It's tragic, but I do quite enjoy being the first one in work of a morning. Last day of work today so I have treated myself to a starbucks gingerbread latte and a bag of mini toffee waffles. I am fully expecting to have scoffed them by about 10am!

Only 9 days till AF due! Can't wait. i know there isn't the least danger of me waiting till AF shows - am going to be testing on NYE the moment I get up. But mostly so I feel comfortable drinking on NYE if it's a bfn.

By the way GB, glad you managed to sort things out, even if it's perhaps too late for this month (but you never know!).

Good morning everyone, just thought I'd pop in quickly. I am going away for Christmas (mum's house, no internet) and then off on holiday for a couple of weeks, so I wanted to say a goodbye to all you ladies and wish lots of BFP's on you all over the festive period . Don't take me off the list when my back is turned

I'll know by around New Years Day whether I have a BFP or not, so maybe I'll find an internet cafe and pop in here if it is good news, but I'm not getting my hopes up.

Hi everyone. I thought I would just write a quick note, as I used to be part of the old thread (till I decided my obsessiveness wasn't good for me). Anyway, I got a BFP this morning!

It was cycle 5 after my miscarriage in the Summer and I was getting pretty desperate! I don't know whether any of it helped but the things I did differently this month was have weekly acupuncture and give up caffeine and alcohol.

Anyway, keep believing everyone and merry christmas.

Wow - abbeville that WAS dedication. I could give up caffeine no problem, but alcohol... hmmm just not sure.

Just updated the list. I seem to have lost a day somewhere. I've suspected this for a couple of days but have been too lazy to check it.

CD 28 here and no idea of when AF might come. I think I might do a test on the morning of NYE to see if I can drink or not, but I still won't have any confidence that I'm not PG as Fertility Friend thinks AF is likely to come towards the end of the first week in January. W a i t i n g.

I could do alcohol, but not caffeine! How would I get past breakfast time without a cuppa?

Wow, what news to get just before Christmas! Bet you feel great

Gave up caffeine before we started ttc as I wanted to get past the withdrawal sympomts, but not sure about alcohol

Last 2 cycles I was alcohol free during the 2WW but this cycle I'm not going to bother. It's Christmas and what will be will be and all that. A friend told me that it will be sods law and I will fall pg during a boozy month.

I'm in Marbella at the moment, got here this morning. Staying with my DP's family for xmas. I was promised it was 80 degrees but it's been cloudy and rainy since we landed

Ok, I'm on CD86 now. I swear I felt something niggling earlier. Definately felt like AF niggles. Oh how lovely, no AF for 3 months and she appears like an unwanted relative for xmas. She could at least wait till the new year, selfish witch! Oh well, she might not even come anyway, ho hum.

I'm cheerful today because I still think I'm pregnant. My temperature dropped this morning, but that's probably because we left the bedroom window open on the coldest night of the year! I woke up really cross this morning and thought that was another symptom that AF was coming, but DH reckons it could have been because I woke up cold and it made me angry. This is great - it's the first time that I've thought I wasn't pregnant and DH thought I was! Hurray - involvement at last!!

FL my mum says a bit of sun works wonders for our cycles! as soon as that rain goes, soak it up and hatch yourself a nice fat egg. (and don't waste those niggles, they could be ov-twinges not AF-twinges).

Congrats abbeville and no1! Well AF arrived today so it's back to the top for me. (Should've realised it was imminent when I flew off the handle at dh in Tesco carpark today. But I also felt I perfomed a small public service for all the harried shoppers who overheard me and thought, 'Jings, at least I'm not as stressed about Christmas as that madwoman!' Glasto if it's any consolation when I was ttc dd1 I had a few months of conscientious 2ww abstention, followed by an 'oh sod it, gi's a drink' month, which was of course, when I conceived her.

Wow, two in one day!!

Bit fed up to be at the top of the list myself though And now I have checked my dates, I thought that concieving this month would have meant that my babies birth dates would have been really close, but it turns out that if I concieve next month, they will be closer still. Only 5 days between them
I know it is dumb to think on these things, but it would be a shame for them to be so close, not to mention costly.
Although joint parties spring to mind.

I was the same mybabysinthemanger, I got sooo cross with two sets of doors in town the other day. One had a button to press, but didn't open, the other I had to really shove at with my whole body to get it to budge!
I was unreasonably angry with both sets and AF arrived the following day.

the only 'surprise i got this morning was that i havent been paid and i wont be getting paid at all until january!! i rang up the wages office and burst into tears on the phone to the woman who didnt know what to say TBH
what an awful thing to do just before xmas!! now we seriously have to juggle our money and up to now our DD's 2nd birthday party is cancelled!!i suppose at least she is too young to remember it but it is so sh@#%y here at the mo!!
