aww, thanks pistachio. I have a superstition about this month, as I have a big exam coming up. DS was concieved just before my PhD viva, so I feel (based on a sample of 1) that exams and conception are linked for me. If I don't get a bfp this time I am going to start finding it difficult I think.

sambrads · 10/01/2008 11:16

i think we all need some good ness to cheer us up!!!!

ggg i am sorry to here af is here not good but try and keep your head up!!!

i am on day 19 of cycle is there really any point in trying at this stage in your cycle????

i have to see the doc tomorrow to see how the bloods are !!!!

hurry up the 23rd i need to no !!!!!!!!!

hi ya fruitloop were are you today ??

cricri · 10/01/2008 11:57

Sorry AF arrived for ClairePO and GGG and that everybody is feeling a bit down today. The weather certainly doesn't help!
I'm glad I read the posts about agnus castus before going for the appointment with my homeopath this morning because guess what she's given me... agnus castus to take twice a day! Plus a whole load of other stuff, including remedies for seasonal affective disorder. She said agnus castus is safe until I get BFP and then to stop taking it.
I've also been drinking grapefruit juice the last couple of cycles and definitely noticed EWCM this month so not sure if it's linked. I started drinking it about CD9 this month but I'm not sure what I based that on - is it more effective early in the cycle in the run-up to ovulation?

GreenGlassGoblin · 10/01/2008 12:28

oh this is getting silly. AF gone AWOL now. One drop of blood then nothing. Spent 40 (wasted) minuted googling implantation bleeds. AF today fits with my ov based on CM and with my LP being what I thought it was. Why can't I let this drop . Sorry. Being a bit mad today. Hormonal? (no GGG, no, stop that...)

GreenGlassGoblin · 10/01/2008 12:30

But one drop of blood fits with implantation after conception 11 days ago, which would be right.... (stop it...)

MsSparkle · 10/01/2008 12:31

MrsEi25 if i am pregnant then i will definatly keep it. It was just earlier than i'd hoped because dd's birthday is in October and i didn't want the new baby to be born near dd's.

dressedupnowheretogo · 10/01/2008 12:33

hello ladies think im on cd 18 no bding last night due to an attack of the hives

but we did it twice other day lol

my body is doing the weird im already pregnant thing my boobs aew all swollen again and feel slightly sick

but god knows

any ideas why my body is doing that ????

sambrads · 10/01/2008 12:50

dressedupnowheretogo its your body playing up on you as soon as you think you might be pregnant you start thinking things!!!!!

i have had sore boobs for all 8 cycles with no luck but when i did get preggers wit ds i had the sore boobs ever and that was when my af was late !!!!!!

i am hoping i dont have sore boobs as might be a sign that i am pregnant !!
sorry i am trying to convince myself

glastochick · 10/01/2008 13:10

MsSparkle I wanted a July08 or August08 baby, so we held off starting to try. I'm now aiming for an October08 baby. You don't know how long it's going to take to conceive and they will come when they're ready, so just go for it.

ClairePO · 10/01/2008 13:16

ooh GGG fingers crossed!!!

glastochick · 10/01/2008 13:25

AF has finally left this month. Getting odd crampy feelings though, like when I believe I OV, and CM (not EWCM but think I would need to go on a search for that as I've never actually seen it), so wondering if perhaps OV'ing early?

Slightly tempted to pee on my ebay cheapy this afternoon instead of waiting until Saturday which would be CD10.

Asked DH earlier what time he'd be home but won't be until midnight. Have hinted as best I can in a crowded workplace over the phone that he is wanted for BD'ing , regardless of the fact that I will be tired and grumpy by the time he gets back!

fruitloop79 · 10/01/2008 13:35

good afternoon ladies

Right you lot, I think we all need a bit of cheering up.

Here's a joke I was told a long time a go by a child:
Why do squirrels swim on their backs?

GreenGlassGoblin · 10/01/2008 13:36

I think I know this one

GreenGlassGoblin · 10/01/2008 13:38

is it....

to keep their nuts dry?

Now, why to squirrels sleep on their stomachs?

fruitloop79 · 10/01/2008 13:39

ha ha!

ummmmmm...........I dunno

GreenGlassGoblin · 10/01/2008 13:40

to keep their nuts warm, of course!

fruitloop79 · 10/01/2008 13:47

he he.

I heard a very funny one last night on Dibly, did anyone see it?

digitalgirl · 10/01/2008 13:51

sorry to hear TEW has been snooping around again.

GGG if it is implantation then try waiting to test in a couple of days time (to give the hormone a chance to build up)...and good luck!

mibbes · 10/01/2008 13:54

Fruitloop is it because their nuts weigh them down ?
Good job trying to cheer the ladies up - it does feel like we had a whole heap of BFPs then nothing... anyone testing today ?

Hi cycle buddies Kate2179 and Emmsy - thanks for that story about agnus castus, good to hear another positive story - I have heard mainly positive but the odd negative one and am concerned that I should just leave well alone until I know there is a problem, but on the other hand I am the most impatient person ever... Had anyone else heard negative stuff about EPO ? I was really surprised as had read loads of MNers using it to increase CM.

Incidentally Kate we are in very similar situation as I had no intention of ttc until I had mega preg symptoms end Sept - evetually af came in Oct but am still not convinced what happended - perhaps CP..? Anyway this then forced me to consider how I felt and realised that I was disappointed not to be pregnant so we started trying.. and also with the supplements we are trying etc... - like 2 peas ! Are you also taking Pregnacare ? and actually are any ladies taking anything in additon to Pregnacare or does it provides everything for ttc?

Still no af here - the odd cramnp here and there but no apparent sign - TEW will no doubt take me by surprise with no warning this month as she ocassionally does - witch

fruitloop79 · 10/01/2008 13:57

Hi sambrads just got on here. Had a little peak this morning actually but had to go out. How are you today?

Ok, i've got a TMI question (look away now if you're eating your lunch)

How can you tell the difference between CM and left over spermies?
I convinced myself today I was having a bit of a fertile moment but my OV stick thinks otherwise. We did have a bit of rumpy last night. Thing is I don't think I've ever had clear CM so it does look a little similar to my man's boys
