Not started a new thread before so I’ve just gone back through thread 19 and tried to tag everyone whose posted. Apologies if I’ve ended up tagging anyone though that no longer wants to follow the thread. I’m sure there’s been quite a few bfps. Here’s hoping for many more on here too🤞

@susiebluebell I think that's fair to say yes, no excitement yet. After 3 MCs it really does rob you of that joy. Hopefully I'll get there. We've told no one yet I just feel uncomfortable about it.
Hope the house move is going/went well. It's such a stressful time 💕

OneDay86 · 30/10/2021 15:24

Hi everyone! How are you all doing? Sorry, I’ve been away and not been on here for a little bit. There’s so much to catch up on, just read through everyone’s posts now. Firstly welcome to all the new comers! I’m so sorry to read about all your losses and that you find yourself here on this thread. But the ladies on here are so lovely and supportive, and I’ve personally found it a great comfort and positive outlet during the tough times ❤️

@susiebluebell how have you been doing? Yes we did get sunshine that next day!… swiftly followed by the return of rain the day after that 😂 Just been away on a staycation with the OH to try and relax and have some quality time together…. And it was actually dry and sunny for most of it! Plus I love the autumn leaves at the moment, so pretty 😊

@Shortmamashortcycles hope your cycle has settled down now? My first cycle after my last MC was really short - 19 days. Then the 2nd cycle was a more normal length for me at 27 days. I know hormones are all over the place after MC and can affect cycles for a few months. Also randomly skipped a cycle earlier this year, can be so frustrating when you’re not sure what’s going on.

@hewegoagain how are you doing? I’m so sorry to hear you had that awful situation with cancelling your midwife appointment. It still shocks me how insensitive some people can be! I had my midwife’s number so just cancelled through text and even that text felt so hard to send, I can only imagine how hard that was doing it in person and then being questioned on it. I’m so sorry ❤️

Hi @re6ecca and @Sarah0409, recognise you from the last thread, glad you’ve both found the new thread all ok. How have you both been doing? @Sarah0409 I’ve personally found OPKs really helpful in pinpointing when I ovulate and giving us the best chance of dtd at the right time. It’s the only thing I use, I don’t temp but that’s mainly because I know I’d get a bit obsessive with it! I’m already a POAS addict 😂 Also, I’m not that far behind you in age, I’m turning 36 soon!

Thank you for the positive stories @bez91 @elsimo and @SLCxxx and keeping us updated! Nice to hear from you all 🥰 Reading about your journeys and BFPs always leaves me feeling more hopeful and positive. Glad your 12 week scan went well @bez91! I feel like that’s gone by so quick, although probably doesn’t for you. Wishing you all the best and keep us updated ❤️

@StillJustWaiting firstly so sorry to hear about your losses. I’m TTC #1 too and sometimes feels like such a long and hard journey to become a mum. With regards to your cycles, have you thought about trying ovulation tests to pinpoint when you exactly ovulate? Sounds like you could have ovulated on days 13 and 14. I’ve never had ovulation bleeds but I have heard of other people having it. Do you ever experience other symptoms around ovulation, like ovulation pain or EWCM?

@Kelb79 I’m so sorry for your loss and everything you’re going through. With me, I don’t think I ovulated between my MC and my first period. I think my period came about 2 weeks after the bleeding completely stopped from the MC. I remember it took ages for my HCG to completely drop and I didn’t get a negative test until just over 3 weeks after I miscarried, then my period returned 2 days after that, although I know it’s different for everyone. Hopefully your cycles will return to normal soon. I also got high LH tests when I was still having a positive pregnancy test after the MC so assumed it was the levels of HCG that were still in my system as I’m pretty sure I’ve read somewhere you can’t ovulate if HCG is still present?

Hope everyone is doing ok. Fingers crossed for BFPs on here soon 😊 I’m currently CD9 on my 3rd cycle post MC. Trying not to get too obsessive with TTC again, but it’s so hard not to! I’ve been prescribed 6 cycles worth of low dose Clomid to try, has anyone else ever used this? Thinking if nothing has happened by January I might give it a go… just a little nervous about taking it, don’t know why. Anyway, hope you’re all having a lovely weekend x

Hi everyone, can I join? I'm 33, been TTC for about 3 years. Got tired of TTC earlier this year, went back on the pill and behold bfp in June. Lost pregnancy to MMC late August. First AF started Sept 28 and ran heavy for 2 weeks. Clear blue opk flashed for 7 days from the 13th of October, peaked in the afternoon on the 19th. BD with OH nearly everyday until the 20th of October. Now tww . Does anyone know when I can test?

