got peak cd12 whereas I was normally cd 15/16 ish. I really don't think it makes a difference about morning/eve sex hun as long as you're doing it, you're in with a chance. Do you have ewcm at all? What cd are you now? Xx

newtolineofduty · 13/12/2021 21:53

Glad to hear all is well @hoola23 @Aims1991 @CShandy01! Excited for all the scanning ahead!

@MrsRosaline I only got highs on 2/5 months we were trying. Other months straight to peak! I would say most couples who are trying for their second can only do it at night so I wouldn't worry about that xxx

MrsRosaline · 13/12/2021 22:30

How strange! Oh well, I'll just go with it. Had an awful cough last few days but went for a PCR and it was negative so at least I know it's not Covid 🤦🏻‍♀️ Hopefully I'll see high or peak tomorrow. Did you always test in the morning @newtolineofduty @hoola23 @Aims1991 ?
