Ttc after miscarriage 🤞🌈✨

Just a thread for any ladies ttc after a miscarriage! Nice to get some support from people going through the same thing. So I had a MMC at ten weeks nearly three weeks ago now. I'm still getting faint positive on tests. My ovulation tests are still all over the place possibly due to the HCG still being in my system. So not totally accurate right now. So I'm currently stuck in limbo land either waiting for ovulation or my period 🤔 any ladies want to join the journey?!?!

@Skl2021 wow that is quite long haha and I definitely wouldn’t have the energy to DTD that much 😂 do you have long cycles then? I guess I’m lucky that my cycle is pretty regular, I also get other signs of ovulation like pain and EWCM. Fingers crossed you ovulate soon and you get another perfect cycle 🤞🏻

@JuniperAndTonic yes my cycles are a bit all over it. Changes from month to month so makes it hard to pin point ovulation! I had one at the start of the year which was 50 days long 🙈🤦 they started to stay around 30-35 so hopefully not to long but we will see! A nice early one will do Me so I can stop DTD 🤣 yes I get ewcm for quite a few days! But no pains! Good luck to you too 🤞✨ a Christmas bfp would be lovely 🙌

A Christmas BFP would be amazing! If I ovulate when my app predicts (day 14), I’d be 11DPO on Christmas Day so it’s possible, although I don’t really like testing early. Might not be able to resist though 😅

Argh in a conundrum...so it's been 3 weeks since my MC. Still getting v faint positive tests. Went to EPU as advised. Scanned me and said that I still have a small amount of pregnancy tissue left. Sonographer told me I'm about to ovulate. Do I actively TTC now or should i hold off till after my first period ( EPU advised me to let the tissue pass on its own accord before any further action if needed). Not sure what to do for the best...x

Has anyone heard or tried ferti-lilly?

A Christmas BFP would be amazing! If I ovulate when my app predicts (day 14), I’d be 11DPO on Christmas Day so it’s possible, although I don’t really like testing early. Might not be able to resist though 😅

If I ovulate as normal which I'm unsure yet as its only been 12 days since the start of my MC. I will also be 11dpo Christmas day. I'm still getting negative OPK's but I have a feeling I will ovulate a few days later.

I'd go for it, unless they strictly said no but I can't see that because I'm guessing the tissue will just break down naturally.

@Jayjane79 well I spoke to them this morning again and she was like do not have sex without protection....oops! Best abstain now. So frustrating as I'm desperate to be pregnant again...hoping I haven't brought about an infection now 😫 x

Wellllllll I'm in a similar situation. I thought I'd stopped bleeding and dtd for 2 days then I had a further 2 more days of bleeding but was very light. It has now fully stopped. I'm worried myself if ive caused an Infection. But I have no intentions of waiting so I've started my opk's 3rd day negative now and 12 days since bleeding started but 2 days since its stopped. It was the lightest miscarriage I've had. I've had previous ones in my 20's and it was horrendous. I had no pain with this just a dull ache for 2 days and never once filled a pad.

Yes I've had negative tests 2 days in a row now but my HCG was already very low on Thursday at only 30.

What was the reason they said not to have unprotected sex ? If its just because you need a period in-between I'd say get jiggy.

@Jayjane79 they said it's the risk of infection if your cervix is still open? ( think then it's still only low) now feeling crampy. Hope it's not the signs of an infection x

It could be your ovulation, havd you done any opk's ?

@Jayjane79 yeah it was nearly positive 2 days ago and then yest at my scan she said I was about to ovulate..don't normally get ovulation cramps though x

I'd get jiggy and dtd. You never know.

Well look at it this way you've already got jiggy now you may as well carry on and hope to catch that egg. I've also petrified my self now about infection but I've done it so no turning back. Just keeping my fingers crossed I havnt and I have better luck this time.

I started my miscarriage 16 days ago and still bleeding lightly (when I wipe etc) I am really keen to start ttc asap and the nurse told me I can try as soon as get negative pregnancy test. My tests are negative now thankfully and basically I was just wondering if anyone knows if I could ovulate whilst still bleeding lightly? Or will that happen once bleeding has completely finished? I am pretty clueless and haven’t been tracking or anything.

I would start your opk's as they should give you an honest reading now I'd your pregnant tests are negative.

Hiya ladies could I join please? AF came today I think a chemical pregnancy as had so many positives on different tests but is what it is, my fertile window should be around 23rd-27th. I had a MMC in September at 12 weeks and D+C on 01.10 since then this will be my first cycle tracking etc, how are you all?

@claremc1983 I'm trying to stay positive and think it'll happen when it's meant to but it's hard and I know my partner finds it tough aswell, how are you?

Hey ladies! So I'm cd 14 now and no signs of ovulation. Did anyone elses ovulation change? Or come later after miscarriage. I'm so scared im not going to ovulate this month 😩 xx