I'm so sorry to hear of all our losses, us women are strong folk Flowers. Baby dust to us all

re6ecca · 30/10/2021 19:00

Hey @OneDay86 glad to hear you're doing good and not obsessing over TTC! Me too really, I am somewhere in my TWW and I'm just kind of letting things happen at the moment. I have a clinic appointment next Thursday with the NHS who said they would start screening for secondary infertility as it will have been nearly 9 months since I fell pregnant (after falling ~every 3 months for a year). I find that the further out I get from miscarriage the pain of seeing babies etc doesn't go away but I dont have that hopeless, deep desperation to be pregnant quite as much, even though I still want to be. I'm almost as scared of getting pregnant as not getting pregnant!
Fingers crossed everyone gets their sticky BFP this month!

Hi @Treesaa welcome! People do test as early as 9 or 19 days post ovulation, but that can be uncertain and won't always show a bfp that early. Best to wait until your period is due. Less heartache about possible false tests! All the best x
susiebluebell · 01/11/2021 21:08

Obviously I meant *9 or 10 days

Adele12345 · 01/11/2021 21:59

Hello! I’m new here too…I’m 32 and have been TTC baby number one since May 2021. I had a miscarriage at 6 weeks. I had spotting on Tuesday 26th and really heavy bleeding till Saturday. My HCG levels were quite low on the Wednesday and had more than halved by the Saturday so I’m hoping to get a negative test this week and for my cycles to return back to normal ASAP. I’m just going to start trying straight away.

Timing couldn’t be more perfect given that my sister in law (brothers wife) is due to give birth any day now. She’s about a week overdue!

CommaStop · 01/11/2021 22:33

Hello all - hoping you don't mind if I jump on. I'm read through your posts and am sorry for your losses and bad experiences with care. I'm 40 - I have two living children who are 4&6. I had a baby girl at 35 weeks last December who died at 19 days old. We had to wait till June to start TTC due to emergency section. Had a positive test nearly 4 weeks ago but started spotting and then heavy bleeding at 4.5 weeks. Had nearly two weeks of bleeding - heavy then very light then heavy again for a few days before finally tapering off. Have been regularly testing and pregnancy tests never went negative (using boots own brand cheapie sticks). Had a scan etc and nothing remaining in uterus. Now I'm really confused - haven't been anle to track ovulation as opks coming up positive all the time from hcg. Two days ago had some old/brown spotting and now my preg tests (which I've been waiting to go negative - have gone slightly darker. We have been DTD since about CD14 - when I stopped bleeding - but didn't think I could ov with hcg still detectable. So now I have slightly darker preg teats, EWCM and some cramping today. No idea if this is a new pregnancy or I'm ovulating or what the hell
Is going on Confused

Hi everyone, I'd like to join this thread too, I have ready many of your posts and can relate to so many of your stories.

We are ttc #2, our DS just turned 3. We started ttc 18 months ago and have so far had four miscarriages all in the first trimester (the first after we had seen a heart beat)... we've also done one round of IVF but didn't even get any viable embryos (we did genetic testing for chromosomal abnormalities).

I've had all the usual fertility tests and the only known issue is low AMH and therefore crappy eggs. But I do know that some women with low AMH do have successful pregnancies.

We'll keep trying naturally (no more IVF), am currently 8dpo and not feeling at all pregnant. I'm taking coenzyme q10 and n acetyl cysteine, baby aspirin and progesterone. Have done some acupuncture. Don't drink much alcohol and hardly consume any caffeine. I know the chances of us having a second baby are slim to nil but keep hoping for miracle rainbow...

Hi to all of you and good luck on your journeys!

If anyone has any success stories of women with low AMH having babies I would love to hear them please!

NutsandPuffs · 02/11/2021 04:55

Oh and I'm 38 years old. Also taking vitb12 and folic acid...

Treesaa · 02/11/2021 07:05

@susiebluebell

Thanks for your reply. I'm out as AF showed up this morning. Onwards and upwards.

