@QueenLagertha I was exactly the same! I'm sure @newtolineofduty and @MrsRosaline remember because we had a testing pack. I POAS got my BFP, told MN then woke DH up waving my piss stick in the air.

I've stayed away from him by going out to buy cushions and to try and occupy myself! If this Etsy thing doesn't arrive tomo I don't know what I'm going to do!🤣 I'll have to tell him won't i!

@newtolineofduty I do! All the time! But we have a very fun (childish sometimes!) relationship so we're always making jokes at each other and I'm just laughing that bit harder than normal and being overly smiley! And also trying to stay out of his way! Bed time will be the worst! Someone help!!! 🤣

@newtolineofduty that actually sounds like a plan! He's busting himself this eve in our summer house studio thingy. Never know what to call these things🤣 I'll prob take a really long bath then spend hours doing my hair. That should kill enough time for him to fall asleep! Argh! Gonna be so gutted if Royal Mail let me down! It was dispatched on 2nd sept so must be here by tomo right?! If not, what's my back up plan?! I have a Valentine's Day card that has a gold foil heart and underneath says I'm pregnant. I got this for my feb cycle just in case but it obv didn't happen!! Can you tell how much time I've invested in this 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️

@newtolineofduty yeah I think I ordered it super early into the TWW. I actually started this month really positive with "the feeling". It was the evap at 6dpo that realllly bummed me out and made me think this wasn't our month but I guess my initial gut feeling was right!

I prob go way overboard with all this stuff but I'm like that with birthdays and Xmas and other events. I plan months in advance and put so much effort into the details. Love a personalised present and Etsy is the best!!! 🤣

@newtolineofduty oops forgot to say! It's a tiny baby grow with a picture of a drum kit and it says baby drummer on it. My DH is a musician! It's so cute!

It's funny you say that because I have a very positive feeling this month which I've not had before but I'm wondering if that's because I'm much more relaxed than usual! X

@newtolineofduty OMG I would LOVE you all to get you BFP this month too!!! That would really top this chat off! Im manifesting the positive vibes daily for you!! Yeah I don't know what made me feel like that. Im sure it's because I've been off work so zero stress, I started acupuncture and I started using the cb fertility monitor. Im not suggesting that these two things had any impact but I think I felt like I was doing more if that makes sense. Defo the less stress im sure helped. I literally did nothing else different. Didnt even DTD day of ov or the day after!

They do say that people in similar professions have loads in common. All my closest girl friends I've met through work, must be our values that bring us together! I actually started off doing my primary Ed degree but left after the first year as I was a lot more focused on the emotional/ behavioural needs than the education needs! Every time school hols come round I regret my decision 🤣🤣🤣

@hoola23 it's funny because I think this is the month where I've tried the least and had the least control which I think has inadvertently helped me relax!!!! I didn't book in any acupuncture sessions as I did last month and I ovulated early meaning we didn't do it on the days we usually would as DP was away!!! I think it's all helped me to relax!!! I think I'm feeling more positive about TTC more generally though after hearing afew very positive stories recently whereas last month I was starting to feel really negative!!! X

@newtolineofduty I'm a firm believer in doing what feels right for you with everything in life not just TTC. Do what makes YOU feel good! As annoying as it is when people say, it just takes time it actually is true! But believe me if I heard someone else say that to me I would have bitten their head off! You always want an answer don't you! If someone had said to me I can guarantee by x date you'll be pregnant I would totally have relaxed more. Sadly, that's not possible is it! It's the unknown that usually worries us I think, well me anyway!

That's exactly it for me @hoola23! I really struggle with the uncertainty! I'm in absolutely no rush to get pregnant but I'd really like to know whether it will happen or not even if it takes a long time! Xxx

@newtolineofduty I'm totally the same, fully get that! It's exactly what makes it so stressful. Everyone needs an end date or closure to things in life. My close friend is a doctor and she said as long as you have normalish periods and a uterus, it will happen for you!! Not quite sure how true that is but I think she was speaking statistically! I guess we just need to trust in our bodies to do it when the time is right. And it WILL happen! Looking back on my prev cycles I'm actually glad I didn't conceive then. Our house was essentially a building site from jan- June and we did a lot of the work ourselves sometimes till 1am. Not a chance I could of done that if preg! Then I would have stressed about DH doing it all etc etc the human body is amazingly clever when you think about it, it fascinates me. Not sure what your views are r.e religion; I'm not a believer but I do strongly believe in everything happens for a reason. I've had so many positive things happen to me only because of a really negative experience and met amazing people because I chose to go down one path rather than the other etc and I like to think the same theory and logic applies to TTC... who knows!

@hoola23 we renovated our house September-March and I've never been as stressed in my life! It's deffo good you weren't pregnant then!

I totally believe everything happens for a reason!!!!! I really believe in fate! How are you getting on avoiding DH!? 😂 x
