Hi everyone! Anyone else around 1dpo? Or even if not, thought we could keep each other company during the TWW! A bit about me: I'm 28, been with my partner for 12 years and it's our first month properly TTC although I've been tracking my cycle for around a year now. My cycle is usually between 29-34 days, 12 day luteal phase normally. We've been fairly loose a couple of times in the last year so I've got to know the obsessive TWW feeling pretty well.. hoping we can all keep each other sane!! 🤣

Does anyone know whether I should count ovulation day as the day I got the static smiley or face or the day after? Just thinking of when I should test xx

Danani · 15/09/2021 16:56

@beckybabyx I've always counted is as the day after. I think I read somewhere that once you get the static :) O occurs12-36 h after...

BingeOnChocolate · 15/09/2021 17:24

Ah can I join in too!

Symptom spotting has started and even DP is starting to 'spot' as well. AF according to Flo isn't due until 23rd so that makes me 7DPO today. I've had spotting earlier this week which we've put down as implantation bleeding, feeling a bit nauseous but in the evenings and today had a horrendous headache to one side of my head to the point I went back to bed for an hour before having some paracetamol just so I could concentrate on some work. DP went out and brought some FRER but I'm not going to test until at least Friday/Saturday

CatLady93 · 15/09/2021 17:55

Hi guys sorry for going quiet! 10dpo today. Been having some dizzy spells and last night (sorry tmi) I had like a shooting pain in my actual vagina?! Totally bizarre. After one dizzy spell this morning I actually took a cheapie test but it was negative. AF due on Saturday (at 13dpo) so will see what happens. No signs that it's coming just yet other than some normal PMS/could be pregnancy symptoms like fatigue and bloating. Trying to remain chill 😊 Re tests I've got a whole mixture. Some internet cheapies, FRER and clear blue digital (reserved for if I get a positive on something else 😁)

Hey @BingeOnChocolate! Wow you've got some encouraging symptoms! Let us know how you get on. Also think it's so sweet that your partner is symptom spotting with you haha! ❤️ I feel like a lot of people (me included) keep their symptoms to themselves and it can be so lonely! Hence the beauty of mumsnet 🥰

@CatLady93 Tbf to DP has my DSD7 already and we are TTC our first together so he's fully involved in everything and seems to know more than me. Lovely but is driving me a little mad over his opinion on things should/will/might be Grin I'll be sure to update on Friday and/or Saturday!

When have you decided to test?

CatLady93 · 15/09/2021 20:38

@BingeOnChocolate Aw haha!! Defo update 😊 I think I'm going to see if AF arrives on Saturday, if nothing then or first thing Sunday then I'll test 😊 Seeing negative tests is so crap so think I'd rather wait!!

beckybabyx · 16/09/2021 10:24

thank you @Danani so that means I ovulated on 11th, when would the earliest you would all test? xx

CatLady93 · 16/09/2021 10:33

Hey @beckybabyx 😊 I know people test quite early sometimes (guilty over here!) but I feel like it's probably best to wait until AF is late. If not I think probably 12dpo would be the earliest to test to have any likelihood of seeing a reliable result 🥰

beckybabyx · 16/09/2021 10:39

Thanks @CatLady93 - that seems soooo far away! Can't help but symptom spot and get excited when I know the likelihood of it happening this cycle is quite low- it's mad how some people just fall pregnant so quickly isnt it Shock xx

CatLady93 · 16/09/2021 10:51

@beckybabyx I know I feel you 😩 I've been symptom spotting like crazy but trying to remain calm too. AF due on Saturday eeeek! If I'm not pregnant I just want it to start so we can try again 🤣 Especially as I usually ovulate on CD19 so I've got extra to wait than normal after AF 😩

How are you all getting on? ❤️ @BingeOnChocolate @Danani @JesssG @Firsttimetrier @Crimmy @mrsS21 @SammiStap @lilrosemarie @andpeggy1 @Bundaberg84 @Ckhw @cockneysparra1 @Radrose

@HerbivorousRex How are you doing? 🥰 Feeling ok so far? 😀❤️ xx

@CatLady93 still only 3dpo here, so no symptom spotting happening, and have agreed with my OH that we won't do any tests unless AF is late. We didn't get to DTD at the perfect times this month, so OH is putting it down as a 'practice run' 🙄😂 I think the last time we DTD that would count was about 72 hours before ovulation.

Firsttimetrier · 16/09/2021 11:10

I’m getting on okay and just trying to put it out of my mind! My boobs are so sore though (so they’re not letting me forget!) but it’s making me question whether my boobs normally hurt this much during ovulation.

AF isn’t due until the 29th, so I think it’s too early to have any symptoms yet?

Danani · 16/09/2021 11:19

I’m doing okay, 7 DPO over here.
Trying to hold off on testing till Tue when I’ll be 12 DPO. Feeling absolutely zero symptoms, so trying hard to not feel discouraged. I didn’t use the CB ovulation tests this month as I was on holiday and instead relied on my app so now I’m beating myself up about it…we DTD pretty good this cycle, starting from about 1 day after AF finished up until and including the supposed O day, which had me feeling pretty great and hopeful, but tbf now that I don’t feel anything symptom-wise I’m starting to doubt it ☹️☹️☹️

Danani · 16/09/2021 11:20

PS sorry to be a Negative Nancy over here, just feeling a bit blah 😒

CatLady93 · 16/09/2021 11:37

@Radrose Haha a practice run is never a bad thing I suppose! 🤣 Really great to be chilled about it apparently 🥰

OP posts:
CatLady93 · 16/09/2021 11:38

@Firsttimetrier Yeahh probably a touch too early I'd say but you really never know! My nipples are usually really sore straight after ovulation. It's a nice indicator that I've ovulated usually 😊

OP posts:
CatLady93 · 16/09/2021 11:40

@Danani Sorry you're feeling down 😞 It's such a rollercoaster isn't it. It is super common though I've read to not have any symptoms whatsoever. So don't count yourself out because of that! I was saying to @mrsS21 further down the thread that my mum didn't know she was pregnant with me until 16 weeks 🤣 So it really is possible! Not too long to go ☺️

@CatLady93 we are getting married at Christmas time, so to be honest next month would be better than this month from the dress perspective 😂 plus he really wants to be able to put it into his speech, so next month is the ideal!

CatLady93 · 16/09/2021 11:46

@Radrose Awww congratulations!! My friend had a Christmas wedding and it was magical 🎄 How special it would be to put it in his speech.. 😭

I’ve been having some spotting today and that’s normally a sign that AF is on its way so I think I’m probably out for this month. Onto cycle try #6 soon I think.
I’m so excited for everyone else to start finding out and hopefully hearing some positive news!

CatLady93 · 16/09/2021 13:54

Fingers still crossed for you @Crimmy, implantation spotting is always a possibility 🥰

I've been having some EWCM today and yesterday. Don't think I have that normally before my period.. do you guys? Why do our bodies do this to us 🙃😅

OP posts:
Crimmy · 16/09/2021 14:08

@CatLady93
Thank you - I’ll keep you posted!
Symptom spotting is a full time job isn’t it!

beckybabyx · 16/09/2021 14:34

I am 5/6 dpo today and just been the toilet and was a small bit of something in my pants (got black pants on so couldn't really tell what colour) so I've wiped it and its a tiny bit of brown blood (sorry TMI Blush) and same when I wiped. Only a tiny bit, is it too early for implantation? What are your thoughts? xx

CatLady93 · 16/09/2021 14:41

@beckybabyx Definitely not too early for implantation! That's an encouraging sign!!