Tinypeanut1224 · 02/11/2021 08:41

Hi, I was wondering if I can jump in too?
I'm 31 years old and have a 16 month old son. I've had two MCs this year, one at 7weeks in April and one at 5weeks last month. Both of these pregnancies were actually unplanned but the loss last month really knocked me and made me realise that we were actually ready to start TTC #2. We started straight away and I was expecting it to take a while for my body to regulate after the chemical/MC last month but I actually got my BFP last week! I'm very aware that I'm very lucky for this to have happened but also trying not to get too excited due to my previous losses. Would be lovely to join the journey with you ☺️ Sending baby dust to everyone xxx

susiebluebell · 03/11/2021 22:15

Hello to all the newbies! Sorry that you find yourselves here. There's a lot of support and friendliness on this thread xx

Borntobeamummy · 03/11/2021 22:33

Hi all,

Hope you don't mind me joining. Reading all your posts has really helped me not feel alone and given me some previous hope. I recently had a MMC discovered at the 12 week scan on 4th October. The baby measured 10+5, I'd seen it well and with a heartbeat at 10+4 so it was a real shock to say the least. It was my first pregnancy, Im devastated and it still feels like a struggle to get through the day. Part of me wants to be pregnant again straight away and part of me feels maybe we should wait. We have DTD a few times since and no signs in pregnant but unsure where I am in my cycle. I have done a couple of tests with a little hope but all BFN so far which I've felt disappointed about, it's like a kick in the teeth while you're already down.

Thank you all for sharing your stories x

CLP86 · 03/11/2021 22:41

Hi, can I join too?
I'm 35 and we got our BFP after 10 months of trying. Sadly I miscarried at 7 weeks - pregnancy of unknown location & (finally) stopped bleeding (tmi!) on 25/10.

I hoping for my period so I can look towards trying again.. I'm so sorry to read of everyone's losses...

Kelb79 · 04/11/2021 09:48

AF finally arrived today … 🥳/ 😢
I can’t even figure out how I’m feeling!
I’ve been desperate to get back to normal but I wasn’t supposed to bleed again for months…. Makes it hit hone really hard again.
Going for blood tests this morning to check my folate & b12 abs have called my fertility team to get the ball rolling again.
I thought I was done with all this, I’m gutted, but it’s good to take steps forward again… 🤷🏼‍♀️
Eurgh!!!! TTC is evil!!!!!

USaYwHatNow · 04/11/2021 19:44

🤞 For those hoping for BFP's soon and for others hoping for things to get back to normal or to ovulate, whatever you're hoping for! Currently in the two week wait I think if my temperatures continue to climb. Managed to BD 4 days before ov and day of ovulation so mer! We'll see! Last time I conceived before I had my miscarriage we BD'd on the day of ovulation and two days prior so here's hoping.

PumpkinEverything · 05/11/2021 19:37

Congrats @bez91 ! I’ve been quietly following along all this time and checking in 😊 so so glad to hear your 12 week scan went well, and I hope that within the next few weeks you can relax and get a bit excited about it all.

Our little rainbow baby was born on the 11th October, on her due date 😊 almost 4 weeks old and currently lying on my chest! It took me a while to be able to relax and get excited, but I got there! I had a private scan at 7 weeks, scan at EPU at 9 weeks, normal 12 week scan, gender scan at 16, normal scan at 20, 4D scan at 29, and then 3 growth/position scans 😂 so it helped me having quite a few checks of baby!

susiebluebell · 05/11/2021 20:02

Omg @PumpkinEverything I remember you! Huuuuuuge congratulations and welcome to the world, little one!

God, that means I really have been on here a long time...

winkles23 · 06/11/2021 18:35

Hi ladies, hope you don't mind me joining! 9dpo today and driving myself crazy with line eyes again. I was certain I could see something but now I can't lol. I suppose 9dpo on an internet cheapie would be a miracle anyway!

Thanks @PumpkinEverything lovely of you to check in. Thought about you a few times and how you were doing 😊 congratulations on the little one that's great news - I knew it was October! Im consultant led so should be having scans at 16,20,24,28,32 and 36 so plenty to keep the anxiety at bay 😆😊

winkles23 · 07/11/2021 10:16

10dpo today. I feel like I can see a line but I really don't know anymore
