im feeling extra festive today!! iv almost finished my xmas shopping and am sat listenin to festive xmas music as i type!!
i was just wondering... is there any reliable evidence that proves chocolate is a medicinal aid for those TTC??? i may start trials anyone want to join in?? i may be gettin plump but that aint no baby fillin my tummy at least i would have a legitimate reason for my excessive chocolate consumption either that or i should start my sentences with...'my name is ei and im a chocoholic!!'haha lol

Well....I've been out celebrating Day 80 of my oh so wonderful cycle! dontcha just luuuurve mother nature!

Had a lovely night out with my bezzie mates.

It's the 1st time in AGES I've gone out and just let myself go. I'm V suprised I can type anything, actually, as I seeing double!

Does anyone just think "Sod it, it'll happen when It's supposed to" and just get plastered?

I've now corrected this about 12 times, ha ha! p'raps not as p**sed as I thought - well it has taken about ten mins to right this

haha fruitloop you seem to have made less mistakes than me and i have only had two...er ok three glasses of vino!!
i always found that if i bought anything pale in colour to wear on my bottom half ie white pants etc my AF would make an appearance soon after so i either couldnt wear said item of clothing or whilst wearing said item < cue embarrassing incident in cafe in l'pool city centre flashback>
i recommend it as it cured my last long cycle (47 days of hell!!) not as long as yours but even still its worth a go eh!!?

Note to self - must buy some pale coloured trousers, It's a bit like (in my smoking days) waiting ages for a bus and as soon as you've lit up a fag about 12 turn up - worked everytime! Not that I condone smoking of course !

Are you a bit bored on CD39 too?

My DH has suggested that anyone waiting for AF should go roller skating in the park with a little dog on a lead to make her turn up like in the tampax advert years ago. Might be worth a try...

I've just started temping in the last couple of days and it's made me more confused than ever. I guess you need more than three days' temperatures for it to make sense, but my graph already looks like a roller coaster and I'm mystified...

hey, ive browsed thru a few threads before, im 5 days over due now, gettingg quite excited about doing a test, prob do one mon or tues, not sure when is best tho.

Btw, I've been drinking like a fish since ttc, much more than when I wasn't ttc. As soon as I'm told not to do something, I'm just shocking. I would've been just like Eve in the Garden of Eden God: "Don't eat the fruit." Me: "What fruit? Where is it? Oh, that looks nice Why can't I eat it? Is anyone else allowed to eat it? What would happen if I did? Cos I've kinda eaten it..."

On the occasions when I do have a skinful (and there have been many!) I like to remember that something like 60% of all pregnancies are unplanned and it's likely that alcohol was involved in most of those pregnancies. AND your foetus doesn't share your bloodstream for the first six weeks (although that's not what my doctor said, unfortunately - she said "Excitable, you need to drink less...")

Thanks for that! Yes, I've been a bit of lurker but there's only so much reading about conception you can do before you need to start talking about it.

Have spent last couple of days convincing myself that I could still be pregnant despite af, but have admitted defeat now and I am looking forward to having another go this month.

That 2WW was a killer and i'm impatient at the best of times

I have a dd who is 2 and I would really like another baby. It took 18 months of trying with DD. We did start trying april/may time but hten had a set back with me not well (another story) but have now appeared to ditch the contraception and see what happens.
I am on day 31. My cycles are usually around 35 days but the odd ones earlier!

Its all confussing. I was surprised when I caught first time as had been doing temp and gave up as nothing happening then when I concieved it was 4 -5 days after I thought I ovulated!

Can I join this thread please......

I denied my AF in my first month of ttc too, Babyfever It's so difficult not to get caught up in the potential excitement of it all, isn't it.

Have to go now, haven't had any tea yet and have a rumbly tumbly!

I am also ttc #2. My dd 10 months.My af is due in about 3 days. I have had a clear blue digital early test for about a week but not sure when to use it.should I wait till i am late or just do it.

no1 if you don't like BFN's I'd wait till the day after AF is due. sometimes AF is easier to accept than a BFN. hope it's not though. good luck.

have read somewhere else on MN that xmas and nye are popular conception nights making september the busiest month in maternity wards! oh well, no stopping me and dh now...this baby is taking it's time so we can't be choosy, i'm sure the bfp will turn up when it's good and ready.
